Really nice everyday colour, lasts all day and surprisingly moisturizing on my dry lips. I like this product a lot, though I am skeptical of the 'natural' claim, as its listed ingredients include some dyes not found in other natural product lines. Nonetheless, I do like the way this product wears. *Other downsides: It is quite pricey, and the lipstick does move in its base, denting it against the side of the package.

Gels/Soaps -Dr. Bronner's - Eucalyptus Castille Liquid Soap

Great, basic soap. Good for body & face. It is not at all drying, but balancing for my combo-sensitive skin. Some use it for hair, in my experience it was totally ineffective as shampoo. This scent is great, I prefer it to the peppermint (which can sting!) and the citrus orange (which is really light). FYI, it is great for cleaning your bathtub/shower too!

Masks -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Masque

This mask has rave reviews all around, so I thought I would pick up a tube when I saw it at my local health food store. It does seem to minimize blackheads and diminish spots quickly. However, I find it a little drying for my combination-sensitive skin. Also, a word to the wise: this is somewhat toxic stuff, which rates a 5 (medium hazard) on the cosmetic safety database. For occasional use, it's probably fine but I will not repurchase. I'm looking for a clay-based mask with less harmful ingredients instead.

This shampoo is fine, but nothing special. It cleans well and is not too drying for my very long, fine blonde hair. However, the smell is terrible and the packaging is irritating.

Lipstick -NYX - Electra

This lipstick is not drying, which is great for such a highly pigmented product. However, on the flip side that renders it a bit smeary and messy. I like this product, but wouldn't repurchase in this shade. I find it to be more of a pink than a true red, and I think the messiness would bother me less in a more subtle shade.

Lip Treatments -Badger - Tangerine Breeze Lip Balm

This is a nicely-scented, very moisturizing lip balm. It has a low score on the cosmetic safety database, and it is perfect for everyday use. The Lavender & Orange and Highland Mint scents are really nice too!

Eye Shadow -NYX - Jumbo Eye Pencil in Oyster

Great color, on my fair skin & blue eyes it comes out very purple. Love the creamy texture and application is totally foolproof. The color is very vibrant and it is easy to get a lot of color. The issue with this product is that it has no staying power. It wipes off VERY easily and will almost certainly be gone within a few hours. However, if you hate hard-to-remove eye makeup (I do) & don't mind retouching, this is probably a good product for you.

Mascara -Clinique - Bottom Lash Mascara

I love this mascara and use it on both top & bottom lashes. For a non-waterproof mascara, the staying power is great - it lasts til the end of a sweaty, dancing club night! It is very subtle and not flaky. Lengthening rather than volumizing. Although it is a bit pricey for a small tube, it is a mixed blessing because it forces me to repurchase regularly (and mascara s/b replaced often).
