I LOVE the quality of the blush brush best! Best blush brush I own! It's so soft, NO fallouts, and easy to blend with. Now, the eyeshadow brush is okay. It works great but not on my little Asian eyelids. The concealer brush is perfect, I use it to apply my MAC eye primer. Eyeliner brush is pretty decent as well. And the brow/lash brush works just like every other brow/lash brush. Repurchase: MAYBE.

Lipstick -Avon - Shine Attract
rated 3 of 5

The packaging looks very pretty and it's a nice idea of AVON's. I might buy the larger version after buying six sample versions. But however, it's not really like a lipstick. It's more like the gel lip gloss-stick from Maybelline or the jelly gloss from High Intensity Pigments from L'Oreal. It's very sheer, has a natural shine, is moisturizing, but is nothing like the brochure, which advertised a more intense, pigmented color and with a lacquer shine finish. Although it doesn't give what it promises, it was still a good purchase. P.S. Another con, the color in the middle only reached the middle of my lips. I had to blend the color out. It doesn't apply as smoothly and successfully like other lipsticks. I don't think it's really much like an actual lipstick.

Makeup Brushes -Avon - Face Brush

I generally like longer handles on brushes, unless if it's a kabuki brush. But this brush was still quite nice. I just got it today, and it applies on my powders and blushes very smoothly. Easy to blend with and perfect for its price. Perfect alternative to high end brushes. [EDIT: I started using it more and I had a lot of fallouts. The bristles are now pretty thin and just annoying... I won't repurchase this...never mind.]

Eye Primer -MAC - Prep + Prime Eye
rated 5 of 5
QuyneKayVi 2/10/2012 10:38:00 PM

I'm so surprised about the low reviews on this product! In my opinion, I think it's even better than Urban Decay's primer potion. I owned both and both were stolen. However, I'll be stocking up again on the MAC primer. The thing is, don't overapply it. It's just a base layer to go under eyeshadow. You have to apply it very sheer and lightly blend it as well, along with the Urban Decay primer. It kept my eyeshadow long lasting all day and did not crease. My eyelids aren't very oily so others may suffer a bit D;

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Eyeshadow Brush
rated 5 of 5
QuyneKayVi 2/10/2012 10:33:00 PM

This product was so cheap but such good quality! Sadly, it was stolen :( But I shall buy it again! It was perfect for every eyeshadow pot/palette I had and seemed to grab everything off of even the least pigmented shadows. It defines perfectly, yet blends quite nicely as well. If you don't want to spend dollars on a high end product, certainly turn to this brush in your local drugstore.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Foundation brush
rated 4 of 5
QuyneKayVi 2/10/2012 10:29:00 PM

I actually found this foundation to be quite nice. Since I like to pat my foundation on so that it doesn't look cakey, the flatness of the brush works best. I used to use an AVON foundation brush and it was much too thick. This is my favorite foundation brush by far and is amazing quality for its affordable price!

Makeup Brushes -Avon - Ergonomic Foundation Brush

This applies on my foundation rather smoothly, but I have to wash out the bristles ALOT. My e.l.f. foundation brush can stay much longer without washing. I found the brush to be a bit too thick for a foundation. I prefer patting on my foundation with a flatter brush, but this one was still fine. Its bristles are smooth and it's the perfect alternative to a high end or a drugstore brush.

Makeup Brushes -Avon - Kabuki Brush

I bought this once, it got stolen, and I replaced it again. It was quite good for the price so I thought, why not? This brush goes on my cheeks rather soothingly, but not as smoothly as my high end brushes. It does have a couple of fall outs but not too much. I mean, you do get what you pay for. But it's not such a big deal and I love applying my blushes with it and my face powders. The bristles are packed together quite nicely and it makes it extremely voluptuous.

Misc Beauty Tools -Avon - Eye Need It! tweezer
rated 4 of 5
QuyneKayVi 2/10/2012 10:22:00 PM

Great tweezer! It's very precise, but the con part is that it is very sharp at the same time so I tend to hurt myself alot more when I use this tweezer more than other tweezers. However, I am able to pluck more brow hairs with precision.

Brows -Avon - Brow Shaper - Clear
rated 5 of 5

This is the ideal gel for my lashes and works just like how a hairspray would on my hair. It keeps them in place and grooms them smoothly.

Mascara -Avon - superSHOCK Mascara
rated 3 of 5
QuyneKayVi 2/10/2012 10:17:00 PM

It was very volumizing and went on smoothly. Sadly, I had a bad batch and it expired rather quickly, which made the formula go on rather gumpy. The first few weeks of using it went rather swell, though! It made my incredibly sparse lashes very voluptuous and gave me the falsies look.

Mascara -MAC - All Mascaras
rated 3 of 5
QuyneKayVi 2/10/2012 10:14:00 PM

I think the MAC mascara I have (curl + volume + lengthen) is too expensive for its quality. However the formula is pretty great, smells quite pleasant and fruity. It was slick and didn't clump until I overapplied. It sort of works better on curlier, thicker, and longer lashes, though. So if you have sparse, thin, and really straight lashes, this one is not the one for you. It goes on quite all right and I would still use it for a polished look. However, I prefer a falsies look and I'd have to say that drugstore mascaras look better on my lashes.

Mascara -Avon - SuperMagnify
rated 4 of 5
QuyneKayVi 2/10/2012 10:09:00 PM

When I first ordered this product, I ordered it in black and got my order in brown. However, when I finally applied it on, I didn't care about the color anymore, even if it looked awkward with my black brows and black hair! I didn't expect a thin brush to do much to my lashes, but the effect was pretty flattering. It lengthens and curls so well, but not so much on volume so you really have to wiggle the wand or add a coat or two of volumizing mascara. I always get compliments on my lashes when I use it, and has compared to my MAC mascaras. The formula, I'm not so fond of, though. It had a really unpleasant smell and expired quickly. I might have just gotten a bad batch.

Eyeliner -Avon - SuperShock Eye Liner
rated 3 of 5
QuyneKayVi 2/10/2012 10:04:00 PM

I have ordered this in the teal color and the silvery black one. I intend to order it in the coppery gold color (the review below made it so appealing!). The silvery black one just came in today and I will be expecting the teal one in a week. The black one is a shimmery black that glides on rather smoothly and looks quite pretty. I can apply it on light or build up to a more intense color. After it dries, it's 90% smudge proof. The glitters in it may spread if you smudge it after it dries but it's not too noticeable and I really don't mind. It's alot better than the previous Black Pearl gel eyeliner that AVON came up with a few years ago. THAT one was an epic fail and it was chunky and hard to apply smoothly. I prefer the Mark eyeliner duo in Entourage but this is a quite nice and affordable alternative.

Lipstick -Avon - Perfect Wear Extralasting Lipstick
rated 4 of 5
QuyneKayVi 2/10/2012 9:56:00 PM

I have this in Forever Burgundy and Sand Gold. As quality goes, I must say that it varies with the color that you order. Sand Gold was my first order. It was so pale on me that it made me look quite dead. The formula, however, was satisfactory and much like L'Oreal's Infallible lipsticks. I kissed my own hand to try their lasting ability and like L'Oreal, a sheer bit of lipstick gets on your lips and you do have to reapply. I'm not liking Sand Gold too much, it probably will look better on the palest of women, but what's good is that it's one of the only lipstick brands I own that never get on my teeth! (As pretty as their colors are, the other AVON lipsticks have been known to leave bits on teeth.) However, I opted to give this brand a second chance by selecting a different color. The brochures are sooooooo misleading. Sand Gold was lighter than advertised and Forever Burgundy was lighter as well. It wasn't exactly burgundy, but it wasn't the classic red lipstick either. It was more of a deep red, almost like blood. But it looked actually quite flattering and the formula, in my opinion, does not seem as dry as the previous reviews have said. This lipstick lasts for quite a few hours, I don't quite know about eight hours, I have never worn it for that long, but the quality for the price is pretty great. Durability and the attractive colors (if you choose the right one for your skin tone) are the highlights of these products.
