Eye Shadow -Physicians Formula - Retro Glow Cameo Eyeshadow
QuinnBridget 6/29/2005 9:52:00 PM
I have this in Vintage Silver, which looks like a shiny nickel. It is a very shimmery, light colour and is great as a highlighting colour. It comes in the prettiest little case, which looks like antique metal. And the powder has a little cameo pressed into it. I mainly bought this for the pretty design, because it was on sale for about $1. I don't plan on using the eyeshadow.

Blush -Physicians Formula - FancyPansy Botanical Highlighter
QuinnBridget 6/29/2005 9:45:00 PM
I bought this because it was on sale and I wanted some kind of highlighter. It's not really the kind I was looking for but it's nice anyways. It has blue, white, yellow and lavender powder that blends together to create a very light lavender shimmery highlighter. I normally us this under my eyes because I believe it lightens the dark circles. It could be used as a blush but I prefer more pigment than this has. Also, this doesn't come with an applicator of any sort so you must provide your own, when they could of easily fit one in the packaging. All in all, a cute product.

Pressed Powders -Physicians Formula - Retro Glow Face Lace Balancing Face Powder
QuinnBridget 6/29/2005 9:40:00 PM
I found this in the clearance section in a drugstore one day, I had always thought the retro glow products had the prettiest little designs but I'm cheap and don't like to spend a large amount of cash on a drugstore item (yes, the $11 retail is to much for me hehe). Anyways, I got it for about $2 because I really needed a new face powder after mine broke all over the place. These really are the prettiest little things, the plastic container looks like antiqued metal and a lace pattern is pressed into the powder (making it almost painful to destroy it). The front is a clear window looking into the powder and when you flip it open, under the powder is a mirror and cute little puff. I love the design. I was very surprised at how well this powder works, it has great coverage, blends well and doesn't make me look to fake. Although, the colour venetian biege is a little to dark for my skin tone even with it being translucent. I liked this product enough to go pick up another one for when I run out. I highly recommend it.

Lotions/ Creams -C.O. Bigelow - Lemon Body Cream
QuinnBridget 6/29/2005 9:32:00 PM
I got a mini bottle of this free with purchase. First off, I cannot stand the smell. It is a very strong lemon (of course) smell, but not in a sweet way, in a acidic way is more like it. The lotion has a rich texture and absorbs nicely, I just do not feel that it does a good enough job of moisturizing. My skin feels like it could use more. I would not buy this product again, for the price I don't think it works well enough and the smell is irritating. Plus it comes in a glass jar which is always a negative.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Melon
QuinnBridget 6/29/2005 12:49:00 AM
Though the price you may pay for a container or pigment may be a little steep, it will last you a lifetime. And there really is nothing like it. It has the best texture, the best blendability, unique colours, best texture. Everything about it is perfect. They are wet/dry shadows so they will give you either a light or dark look. I usually use them wet beacause I like my look very intense. A golden peach neutral shade. Very pretty, and natural looking dry.

It really makes eyes pop and it isn't a shade of blue that is hard to wear if you want to stand out. I can't really see this one being used for someone working in an office or anything though.

One of my favourite shades that I've so far tried.

Polishes -OPI - Pinking of you
QuinnBridget 6/29/2005 12:16:00 AM
A bright medium pink cream. Overall, I dislike OPI nailpolish. I find it chips extremely easily, the bottles are hard to open and keep hold of, the price at $6-7 a bottle is a little to steep when I know I can get a better product for much cheaper. If you really look at thier collection of colours, they seem to release the same 10 shades and rename them over and over again with the occasional diffrent alluring colour. Also, the colour is usually beautiful in the bottle, and looks nothing like it on the actual nails. I must admit the colour names are cute and clever but I'm not going to purchase the polish based on that.

If you have used the shade pink-ing of you, this is just slightly darker. A medium pink cream. Overall, I dislike OPI nailpolish. Polishes -OPI - Drip Dry
QuinnBridget 6/29/2005 12:09:00 AM
I love this stuff, it's the only product I have yet to love from OPI. It dries lacquer to the touch in 5 minutes. It truly does. You drip a couple little drops onto the nail and it evaporates and dries the polish. Works wonders, especially if you always mess up your polish like I do,

Polishes -OPI - Dress to Empress

Think of Dorothy's ruby slippers and you have this colour. Beautiful bright vibrant red with big shiny glitter. Sadly it turns rather dull on the nails but I just like to look at it and go: ooh, so pretty. Overall, I dislike OPI nailpolish. Polishes -OPI - Glacier Bay Blues
QuinnBridget 6/29/2005 12:05:00 AM
A beautiful deep dark blue with green shimmer. Sadly this streaks on me and isn't as dark as I wanted it to be and the green shimmer doesn't show up enough for me. Overall, I dislike OPI nailpolish.
