Misc Beauty Tools -Clarisonic - Pro Skincare Brush

I am in love with this product!! I bought the Pro version from my dermatologist. It has more settings than the Mia, but I have only used it on the lowest one so far. I use the gentle (not sensitive) blue brush head. I wear alot of products on my face and this gets everything off. I had previously been on Differin, Clindagel, Benzaclin and oral antibiotics which all made hyperpigmentation worse IMO. I have been using this now twice a day for about 7 weeks now and my skin has never looked better. I used to get cystic ance in spots (one on my cheek or one on my chin), I no longer get it. My skin has a lot of redness which is why I got the sensitive brush head. It has dramatically improved. I no longer use all the prescription stuff on my face, except for 2. I always got compliments on my skin, because I hid the imperfections well with makeup. But, now people are commenting all the time and I need less makeup. My face has never felt cleaner. I would recommend it to anyone with acne-prone, sensitive skin. I will definitely re-purchase!

Self Tanners -L'Oreal - Sublime Bronze Tinted Self-Tanning Lotion in Natural Medium Tan
QUEENB26 5/26/2010 12:23:00 AM
I tried this after reading many reviews. The color is a very natural bronze glow. As a former tanning bed devotee, this has replaced my indoor tanning. It does start to fade funny after 3 days or so if you don't exfoliate beforehand. But, I am very happy with this. The price is reasonable too. I have used St. Tropez in the past and like this just as well.

Fragrances -Givenchy - Hot Couture

This is one of my favorite perfumes. I try others and always go back to it. People always compliment me and ask what I am wearing. It is in the same family as Flowerbomb, Lolita Lempicka, Escada Magnetism. Lovely, unique and long lasting.

Liquid -Estee Lauder - Maximum Coverage Foundation

This is an HG concealer for me. It covers my blemish scars and some hyperpigmentation spots. I was told that some plastic surgeons use this to cover facial bruising after face-lifts. It has a lightweight, oil-free finish with full coverage. It has never caused my combo/acne skin to break out. Love it!

Makeup Brushes -MAC - 182 Buffer Brush

I love this brush. After I apply my foundation, I pounce the brush (so soft!) onto my face and then go back over in a buffing motion to work in my mineralize skinfinish natural. It looks flawless! Definitely worth the money.

Concealers -BeneFit Cosmetics - Boi-ing

I really like this concealer! I have fair/medium skin with pink/red undertones. Old acne scarring is covered with this concealer, last about 6-7 hours depending whether I am inside or out. It is very humid & hot where I live most of the year, so it is very important my makeup doesn't melt off. I always keep this concealer on hand and an extra in my purse.

Concealers -Make Up For Ever - HD Concealer

I really like this product. The sales "guy" at Sephora suggested it to me. You cannot tell where the concealer meets your skin. It blends so nicely and photographs well also. It covers older acne scarring and doesn't look thick. My only complaint is you cannot tell how much product is left when you are almost out. Sometimes when you click & turn the pen to get product, too much comes out. I will definitely buy this again.
