The root beer Lip Smackers is amazing. For some reason, this flavor is more moisturizing on my lips than any of their other flavors. I also love the soft look it gives, along with the slight tint. I've gone through several tubes, and when I try other flavors or lip balm brands, they never measure up to the root beer balm.
This is the ultimate matte, pale, nude lipstick. I love mixing this with other lipsticks, and it looks great with beige-y pink liner. There is no other alternative that does a more beautiful job.
Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Prince Matchabelli- Cotton Candy Cologne Spray

I agree with all the great reviews below. This spray is border-line magical. I love it. Men love it. My fiance goes crazy for it. The musky, cotton candy, strawberry scent is amazing and lasts over 24 hours. It's so dirt cheap in the best way possible. I'll reach for this over many high-end fragrances. And it matches beautifully with Victoria's Secret's Strawberries and Champaigne body spray, as well as many of their other scents.
Conditioner -Back to Basics - Coconut Mango Moisture Quenching Conditioner
PureAmbrosia 10/22/2012 10:30:00 PM
I love coconut-laced, tropical scents, but the smell of this conditioner was a complete turn-off to me. To add insult to injury, it left my fine, color-treated hair feeling heavy and difficult to manage. It did not deliver the softness and frizz-control that I experience with other conditioners, and I will not repurchase.
Shampoo -L'Oreal - L'Oreal Kids Shampoo- Strawberry Smoothie
PureAmbrosia 10/22/2012 10:21:00 PM
Wow, this shampoo smells delicious and the packaging is adorable. It is also very gentle and moisturizing. But it is no miracle-worker for my fine, color-treated hair, which sometimes needs something a little more complex to achieve the sleek, frizz-free styles I love. It's fun to use, though, and it's a nice back-up shampoo to have in your stash.
I would choose Aussie's Moist conditioner over most other drugstore and high-end conditioners. I have long, fine, color-treated hair. This has a unique effect of leaving my hair feeling light and clean, yet super soft and smooth. You receive amazing quality and quantity for the price with this conditioner.
Conditioner -Suave - Professionals Almond & Shea Butter
PureAmbrosia 10/22/2012 9:15:00 PM
There are several alternative drugstore conditioners that I would choose over this one. After finally testing this out due to all the hype, I was a little disapointed. Basically, this did nothing for my hair, other than help with detangling while in the shower. I have long, fine, color-treated hair, and I did not experience any special softening or frizz control when using this.
Sometimes it's worth it to splurge on hair care and Joico's Intense Hydrator is the perfect example of this. In my experience, this can be used every day, but works best when used only a couple times a week. It leaves the hair extremely soft, without feeling heavy. Frizz and flyaways disapear. It's a beautiful conditioner, but can lose it's effectiveness when used too often. It's a great gem to have in your hair care stash.
I love Rusk's Calm shampoo. It leaves my hair feeling fresh, soft, clean, and moisturized. My hair color looks gorgeous when I use this. My hair is wavy-straight, color-treated, fine, oily at roots, dry at ends, prone to frizz. For my hair type, I definitely experience above-average results when using this. And it smells amazing, as well.
Shampoo -Suave - Suave Professionals Aloe Vera & Ginseng Volumizing Shampoo
PureAmbrosia 10/22/2012 8:40:00 PM
This volumizing shampoo is very average. It cleanses without leaving a lot of residue, yet my hair didn't feel completely clean after blowdrying. It also left my hair feeling a little dry and frizzy. It was not a huge loss, since I bought it for $1 from Walmart, but I will not repurchase.
This mascara looks very black and very lush on my blonde eyelashes. I can apply multiple coats without it clumping or flaking. But at the end of the day, it's close to impossible to remove and I always end up losing a few stray lashes trying to take it off. The deal breaker is that it often smudges beneath my eyes, especially in warmer weather. The price ranges from $5 (Target, Walmart) to $8+ (CVS, Rite Aid, etc.) and I've been able to buy it for $2 with coupons from the Sunday paper. I'm moving on to mascaras that won't damage my lashes so much at the end of the day.
