Sunscreen -Paula's Choice - Extra Care Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF30+ (new formula)
PsycSara 4/29/2012 9:59:00 PM
I'm really liking this SS. I use Retin-A and Clindoxyl gel so my skin is dry. This is moisturizing and doesn't sting. I wish PC had the same formula but with a higher SPF. I notice redness the next day if I forget to reapply. No whiteness left behind and MU goes on easy over top. Will DEFINITELY repurchase.

Treatments (Eye) -Clinique - Repairwear- Intensive Eye Cream

AVOID!! I used a sample of this product last night and woke up with swollen eyes...I could hardly see out of the right eye. I must have had an allergic reaction?! White bumps starting to develop under eye as well. Never had any problems with eye cream before and don't consider my skin to be sensitive.

Cleansers -LUSH - 9 to 5
PsycSara 11/5/2011 9:29:00 AM
I wish this worked for me. I've tried it twice and both times experienced break-outs. It doesn't remove makeup and seems to clog my pores. I do love the smell and the fact that it's gentle and vegan. I think I'll have to use this as a hand cleaner.

Cleansers -MAC - Cleanse Off Oil
PsycSara 9/18/2010 9:51:00 AM
I really wish this product worked for me. After reading all the great reviews I couldn't wait to try it. The first few days were great!! My makeup and natural SS melted off so easy! I didn't follow up with another cleanser after. However, after a few days, my skin was SOO dry. Like painfully dry after using this. My skin felt like it was so tight. I do use a low dose of Retin-A every night. probably if I didn't, this product would work for me. Not sure whether to return or keep for the summer..

Sunscreen -Unlisted Brand - Soleo Organics SPF 30+
PsycSara 9/18/2010 9:47:00 AM
Liking this product!! Potential HG status...will have to wait and see. I've been using this product for about a week now. It's super safe and provides good protection. It also doesn't leave a white cast, as many other natural SS do. The price is lower than other SS I've tried. The smell is a bit weird, but I prefer a natural smell, to perfumey smells/irritation. My skin is pretty dry/sensitive because I use Retin-A everynight so I really needed a nonirritating SS. This is it!! I also like the texture. It's very moisturizing! Minor problems with mineral make up applications...I'm not sure if it's just because my skin is dry, but I'm noticing some flaking skin around the mouth... So far really liking this!! Will update if things change.

Pressed Powders -Pur Minerals - Universal Marble Powder in Pink

I really like this blush. The color goes on lightly and is very natural looking. I also like the smell. It doesn't have a strong perfumey smell that you get with a lot of cosmetics. Pur Minerals is also a cruelty free company which is very important to me.

Mascara -Pur Minerals - Mineral Mascara
PsycSara 6/24/2010 2:26:00 PM
I like the results of this mascara; my lashes look nice, full, long, and natural, and it doesn't smudge a lot like other mascaras I have tried. I would not recommend, however, because the package is AWFUL! At first I experienced huge globs, but those I could deal with. Then, a week into using this product, the mascara tube split down the side when I was screwing the lid shut. Then today, I noticed that part of the mascara wand seems to have broken as well. The screw piece has become stuck to the bottom part of the tube. Definitely will not get this mascara again.

Sunscreen -Lavera - Lavera Neutral Sun 40
PsycSara 3/26/2010 11:22:00 AM
Very unhappy with this purchase. I am on Retin A so I need a good sunscreen that won't irritate my skin. This sunscreen doesn't irritate at all, but I can't stand the look of it on my face. It makes me look like a monster. The whitish tinge is unbearable. It also draws attention to my dry skin; You can see the flakes. I tried to mix it with a foundation but that was a bad idea! I looked even worse. I'm upset that I just spent 35$ for a small bottle. I'm also not pleased with the smell. I suppose I can use it on my body. I guess I will continue my search for a non-irritating sunscreen. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. UPDATE: This sunscreen is not so bad. I really love how gentle it is (doesn't burn when you sweat) and how it is effective immediately. To minimize whitish tinge, apply a moisturizer first and make sure your skin is totally dry. Also, start with a small amount...you can always add more. The whiteness disappears when I apply my PurMinerals 4-in-1. Don't know if I'll repurchase, but not as bad as I originally thought.

Sunscreen -Dr. Hauschka - Sunscreen Cream SPF20
PsycSara 3/21/2010 3:57:00 PM
Loved this sunscreen! I am using Retin-A so my skin is sensitive to burning and very dry. This sunscreen was so gentle and provided good moisture for my face. The smell was also amazing. Alas, the product has been discontinued. I tried Aveeno for Sensitive Skin and it burned my face. I have just purchased Lavera Sun 40 SPF Neutral. Will review when I have used.
