Lip Liners -MAC - Dervish Lip Pencil

Dervish seems to be just the shade of lip pencil MAC has been missing. It doesn't have a hint of brown, unlike most of their pencils. It's a medium rose color, not too strong, and very similar to my natural lip color. I think it is most similar to Cedar, but not as bright or orangey. It rounds out the Hug Me and Syrup lustre lipsticks very nicely. It's also substantial enough to wear on its own under a lipgloss. Both Magic Spell lipglass and Lancome's Mirage Juicy Tube look *gorgeous* when paired with Dervish. This liner could be used to make beautiful spring lip looks but with the right lipstick and gloss, can take you through fall as well. Time to stock up- Dervish is amazing!

I was drawn to this by its lovely scent, but I should have read the reviews first! This was very drying to my lips, so much so that I can't even use it. Disappointing.

This is a pretty shimmery white color that is perfect for highlighting the browbone! It's also great as a shadow. The color is very versatile and I am very pleased with the quality as well!

This is a great neutral blush. It gives a very natural look- no shimmer! It's just enough to give a flush but the color is buildable. It also comes in a pretty silver mirrored case. For the price, you can't go wrong with this!

This product is not as high-quality as some of the others in the SK line. It clumps a lot during application and flakes off easily. I think there are much better mascaras out there in this price range. Disappointing.

This is a fabulous eye makeup remover! It removes even the most stubborn waterproof eye makeup! The best thing about it is how little you need, and how long it lasts! It also doesn't leave a film. A bargain at $8!

Eyeliner -Prestige - Golden Brown

This is a very pretty gold/brown/bronze liner. The wearability is good and it goes on shimmery, which is nice. This is a great cheaper alternative for MAC Teddy Eye Kohl. The color is particularly good for bringing out my green eyes!

Eye Shadow -Prestige - Eye Shadow "Uva"

This is a very pretty soft lilac color with silver sparkle. The color is very nice with my green eyes but I find the glitter can fall off my if I apply it too heavily. It's also not as smooth in texture as some other Prestige shadows. However, the color is lovely and at $3-4, this is a steal.

Eye Shadow -Prestige - Sandstone shadow

This is a soft-to-medium brown that applies so smoothly and blends perfectly. It's great to have in any collection to use in the crease. It's not too dramatic and it's also fairly matte. A nice neutral color. It wears great and is cheap!

Highlighters -NARS - Body Glow

First of all, I think this looks best when I am already tan, which somewhat defeats the purpose. That being said, the color is nice and it stays well. The scent is fabulous and it works nicely on my dry skin, but I cannot justify the price considering I have tried other products with very similar results.

This balm does a great job of moisturzing my very dry lips. I think some people are turned off by it because it isn't highly flavored and scented, but I don't care because it is so effective! I'm not crazy about the container but again, if you haven't had much luck with other balms like me, it is worth putting up with because it truly is effective.

This is a nice soap that does a great job of moisturizing my dry skin. It also exfoliates but isn't too harsh. The scent is great, very natural and not overwhelming. Definitely worth a try.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Deep Blue Green

This color is a very intense shimmery peacock blue-green color, definitely more blue than green. It's not the most useful pigment- I can't see it being used for much else besides lining and perhaps occasionally for a smokey eye. Therefore, a whole bottle would be almost impossible to go through! Like most pigments, the quality and staying power are excellent, and it is a great color to enhance my green eyes.

Lips -Sephora - aquatint

This is one of my greatest finds recently. I've been using this in Rose on my cheeks and haven't touched any of my powder blushes since. It gives such a natural-looking flush that stays all day! Be sure to blend quickly because it sets fast. I am light-to-medium and rose is very natural. The color is also buildable. It works nicely on the lips, too, but I'm squeamish about bright colors on my lips. The bottle is cheap and will last a very long time. Highly recommended!
