I honestly think this is NARS' worst shadow duo. They are chalky and have no color payoff at all. One side is a beige with silver glitter, the other side is a light pink with silver glitter. Boring, but whats even worse is that it wont go on your eyelid!

The quality of these is kind of meh. Not really dry but not really smooth either. They don't have a ton of pigment, but aren't totally sheer. One side is a shimmering silver and the other is a matte dark gray. I agree something is "off" about these shades.

I agree this is scary in the pan, but looks great on. It definitely compliments a tan! Both sides are pigmented and smooth. One side a shimmering gold and the other is a shimmery orange y peach shade with golden shimmer. Gorgeous!

Very basic matte neutrals that look good on especially light skin tones. They are soft and pigmented. One side is a cream color and the other is a very light tan/brown. They seem to really compliment blue eyes.

These shades are very pigmented but very dry. Both have subtle shimmer. One side is a baby blue shade with golden shimmer, the other is a silvery gray. IMO, they just look kind of "meh" on almost everyone.

One of my least favorite NARS duos. It looks pretty inoffensive in the pan, but the light side is a matte cream that shows up a very sheer and chalky looking off white. the right side is a dark brown with some shimmer thats a little cool toned, but it doesn't blend well. The dark side is VERY pigmented and can be used to line eyes.

This is one of my favorite shadow duos from NARS. It is really smooth, blendable, and VERY pigmented. Depending on the brushes you use, this can look very natural and sheer, or really smoky and intense. The colors are a medium-deep taupe and a dark olive shade. Both have some golden shimmer.

These colors are a chocolate brown and hot pink. Strange color combination, but aren't really complex shades. They are VERY dry , pigmented and difficult to blend.

This is a beautiful duo, especially on women of color! Its a matte medium-deepish periwinkle shade and a deep purple thats great for lining. These aren't that smooth but are VERY pigmented!

Both sides of this duo are very smooth, pigmented and blendable. If you like unique neutrals, than look no further!! One side is a sort of cool (maybe?) champagne y golden taupe y color The other side a peachy pink shimmering salmon. Beautiful color combo that looks wonderful on warm skin tones.

These colors are just hideous! LOL. Both are pigmented, smooth and blendable. One side is a mustard yellow and the other side is a very blue based bright purple.

One side is a deep purple that is slightly dry, but very pigmented and wonderful for lining the eyes or very precise crease/outer eye shading. The other side is a super metallic grassy green shade. The green shade is very soft and blendable.

THIS is one of the shadows that gives NARS a bad rep with shadows!!! Both sides are horribly dry, unpigmented and just chalky! One side is a cream shade with some silver sparkles. The other side is a medium matte taupe.

Both of these shades are very silky, pigmented and blendable. The left side a light shimmery very peachy champagne. The right side is a dusty purple thats great for lining or crease. This a very unexpected color combination that works beautifully together.

The left side of April fools is a golden but slightly too yellow shade, with a mediocre dry texture. But the right side is a light-medium shimmery green with some gold tones. The texture of the green side is VERY smooth and silky. Its also super pigmented and blendable.
