Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil

I love this product! It`s moisturizing and the texture is not at all waxy - it just melts. An added plus is that it gives a hint of colour to my lips. Although some others complain about the smell, I actually really like it! When I go to the drugstore for a lipbalm, this is the only kind I will buy.
I bought this in Very Black and am generally satisfied with the results. I have short, sparse Asian lashes and it did quite well in beefing them up. At this price point, might as well give it a try!
I just purchased this mascara and was not too impressed. I have short and sparse Asian lashes and I was hoping that this mascara would give me the "lush lash look". It does add wonderfully to the length department but is seriously lacking volume-wise. Perhaps I haven't quite mastered the technique yet. However, when I combine this with my Loreal Voluminous it does give me quite thick lashes! But I`m undecided whether it is worth the trouble to use two mascaras, especially at this price point.
I'm quite satisfied with this mask. My skin feels noticeable softer and brighter after I take the mask off. I love how it's so convenient, compared to the masks that you have to wash off. But I do agree with the previous review that it does feel slightly drying after a while. Kind weird, but nonetheless, I would definately keep using it.
This is a decent mascara. The formula is very wet though so I have to brush off the excess first. I like how it is very glossy and black. It's more of a lengthening mascara for me than a thickening one, and I found that it didn't define/seperate my lashes as much as I'd like. Also another thing is that it kinda pulls the curl out of my lashes (maybe because of the wetter formula?). Overall, nothing special.
This was my first lash curler so I don't know how other compare. I wasn't too fond of this one, because the shape was too curved and wide for my Asian eyes. And it crimped my lashes more than it curled them. I do like that comes with a replacement pad though.
Moisturizers -Shiseido - Pureness Moisturizing Gel-Cream

I'm personally a fan of the Pureness line and this moisturizer is no exception. I like to use this during fall months as it is not moisturizing enough for the cold/dry/windy Canadian winter, but a bit too much for summer. Pleasant light smell, smooth application, excellent texture. However it is quite expensive for the amount you get.
Quite a pigmented blush, a lot comes off the blush when you swipe your brush. Looks like a matte pink blush in the pan, but on me (MMM, C3-4, yellow toned) looks like a medium warm pink with slight red tones. Nothing special about the color, but for this price, it's pretty much unbeatable. I prefer my NARS over this but then again NARS is like 7 times the price! *Edit* It makes me look really ruddy so don't like it.
Shampoo -Thermasilk - Heat Activated Moisturizing Shampoo

This is a staple for me: cheap and effective. Makes my fine, thin asian hair silky, shiny and smooth. I usually don't blowdry or heatstyle, so I wouldn't know how it fares in that department. It does however leave some residue, because if I use it too often my hair starts becoming really flat. So i use a clarifying shampoo once a week.
I received this as a sample, the colour i got was Lavendar Loud, a dark grapey shade in the tube. On my lips the purple basically disappeared, but darkened my lips to a slightly more mauvey colour. The consistency is nice, not too thick and sticky like MAC but not as runny and thin as Cargo. The shine is very natural, like a just-licked-my-lips sheen rather than a plastic-y glass-like shine. Staying power is average, and I don't mind reapplying. This may just be me, but I find that there's a slight salty(?) taste to this, but not enought to bother me. Thank goodness I only got a sample, because for this price I'm expecting more! Asian MMM, NC 30, rosy pigmented lips, drk hair and eyes.
This was an ok bath bomb. THe seaweed kinda bugged me, but the smell was definately not ocean! It smelt like my grandmother's cosmetics! Not the kinda of smell I'd like for a bath bomb! Will not purchase again.
This is an ok product for me. I have combo skin and this didn't really make me feel clean afterwards and the exfoliation wasn't that great. Didin't like the texutre much, kinda gummy. No breakouts or other big probs with this.
Great bath bomb! THe smell is like a spicy lemongrass/citrus mix, very refreshing. Dyes the water a light green. I just LOVE the sparkles! Makes the water so beautiful! Will buy again for sure!
RIS as a sample. Darkens my lips to a nice true raspberry pinky stain (luckily not fuschia!). This a greeat winter color with flushed cheeks! However the formula is drying so I like to put gloss over it or lipbalm underneath. Overall, decent l/s but I wouldn't have bought this on my own. Asian MMM, NC 30, drk hair and eyes, rosy pigmented lips. Edit: This is starting to grow on me. I'm enjoying this as a winter lipstick with a swipe of the plum side of Cargo Bora Bora l/g duo. With a little bit of pink blush and mascara. This combo makes my face look bright and polished.
A sheer warm pink blush, great for the Mandy Moore glowy cheek look. On my asian MMM (C3) skin it was mostly gold shimmer, minimal color. If i add in more layers it turns to be too MUCH shimmer for my taste. This is great for me on days when I have good natural colour but want a dewy glow. Overall, decent blush but is way to small for its price. When I run out I won't be buying it again. I prefer my Blush Delice in Raspberry Sorbet.
