I've been looking for a good, deep cleansing mask for a long time because I have very oily skin, enlarged pores on my cheekes and moderate acne. I bought this mask because I knew that Kaolin, a type of clay, is very effective at absorbing oils from the pores. The Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask was really effective at drawing out my blackheads, reducing pore size and mattifying the skin (I discovered that my face wasn't as greasy for the next few days as a result :D). To get the most out of this product, I would steam your face for 10 minutes to open the pores and then apply the mask. I recommend using this 1-2 times a week. It was about £9/£10, which is a bit steep for The Body Shop, but think about how many treatments you can get out of it! Will definitely buy again.

Loved the texture, and smell of the cleansing foam. I love how it foams up a lot and leaves my skin squeaky clean, removing all traces of make up and dirt.

Shampoo -Pantene - Pro V clarifying shampoo

I absolutely love this shampoo! I have had oily hair for a long time and after the first wash the overall oiliness was reduced considerably. It lathers up very well and has a pleasent scent. I didn't buy Kerastase's oily hair range because of the hefty price tag, but Pantene does the job for the fraction of the price. However, make sure to use conditioner afterwards otherwise the hair can get quite brittle and dry. I recommend using this 1-2 times a week, no more. Stripping the scalp of its natural oils can be damaging in the long term.

I have very thick dry hair that is usually out of control if I don't straighten it. It goes crisp when I blow dry it too. So I went to SpaceNK and asked for a sample of this product because I was hesistant about paying the hefty price tag that came with it. (£13.50 for 50 ml :O ) Before blow drying I applied half of the sample sachet through my hair. After blow drying it, I found that my hair was softer, shinier and in control. Usually my hair goes crisp when I blow dry. It did such a good job, that I didn't even need to straighten my hair much afterwards, which is great because it meant that I was applying less heat to my hair. After finishing 3 sachets of the sample, I am now definately going out to SpaceNK to buy a tube of it! :D

My friend got this free when she travelled on BA first class. She kindly gave one of her free tubes. I was excited to use it because of all the hype but I was slightly disappointed. It did a no more better job than a pot of Vaseline would have done. Not sure how effective this product is because I don't have dry/chapped lips. I only like using it because it's a luxury good.I suppose this product is more for those who have drier/chapped lips.

Tried a sample and was dissapointed, after all the hype. It just reminded me of cheap air freshner...too sweet and peachy for my liking I guess.

Styling Products -Frederic Fekkai - Glossing Sheer Shine Mist

I have rough, dry hair which gets greasy quite easily. After blow drying my hair feels straw like. After a mist of this, it adds shine to my hair without causing any heaviness and grease. The bottle is really convenient to use and I love the scent and the lightness of this spray. Unlike other products, I do not feel like this stuff is "building" up in my scalp.

I was slightly dissapointed when I tried this because it does not show up on my NC42 skin very well. Also, I have slight red scarring on my cheeks due to acne and when I applied this stuff, it just looked like an extension of my pinky red blemishes. When I try it on my lips the red colour looks artificial and fake, not the natural rosy red lips that I was looking for. I guess it does not suit my asian ashy skin tone. HOWEVER all is not at lost as the shimmery pink of High Beam really goes well with my skin tone and sometimes I try and mix it with a bit of Benetint to get a pinky shimmery blush : )

I bought the travel size bottle to see what it was like. Good thing I didn't buy the full bottle of this because this product is a waste of money. It not only smells horrible, but it does not lather up at all so when I apply it to my hair I don't if it's been evenly distributed. I bought this for my oily scalp and it did nothing to make my hair feel clean at all. When I dried my hair, my hair was rough and scalp still oily. And did I mention the inconvenient cap?? The product leaked all over my cupboard which now stinks of that stuff. I had high expectations for this product but unfortunately this product is just not for me.

Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub

I have oily acne prone skin and this scrub is perfect for removing all the dirt and grime. The walnut shells are really good at sloughing off dead cells, cleaning out pores and smoothing out the surface when you massage in a circular motion vigorously. I find that it brightens up my complexion and I love the sweet apricot scent too. This is great value for money and tbh, much better than Benefits Honey Snap Out Of It scrub which is overpriced and overrated. I would not reccomend this type of srcub to dry, sensitive skin as the walnut shells would be harsh. TIP: Just as an experiment, I tried this scrub on my lips. I applied a TINY amount and I scrubbed in a circular motion for 15-20 seconds and washed it off and applied Neutrogena lip balm. This not only made my lips soft and kissable but also increased circulation and made them redder! But be sure to apply something afterwards because the scrub can be drying.

This is a sophisticated, fresh fragrance for the summer. I was lucky to purchase this as it was the last three left at the store!!!. Top notes are sandalwood and slightly citrus too. On me it fades down to a sweet, warm coconut smell after 4-5 hours. Abosolutely gorgeous and will definately become my signature scent!

Smells great but not really for oily skin. It smells so good, i feel like eating it. I think this is for sensitive skin only as the honey is soothing for that skin type.

Highlights my cheekbones really well and brightens up my ashy tone . Creates a subtle brightening effect. Mixed with benetint, creates a pinky flushed colour.
