I am an the lightest shade MAC makes and this concealer made me extremely happy with it's coverage. However, like all MAC concealers and foundations it did cause breakouts. What good was excellent coverage to me if it only created more for me to cover ?

Concealers -MAC - select cover-up
PoesAnnabellee 12/6/2010 7:41:00 PM
This product gave me great coverage, but like all MAC foundations and concealers it broke me out horribly. Anyone, with acne will tell you about this vicious cycle : it covers, you break out, you have to use more to cover that, the makeup use becomes too heavy, and you break out more (not to mention, you go through the product too quickly). If you were blessed with clear skin - go ahead and see how this product works for you - if not, keep your distance. (I am NW15).

Primer/ Corrector -LORAC - Oil-Free Neutralizer
PoesAnnabellee 11/22/2010 10:29:00 PM
One of the wonderful employees at Sephora applied this product for me during one of my trips to the store. I was thrilled with the results and decided to purchase it. I didn't dislike it at all until about halfway through the bottle. I realized that I kept having to use more and more of the product to get the desired effect. Layering on so much blocked up my pores, and caused breakouts to my VERY acne prone skin. This little irritants I ignored at first (for example : The liquid shooting out of the bottle unto my makeup table or pants, or the sticking pump) became downright maddening while rushing through my morning ablutions. It seemed to add insult to injury that I couldn't get the last bit of the primer out of the glass bottle. I talked to the girl at the store and asked her if she had ever had any problems with it, and aside from the packaging, she had remained happy with it. Clearly, this product works for some not others : it did not make my fair, sensitive, acne-prone, combo skin too happy.

Mascara -Christian Dior - Diorshow Mascara

DRAMATIC LASHES. It's a look I am married to. My mother said she would give it a thumbs down because it was too dark and intense for her. I have extremely dark hair naturally, and use a little bit of dye to get it black - this is a perfect shade for those naturally dark haired girls (I must confess I wore it when I had platinum hair as well). It all depends on the look you are going for. Word to the wise - slowly twist the wand out - don't pump it ! This product will dry out quickly if you are careless in that sense.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Lipglass in clear
PoesAnnabellee 11/18/2010 2:21:00 PM
Admittedly, I can see why a lot of people would dislike this product : extremely thick and sticky. Some even say it's far too shiny for them. I gotta say tho, I have always loved lipglass, and have been wearing it for five years now. The shine is absolutely incredible , a look I enjoy so much that I ignore the sticky. I don't wear it to the store or anything, but it really adds that extra oomph when going out, or when I'm sporting heavy eye makeup it is nice and subtle. It did earn the nickname from me : "The I'm Not Kissing Anyone Gloss" because it is, in all honesty, sticky. In spite of that I still have to give it the thumbs up.

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
PoesAnnabellee 11/12/2010 2:32:00 PM
I have used Cetaphil for years and it was recommended by a dermatologist to me. However, it really doesn't remove makeup. My dermatologist told me that if i was going to use it, i had to use a makeup remover as well. I admit it seems like kind of a pain, but I just grin and bear it because Cetaphil doesn't make my acne prone skin worse.
