I think this might be my HG mascara. Application takes a bit getting used to since the formula is a bit more wet and thick but 2 coats of this mascara makes my sparse Asian lashes thick and full. The mascara also holds curl, is not harsh on my sensitive eyes, and smudge free. This was sold to me at sephora as being a tubing mascara but it is hard to remove with just soap and water.

Lip Gloss -Revlon - Colorburst Rosegold

I love this color. I'm NC30 with olive undertones and this color works surprisingly well. I have very pigmented lips naturally and the orangey mauve color combines with the color of my lips to make a more burnt orange russet color which gives me a great summery lip to go with my bronzey eye makeup looks.

Lipstick -MAC - Touch

This is my HG nude lipstick. I'm NC30 with very red pigmentation to my lips. Touch is perfect to give my lips that nude look without washing me out. The lasting power is great. The formula is a bit drying so I moisturize my lips prior to wear and the lipstick lasts about 5 hours on me without touchup.

For 52 dollars you get a lot of product! Overall, I am happy with this purchase. I am NC30 and, with primer, have no issue with any of the eyeshadows. The color selection is great and the payoff is buildable. The glosses are really pretty and all of them are great for my skintown. I layer them on top of lipstick so I don't have an issue of them fading or wearing off too quickly. The highlighter and bronzer work really well. I wish that they would have included cheek stains instead of the eye pencils but I was pleasantly suprised at the staying power of the eye pencils. The case design is a bit flimsy but do-able too. I bought it knowing that it would not be the palette I would take on a plane with me. I agree with the other posters about the last drawer with the eye pencils being difficult to open. I removed all of the eye pencils to get rid of the problem. I would definitely buy this again, the price is great.

I'm NC35 with olive undertones and this lipstick is the perfect bright pink for my skin. The formula is great, does not feather, stays put, and does not dry my lips.

Palettes -Bobbi Brown - Moon Rock Long Wear Eye Palette

empresslilah's review basically mirror's my sentiments about this product...i am glad I bought it but for the price and the cumbersome packaging...I won't get it again. I am a NC35 and actually like the color choices of this palette. Yes they are sheer but they ARE buildable if you apply one coat, wait for ti to dry, then blot another coat on with your fingers. I agree the brush for the shadows are totally useless but with fingers it works very well. I actually prefer that the shadows are sheer with sparkle. For my olive warmer skin color, they make my eyes pop without being garish. The wear is amazing....they lasted a whole 24hours on my lids without budging without primer...amazing. The gel liners are amazing quality but I agree that there really isn't much difference in color between the two, especially with my skin coloring. The brush works well with the liners and they are equally budge proof. I actually reach for this palette frequently and it is my HG product when I have to stay overnight for my job but for the price and packaging I will have to pass...unless I find it again on discount at the CCO.

I was looking for a replacement for the now discontinued Philosophy "the supernatural" mascara which is my favorite tubing mascara. I bought the small 8.50 mascara based on the MUA makeup forum. I am VERY happy with the results. I wear contacts and the forumula did not irritate my eyes at all. I have short, sparse, and straight asian lashes and after only 1 coat I noticed more volume and length. My only tiff with this is that it does not hold curl as well as the philosophy mascara but I am happy with this as my new replacement!

Mascara -Cover Girl - Volume Exact [DISCONTINUED]

I am asian so my lashes are very short, straight, and sparse. I bought this mascara because it said volume....but I was definitely not happy with the results. The mascara did not hold curl well and I did not see any change in volume. I did notice that it lengthened my lashes which was nice...but where is the volume?! I will not be purchasing this again.

I love this mousse. I have permed hair and this product does the trick to keep the curls bouncy and de-frizzed all day. My hair also feels very natural without that crunchy feeling and the fragrance is wonderful. Will definitely repurchase again.

Crème -Shu Uemura - Water Perfect Water-in cake Foundation

I have had difficulty finding a perfectly matching foundation for the yellow undertones of my asian skin. My skin is combination with very few breakouts. This foundation was perfect for my needs. It has light coverage but that is all I really want. It does not clog pores. I use a foundation brush and find that it applies very easily with the brush....have not tried using my fingers or the sponge though. The foundation is super portable which is another plus and it doubles as a concealer when dabbed on to problem areas. My only issue with this foundation is that my skin tends to look oily after a few hours of wear around my t-zone if I use it alone without a mattifying primer underneath. Overall, I would purchase the product again just for the fact that I found a perfectly matching portable foundation shade!

Lipstick -Lancome - Juicy Wear

I love lanome juicy wear. My first was chestnut fantasy and since then I've bought candy apple, bronze honey, pink gourmand, and playful beige...all of which I LOVE!!! After reading other responses I have a few recommendations. When applying this lipstick do not apply too much product. Apply the lipstick with quick strokes, one coat...let it dry...then do the second coat and let it dry a minute before applying the glossy topcoat. This will make the lipstick stay...and not cake and crust off. Also, a lip conditioner is a must at night because the lipsticks are drying. I love the formula and consistency and even mix my colors together for different shades and have had no trouble making them last without touchup for 8 hours which is amazing!

LOVE THIS LIPSTICK! I am a juicy wear addict and, for the first time, I can wear bright red lipstick without worrying where it'll end up! Candy Apple is a bright red that has orangey undertones. I also mix this color with another juicy wear color chestnut fantasy to get a more subdued brownish red color.....I love this lipstick it's really versatile and it stays without drying your lips out!

I LOVE THIS! I bought it on a whim and found that the color was gorgeous..perfect with a summer tan and the formula is great. Ultra shiny and definitely moisturizing.

I like this product overall. The SPF is great but it wears off quickly and I don't think it moisturizes as well as it should. But it's great as a base to put your gloss over.

I love the sparkles in this red. It's perfect for fall/winter. The red was perfect for my asian MMM coloring and was perfect when worn with black liquid eyeliner and a bit of highlighter
