I'm one of the few people that like this eyeshadow. I agree the consistency is a bit paste-like, but to remedy this I apply the color with my fingers and the warmth tends to spread the color on pretty well. This color looks more like a golden peach on my NC45 complexion. I like this because at my age, I don't want to look like I'm going to a club. But if you want a more intensified look, Makeup Geek's Chicka-dee (pale golden orange) can be used on the lid for a matte look. I tend to use Mac's Texture at the crease with this color and if I want a subtle pow, I'll put Mac's Amber Lights on the lid. Nevertheless, worn alone Fierce & Tangy is a good day color for me.

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Gray-T Escape

I have just found my staple nude polish. This opaque slightly pinkish and definitely more beige nude is beautiful!!! Although it's called Gray-t Escape there's no gray undertone. It looks like a clean shade beige on my NC45 complexion. It's similar to OPI's Gargoyle from the Germany collection. My only concern is that the polish was on the thick side. I find Sally Hansen polishes vary in consistency. Definitely make sure it's dry before applying a 2nd coat.

I adore this color! Although it's a metallic / foil color, it's a subtle gold; more of taupe/beige gold on me rather than a garish orange or yellow gold on my dark skin (NC45). When you first apply the color it's looks brighter but when it's dry it's more subtle. Two coats should give the color in the jar. I got a several compliments at work during a meeting! The polished stayed on without chipping for about 6 days without a touch up - not bad!

Eye Shadow -NYX - Brown

This is a great color that every WOC should have in their neutral palette. (Actually everyone should have this one.)The color is a beautiful soft brown. For caramel complexions it looks nice on the lid and for chocolate complexions it would look nice on the brow bone. This color is about a shade darker than MAC's Wedge and a tone cooler than Soft Brown. The matte texture is nice, pigmented, and soft and not chalky at all. It also serves as a nice base color with MAC's Soba for a more satin look.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational in Refined Russet

This color is very similar to MAC's Taupe lipstick but it's not matte and is very creamy. It's slightly lighter in color than Taupe. It looks like a light brown with coral undertones on my NC45 complexion. It's a nice winter nude on me, but I'm not sure if I can buy this again, I think it was a limited edition.

This is my winter nude lipstick. It's such a match on my lips, most people don't notice that I have lipstick on. The color is deeply pigmented and evens out the two-tone colors of lips and makes them look even better on my NC45 complexion. Most likely, this color may not look the same on me in the summer when I browner, but for now it's a nice cool shade of nude on my lips. The only thing that I don't like is the slight fragrance of the lipstick.

The make up artist suggested this color when I mentioned I wanted a neutral /coral color for my NC45 coloring. The name is misleading to me, it's in the warm family. I love this color! It's very similar to the color Touch, and browner than Mocha. It looks like a beautiful peachy clay color on my lips, nice for a every day look and giving me a warmer look in the winter. Not very drying so far and it looks very nice with dot of MAC's Sublime Shine gloss.

Eye Shadow -NYX - Peach

This is one of my new favorites. It's such nice quality, highly pigmented eyeshadow. This color looks like a coral-bronze on my NC45 skin tone. I use this with a light hand for work due to the shimmer. This is what I wished Mac's Expensive Pink would look like, but not the case. I wear this color on the lid with Mac's Saddle in the crease. Mac's Somoa Silk could be used on the brow bone for a monochromatic look. This can also be used with NYX's Almond which is about a shade darker from this, but more so on the copper side. This should be a staple color women with deep complexions.

Liquid -Clinique - Stay-Matte Oil-Free Makeup

I have mixed feelings about this liquid foundation, but to date, it is the best foundation in regard to a color match for me. I would wear Mac NC45 for reference, which tends to encompass a large range of brown complexions. Stay Matte foundation has a nice range of colors for women of color. I purchased Ginger during the summer when my skin was deeper. The foundation goes on rather matte at first, but there's little glow there. I went back and got color matched recently since I lost my tan - I'm wearing Caramel now. Now that the weather changed there's also less oiliness. To control the oil, I lightly brush on Clinique's Matte Suede powder. Update*********************************************** Dewy coverage during the summer, but it's staying on nicely now that it's almost winter. Nice smooth even look.

This color isn't a great lid color on my NC45 complexion, but it's a very nice blending color going from lid to crease. When using Mac Romp on my lid and Mac Saddle on my crease, Suede is a nice blending color that compliments the two warm colors. Also, although it's considered a warm brown, it's more neutral on me.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Patina (Frost)

Patina is my 2nd go-to eyeshadow after my all-purpose Soba. I like it as it's an age appropriate eyeshadow for me (no chunky frost for me), yet there's that pow! It's a subtle gold/bronze glow on my NC45 complexion. It stands out more than Soba, but less than Woodwinked. It's a nice day color that gives me a wake up fresh look and I wear this color alone on my lid. It's a nice staple color dark skinned ladies.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Espresso

I use this as an eyebrow filler. The color is comparable to the recently discontinued Maybelline dark brown pencil. Espresso is lighter than MAC's Spike color pencil and gives a softer brown look, yet deep enough for my NC45 complexion where it doesn't look ashy or muddy on my brows.

While this color isn't the type of orange that's in this season, it's a beautiful color on dark skin. I'm a NC45 and the color looks like a golden bronzed orange on me and picks up on my golden undertones. For a frost it has a nice creamy texture as well. I wear NYX lip liner in Pumpkin which is orange/gold. It's a nice compliment with Amber Lights and Rule eyeshadow (lightly).

What was I thinking? I really wanted to like this color since orange is the rage this season and the color should compliment my NC45 complexion. A lot dark skinned ladies on YouTube recommend this color. The problem is that my upper lip is light brown but my bottom lip is pink, which made the color looked much brighter than I wanted. If you're a DDD and trying to find a orange or coral look I suggest MAC's Meltdown (orange/ light golden bronze) and L'Oreal's limited edition Sparkling Coral (106- golden coral). BE's Buxom lip gloss in Candi is also a beautiful coral shade. While these colors aren't as orange as Siren, a pumpkin or orange lip liner should intensify the look.

I really wanted to like this color since orange is the rage this season and the color should compliment my NC45 complexion. The problem is that my upper lip is light brown but my bottom lip is pink, which made the color looked much brighter than I wanted. To balance it out I used BE's Buxom gloss in Candi which is in the same family and made the lips look the same color. That's a lot work when I can just find a deeper coral shade. Also, one swipe on the lips with this lipstick should do, as the lipstick is fairly pigmented. If you're lips are pigmented, it will look nice on WOC. However, if you also have the pink lip issue, and you're trying to find a orange or coral look I suggest MAC's Meltdown (orange/ light golden bronze) and L'Oreal's limited edition Sparkling Coral (106- golden coral).
