Let me start off by confessing that I am a huge MAC junkie. I wasn't always a fan, but by the hundreds of products that I now own, I am a loyal customer, and I'm sure I'll always be! Dollymix never really appealed to me. I mean, the colour is gorgeous, but I didn't see how it would complement my skintone. In the pan, it looks like a bright bubblegum pink. Pretty, but practical? I wasn't sure. Until a few weeks ago. I was on Specktra (credit card MURDER if you've been there! I think my spending has gone up about 300% since becoming a member, and I was a big shopper before!) and I noticed a lot of girls raving about this blush. I ignored the hype until even people with bronze and tanned skintones were talking about how fantastic this blush is. That's when I realized that maybe I should give it a chance. I am SO glad I did, because this blush is amazing! It's one of my favourite blushes for sure! I applied it with a light hand, and it gave such a perfect flush of colour. Despite it's appearance in the pan, the pink is actually a neutral, maybe even a warm, pink. It glides very smoothly across the skin, and does not settle into pores. I will DEFINITELY repurchase! I love love love this blush!

Blush -MAC - Mineralize Blush in Love Joy

I absolutely LOVE this blush! It is easily one of my favourite blushes ever. It's the perfect addition to any make up look, it's very versatile! Like the user below described, it's kind of like a blush and bronzer in one. The colour is a very beautiful warm-toned pink. I wasn't sure if MAC was planning on keeping this as a permanent collection, so I panicked, but I believe that they are! I'm very happy about this!

Eyeliner -Lancome - Le Crayon Kohl

This eyeliner was included in a packaged gift set that Lancome was promoting, and truthfully, I wasn't expecting much. I was more interested in the palette that came with it, so I ended up ignoring everything else included for a good while. About a week ago, I was leaving to go out with my friends when I stuffed this into my overnight bag, so I wouldn't have to bring any of my "main" cosmetics with me. I'm glad I did, because this eyeliner is fabulous! It goes on smooth, and the colour is rich and intense. I usually use black eyeliner, but this one was brown and it still looked great. When I went out, people were stopping me telling me what beautiful eyes I had. I would highly suggest this eyeliner, and I would definitely purchase it when I need to, except this time, I'm going to also buy a black and a grey.

Masks -Yves Rocher - Lemon zest extract purifying skin mask

This product is beautifully refreshing, yet, so inexpensive! Lemons are known to have purifying effects on the skin, so it's no surprise that this mask is marketed to do just that. My skin is relatively problem free, but for those days when you need a little extra "help" it's great. It's only three minutes long, and your skin feels smooth and energized after. I will definitely repurchase.

Blush -MAC - Raizin

Raizin is a beautiful brown-y brick colour. It looks fabulous (with a light hand, of course) on my NC40 skintone, and for those of you who despise shimmer; this is shimmer free! Although it's matte, it's very soft and beautiful in texture.. It doesn't sit flat on the skin or look too "dry." It's just.. perfect. The colour reminds me of Ambering Rose also from MAC, but without the shimmer. This is great for the daytime when you want a more natural look, but equally pleasing in the nighttime as well. I would recommend the colour to all skintones, although fairer skintones will want to use a very light hand and blend blend blend!

Styling Products -Victoria's Secret - So Sexy Straightening Hair Gel

I'm usually extremely picky with hair products, so I was skeptical trying this styling gel from Victoria's Secret. First of all, it was suspiciously inexpensive, and I'm used to purchasing far more pricier salon products. Second of all, I don't usually use gels in my hair, I tend to prefer serums and smoothing sprays. However, this BLEW me away. This product is amazing! My hair is down to my back, very thick, but very fine.. I only needed a dime-nickel sized amount! It distributed very evenly throughout my hair, and I found no stickiness or hardness. I let my hair air dry before straightening it with a flat-iron and my mom was like "Your hair looks beautiful!" It really defined and perfected the curls. When I straightened it, my hair went super soft and smooth, but it didn't weigh my hair down. My hair was still full of body, so that was a pleasant surprise. The scent is to die for, it smells gorgeous. Very sensual. People were sending compliments my way all day. I'm very sad though, because I went on the VS website, and this is no longer offered! They do have other products such as straightening serums, so I will try those. I'm really starting to trust the Victoria's Secret beauty line. They have so many fabulous products.

Conditioner -Victoria's Secret - So Sexy Nourishing Conditioner

I love this conditioner. It's absolutely wonderful. It conditions well, without weighing hair down. My hair looked so shiny and healthy, and I colour is often, so this product really made a difference. I would recommend this to everyone!

Shampoo -Victoria's Secret - So Sexy Nourishing Shampoo

I LOVE this shampoo! I'm always on the search for a great shampoo that cleanses well, yet, is gentle enough to prevent any dryness or breakage. I colour my hair frequently, so my hair is prone to damage. This made my hair unbelievably soft and shiny. It seriously feels like baby hair. The scent is beautiful, and lasts long.. Everyone was complimenting me. The one thing that I do have a beef with, is the packaging. The shampoo is packaged in a pink slender bottle, which is esthetically pleasing, but I don't like the top part, I find the sticker (that is to be pulled off, so the shampoo can be released) sometimes sticks on and is hard to remove. I would definitely repurchase, but I don't think that will be possible.. I went on the VS website, and they no longer have this offered.

Liquid -MAC - Mineralize Satinfinish SPF 15 Foundation [DISCONTINUED]

I love this foundation! The colour is just right (NC40) and it blends amazingly. The thing I love best, is that the coverage is minimal, but still good enough that it covers redness or a tired face. The slight shimmer (slight!) really perks up the face, too. I always buy pumps when I buy MAC foundations, for hygenic reasons, but also because it's so much more easier to dispense the product (and avoid wastage), so I'm very happy that MAC has added a pump to this foundation..What a great idea. TIP: Dust a light layer of MAC's Mineralize Skin Finish powder right over, and it looks like you just stepped out of a magazine.. The outcome is airbrushed perfection.

Liquid -MAC - Hyper Real SPF 15 Foundation [DISCONTINUED]

MAC really hit the jackpot with Hyper Real. It's an absolutely gorgeous foundation that gives you almost an airbrushed look. The shimmer may put off some people, but in photographs amazingly andgreat for nighttime. I took off one star, because my skin got kind of crazy a few weeks after I started using it (and I never have problems with my skin) so I limit myself to using this just once in awhile. I also recommend you purchase a pump while buying this product, because it's much easier to dispense.

What a gorgeous colour! I know this is LE, and I'm sad, because I really love it! I bought this as soon as it was released, and I use it almost daily, and I still have a ton left. The shade is perfect and very complementary for my NC40 skintone. It's a warm pink w/ gold veining. I dust a light layer over my cheekbones, and it's easy to intensify with a couple more layers.. I love the versatility of this product. I would repurchase, but since it's an LE, it won't be available.

Blush -MAC - Blushcreme - Laid Back

I really like this blush. When I favour a more lively look, I turn to this. It's a beautiful deep red, that can look very intimidating in the pan, but definitely not once blended into your skin. My skintone is NC40 for reference, and I think it's extremely flattering. I would even recommend this to fair skinned individuals, because once blended, it can look gorgeous and provide a flushed look. It can be easy to overdo it with this one, so go light & the key is to blend, blend, blend! I will definitely repurchase.

Blush -MAC - Blushcreme Pleasureful

I tend to favour apricot and peach colours for my NC40 skintone, and this is perfect. It's a nice peachy shade with just enough pink to flatter the complexion. I love the versatility of a creme blush, because it melts right into the skin with minimal effort. This is for my more "natural" days. I would definitely repurchase and recommend this to all, since it's a universally flattering colour.

I recently found this in my makeup stash, and I absolutely adore this blush. I don't know why I even forgot about it! My shade is NC40, and it looks amazing with a light hand. It does have shimmer, but it's not obnoxious. Will definitely repurchase.
