Toners -Simple - Soothing Skin Toner
PhiaLove627 6/15/2013 1:02:00 PM
I have been through a couple of toners and all of them either: a. dried me out; b. made me irritated; or c. both. This one has been my HG lately because it is the ONLY toner that removes all extra makeup or dirt or what have you that gets in my pores WITHOUT doing either or both of those things. It doesn't smell chemically, hydrates, and makes you feel fresh & clean. I'm really really happy with this product and hope to try out more simple products in the future! Definitely check this out if you have sensitive (works for dry, combo, and oily) skin that needs a little bit of extra cleaning! Good for acne too.

Concealers -Bobbi Brown - Creamy Concealer
PhiaLove627 12/13/2012 1:29:00 PM
Okay I'm gonna make this short and sweet: Packaging- I have the old packaging, which sucks, but the new packaging looks so much better. The old one comes with a loose powder that is good, but it gets EVERYWHERE. The new one seems to have a pressed one, so I will have to update if I try it. Quality- Let me say that I love Bobbi Brown. The corrector is amazing. This is not. I do not have oily skin but this slid off my face while at the same time, drying it. So confusing!! I just think that you could find a cheaper concealer that is better quality and less expensive. I don't recommend.

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Coralista

This product is just perfect!:) It looks good on pale, medium, and some dark skin tones! I think it goes with any skin tone (warm or cool) and adds a wonderful warmth to your face. It has a slight floral smell, but it does not irritate sensitive skin (I have incredibly sensitive skin.) It also doesn't dry out your face and adds a nice glow. It is a powder so it oily skin's will love this as well as dry skin. It is kinda expensive, but it is so unique to me and flatters so well, giving you a healthy glow:) I really recommend this:)

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder
PhiaLove627 12/13/2012 1:17:00 PM
I feel bad about writing a bad review because honestly, I think I might've gotten a defective one, but still, it was pretty bad. I remember buying this product when I first started makeup and I thought it was pretty good! Nice matte finish but not drying. So I picked up another one. NO BUENO. It oxidized in the pan, turning from it's usual almost translucent shade to almost bright orange! IT WAS WEIRD. I had to scrape off a couple of layers of product to get back to the original shade and then it was all back to normal. So, yeah. Once I finish with this, I think I'm gonna go try the Rimmel Stay Matte powder.

Shampoo -Unlisted Brand - Nizoral AD Shampoo
PhiaLove627 12/10/2012 5:07:00 PM
I have a secret: I have dandruff. When you're a redhead, most everyone assumes that you have the most beautiful scalp the world has ever seen because, and according to my mother, "redhair is a cascading waterfall of autumn leaves and fire". But sadly, that is not so. It started when I was about 7 or 8, so I've had this problem for a long time. This shampoo is the only thing that has made my scalp feel clean, fresh, and flake free. Don't use this everyday because it will dry your hair out. I don't wash my hair every day because I have medium thick hair that will frizz out of control if I do. I use this about two-three times a week to keep up. My only problem with this is that it will not cure your dandruff, but it will clear it up as long as you use it at least twice a week. Check this out!

Mascara -Christian Dior - DiorShow Mascara Waterproof

I love this mascara. It's perfection. I use the shade chesnut because I am redhead (natural auburn) with strawberry blonde eyelashes and black mascara looks so fake on me. I have extremely long eyelashes that are naturally curled, and there's a lot of them (Thank you Mom and Dad!). I'm really not trying to brag, but it's true. The thing is, they are as fair as can be (much like the rest of me

Polishes -Essie - Aruba Blue
PhiaLove627 12/10/2012 4:42:00 PM
This nail polish is reminds me of sexy, victoria's secret, royal blue, satin lingerie. That sounds insanely creepy, but that's what my brain came up with. Sorry if that offended you, but don't let me deter you away from this polish. It is GORGEOUS. It is opaque in 1 coat, but I like to add a second because I feel like if I don't, it won't be right. Two coats is generally good for all good quality nail polishes. Essie polishes aren't the best at chip-prevention, but hey, you're not buying this for wear and tear, you're wearing this for a statement. Be warned, people will notice your nails (in a good way of course!). Go check this out if you're a lover of blues and being noticed.

Polishes -Essie - Bikini So teeny
PhiaLove627 12/10/2012 4:33:00 PM
If you could marry a nail polish, this one would be my future husband. or wife. I don't know if nail polishes have genders. Anyway, this color is just.... oh my gosh amazing. I'm gonna be completely honest (like I always am;) ) and say that the formulation is not the best. When you first put a thin coat on, you look at your nails and think, "WTF did I just put on my nails?" BUT I assure you that after two-three coats, depending on how much you usually like, it will look like the gorgeous, pale, corn-flower baby blue you see in the bottle. It brightens any skin tone and adds a subtle tan illusion to your skin (for me, this was like angels singing from the heavens because I am as pale as it gets). The only reason this product doesn't get five sexy lipsticks is because it looks awful with one coat (def not for lazy girls like me, but for the color it's worth it) and Essie's polishes generally chip away maybe three days on me. You should check this out because I haven't found a shade just quite like this yet. It ranges about $7-8 in the US.

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup
PhiaLove627 12/10/2012 4:17:00 PM
Sigh, I wanted to fall in love with this and run away to the Bahamas with the revlon colorstay foundation (normal/dry in ivory) but yeah. that didn't happen. Let me start by saying this is not a bad product, it's just not for my skin. If you have slightly dry but mostly normal skin with a couple of pimples and redness here and there, you might not like this. For me, the color is just no bueno. It's super pink and a shade to dark for me. I tried the shade above, which is more yellowy and it was waaaay too dark. When you're the fairest of fair, drugstore foundations will never satisfy you. I think if you have oily, combo skin with either neutral or warm undertones, you'll love this! Sadly, when your skin is about a shade or two above pure white, you're gonna have a bad time. Also, it's a little too heavy for me, but I'm sure people who love fuller coverage will love this. One great thing is that it wears all day (from 9 am to 9 pm) without flaking or moving. So that's awesome! :) But sadly, this was not the one for this girl.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette
PhiaLove627 12/10/2012 4:07:00 PM
Let me start off by saying I have had the same urban decay naked palette for over two years. I would recommend this to anyone. Here are some pros and cons: Pros: -amazing quality eyeshadows, all of which are full sized -variety of colors for neutral every day looks & smokier night looks -lasts FOREVER -good quality brush -overall one of the best beauty items you will buy -Packaging is sleek and can fit into a suitcase or travel bag easily. Cons: -Sidecar and Creep can have fallout, sidecar being the most -is 50 bucks, so not cheap by any means. -Original naked palette packaging with suede can get dirty; gold foil letters will peal. Here is my review of the shadows: Virgin-frosty pale pink toned white. beautiful pigmentation, slightly frosty but can be blended out for a nice sheen for highlighting the eyes and/or cheekbone Sin-my FAVORITE shade. Shimmery pink-toned champagne. most beautiful pigmentation and glow to the skin. perfect for lid color and highlight. Naked-matte light warm brown. great pigmentation and perfect for contouring eyes. Sidecar-cool-toned shimmery taupe with TONS of silver glitter. this is a beautiful shade but it will fall out all over your cheeks if you don't watch out. Buck-medium color warm slightly chocolate matte brown. Great for adding depth to eye looks, great pigmentation. can be used to contour darker skin tones. Half-baked-gorgeous bronze-toned gold. not too yellow or orange. most amazing pigmentation and sheen. Smog-sexy bronze with gold flecks. this color makes me think of sexy summer nights. beautiful pigmentation. Darkhorse-deep green-toned brown with flecks of gold, green,&slight red. this color will make green eyes pop! great for smoking liner and adding darkness to the eyes. toasted-rosey, shimmery brown. great pigmentation, nice lid shade for green eyes, but looks good on everyone. this can make your lids look irritated so be careful. Hustle- purple toned darkest brown with purple flecks throughout it. can be slightly dry at first, but then that seems to go away with use. great for those who want a purple look to their eyes without actually using purple. Creep-strange color, looks black with blue and silver glitter, but is actually a deep navy blue. I never use this shape except when I'm doing a smokier look. Great for those who want to use an eyeshadow for eyeliner with a kick. decent pigmentation. Gunmental-my least favorite color, but don't let that deter you. it is a very nice deep silvery grey with some nice silver shimmers. good pigmentation. Overall this palette is amazing. Some may be turned away by the price, but I guarantee, if you're a lover of neutral toned more natural looks, this maybe the only palette you use.

Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup
PhiaLove627 12/10/2012 11:58:00 AM
I think I bought a shade to dark for me, but I mix it with my skin 79 bb cream and it seems to work well. It is medium to full coverage, and has a natural luminous finish. I think combination skin could use this, but oily skin may not enjoy the dewiness. It depends on the finish you like. Personally, my skin is more normal-dry so I really love this on days where I need an extra oomph to my complexion. The pump is also awesome, I wish that more drugstore foundations would come with a pump! My only critique is that the I'm not a huge fan of how l'oreal organizes their foundations. It confuses my brain, and even though I'm not warm toned or neutral toned, those seem to be the lightest, while the supposedly "cool" shades are more designed for darker skin. I have cool, blueish-pink based skin so I thought the cool shade might be more flattering but it turned out to be too dark. Oh well, once I finish it, I will pick up the lightest warm shade! :)

Lipstick -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Honey
PhiaLove627 12/10/2012 11:46:00 AM
The color of this can be natural or layered for a more muted rose lip. It is moisturizing and stains your lips for about five hours if you're eating, maybe more if you just kept your mouth shut! hahaha, but seriously, this product is very good and I would recommend it to anyone. I tried this on a couple of my friends who have deeper skin than me and it looks gorgeous on them as well. Also, quick side note, but when it does fade, it fades evenly.

Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Lovesick
PhiaLove627 12/10/2012 11:41:00 AM
I really like the color of this, and the other kissable balm stains are great. But this one is a little different. This was my first more brightly colored balm stains and I don't know if I'm going to purchase more. Originally, I was out to buy sweetheart and they were out, so I settled for lovesick and cherish. I was excited for this, seeing as it is a hot pink, which usually goes great with my pale skin. Though the color is gorgeous, the "balm" part of this is definitely not there. It was drying and creeped into dry spots I didn't even know I had! I tried with the richest of lip balms and it was still drying after a couple of hours. Idk if I got a bad one, but I won't be repurchasing.

BB Cream -Skin79 - Super+ BB Cream Pink Label
PhiaLove627 12/10/2012 11:33:00 AM
For me, this product is amazing! it evens out my skin and gets rid of any redness. it may not cover a huge pimple, but it will definitely even out any redness from blemishes. It's rich and creamy but not heavy feeling at all. If you have darker medium or deep skin, this product will not work for you. The grey tone helps even out paler, more cool toned skin, so if you're darker than NW25, you may have a harder time with this. Other than that, it is a wonderful product. I got mine off of amazon for under $10 and it is authentic.
