Blush -Maybelline - Dream Bouncy Blush in Rose Petal

I bought this blush a couple of months ago, but I just got around to trying it today. I'm disappointed because I tried applying it both with my fingers and a blush brush and nothing showed up on my cheeks! Back to the store it goes. I guess I will just stick with my usual CoverGirl blush in Rose Silk.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Eyeshadow Brush

I just bought this brush yesterday and used it for the first time today. The brush itself is good, but I took it out of my makeup bag later today only to find it in two pieces. The metal separated from the wood. Because of that, I will not repurchase. Even for $1, it shouldn't separate after the first use. I want to try the Studio C eyeshadow brush instead because I have a few other Studio brushes and the quality of those brushes is much better than the cheapo $1 brushes from E.L.F.

Liquid -Avon - Perfect Wear Extralasting Liquid Foundation SPF 15

I tried this foundation for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I have to say that this is the best foundation I've tried so far. It matches my skintone, it has medium coverage, it doesn't make my face shiny, and it's affordable when it's on sale. Unfortunately, this was discontinued recently, so I'll have to find another foundation to use once I finish up the bottle I have now. If they ever bring this back, I will definitely repurchase!

Foundations -Cover Girl - Natureluxe Liquid Silk Foundation

Unlike other reviewers, I AM NOT a BzzAgent. However, I got a sample of this in the mail a couple of weeks ago in the shades Aspen and Maple. I used the Aspen shade and I gave my mom the Maple shade. At first, we both liked the foundation, so she bought some of it. She ended up not liking it after all, so she gave it to me. I don't really like it either. First of all, the shade she bought doesn't match my skin tone as well as I would like (Aspen matches, Maple doesn't). Second, it doesn't have enough coverage unless I put a lot on. Third, it made my face shiny and I had to touch it up with powder several times a day (I use Maybelline Dream Matte Powder). Finally, it's expensive for a drugstore foundation. I really wanted to like this, but it's not for me. The search for the perfect foundation continues.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Spoiled Brat

I bought this eyeshadow on Friday and tried it for the first time today. For $3, I wasn't expecting much. I applied the fuschia color to the eyelid, the black color in the crease, and the silver color on the browbone as indicated. WHOA! This eyeshadow is so pigmented, maybe a little too pigmented, especially the silver shade. The look was way too dramatic, so I ended up using a makeup removing wipe to take all of the eyeshadow off and I reapplied the silver color on my eyelid and the black color in the crease and that worked out much better. I love the quality of this eyeshadow palette and the different looks that can be created by using it, so I would definitely repurchase this.

I like this brush a lot. I've been using it for several months and I haven't had any problems with it. The quality of the brush is surprisingly good considering the fact that I only paid $3 for it. I will definitely repurchase this (but I don't think I will need to for a long time).

Concealers -Maybelline - Cover Stick

This concealer is ok, not great. It has decent coverage, but I have to reapply it several times a day, which is annoying. I bought the shade Light Beige, which was a bit too light for my skin. Also, it has a tendency to get cakey and settle into fine lines. I probably won't repurchase this.

Blush -E.L.F. - Mineral Blush in Rose

I decided to try this blush because I read some good reviews on it, but I hate it. I though it was going to be pink, but it was a bright red instead and it made me look like a clown. I might try a different shade, but I will not be repurchasing this particular shade.

Styling Products -Unlisted Brand - FX Special Effects Silk Drops

I was using Biosilk for a while, but I ran out and I couldn't afford to buy another bottle of it, so I decided to try the Fx Silk Drops instead because it had good reviews on here. I'm glad I did. This stuff works just as well, if not better than Biosilk and it's a lot cheaper, too. The only things that I don't like are the smell and the packaging. The bottle dispenses more product than you need, so you need to be careful when using this. I now have another bottle of Biosilk thanks to my aunt, so I will use that instead, but if you can't afford Biosilk, buy the Fx Silk Drops.

Conditioner -Dove - Frizz Control Therapy

I bought this conditioner because it was on sale for $2.39 at CVS and I was hoping my hair would look less frizzy. This conditioner is below average and it doesn't really reduce the frizz or smooth my hair at all. It doesn't even detangle my hair that well. I will not be repurchasing this.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Walking on Eggshells

I love this eyeshadow trio! The colors are so pretty and pigmented and shimmery. With most eyeshadows, I have to put on at least 2 layers for it to show up, but with this one, I only have to put on 1 layer except for the lightest shade, which I need to put 2 layers on because it's not as pigmented as the other 2 shades. It also stays on all day with minimal creasing, which is nice. The best part is the price---only $3. I would definitely repurchase this eyeshadow and maybe try the other shades, too.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Expert Wear - Browntones

I used this eyeshadow for about two weeks and I didn't like it that much. The colors were an ugly brown, not a nice brown and I prefer shimmery eyeshadows over matte ones like this one. Also, the eyeshadow creases throughout the day and you need to keep reapplying it, which is annoying. The worst part of all is that this costs $6 at CVS, which is expensive for a drugstore eyeshadow duo. The only things I really liked about this eyeshadow were the texture and the applicator it came with. I have found something better, so I would not repurchase this.
