I've been using castor oil every night on my eyelashes for about 3 months now (Give or take). My eyelashes were pretty stubby in the beginning of the school year, so they would be invisible without mascara. But just the other day my friends finally noticed how long my eyelashes have gotten! My bottom eyelashes are almost as long as my top ones. I apply the oil to my eyes every night with an old mascara wand & I make sure to get the roots/waterline because that's where the hair grows. I have experienced a lot of growth for length, but I haven't really seen much of a difference with thickness, but I really don't mind :) Also, it's not a miracle product. Your lashes won grow overnight, it took me about a month to see results, which is pretty good if you ask me! & castor oil is great for your eyes because its anti bacterial. I had a HUGE stye on my eye one day so I just put castor oil on it and went to sleep and it was gone! This is a great, cheap product if you want eyelash growth! :) P.S. I use jamaican black castor oil, but I think any castor oil will do.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Volume

I purchased this after watching a makeup tutorial on YouTube. This is my first waterproof mascara & my first mascara that isn't maybelline. Oh. My. Gosh. I LOVE this stuff. I have pretty short eyelashes & this fans them out to the point where they re almost to my eyebrows. The only problem I have with this product is that it bothers my contacts like crazy. Nobody told me waterproof mascara wasn't for contacts (then again, I never asked or read the package). I think I'll buy the normal version once I run out, though. I only use this for swimming, crying at the movies, etc. Also, the brush is pretty big. The first time I used it, I just jumped right into the application & jabbed myself in the eyes a few times. So, I've learned to take it nice & slow lol. I would recommend this to anybody! Forget maybelline, I'm jumping on the covergirl bandwagon :)

My boyfriend recommended this product to me, as we have the same hair type (3b-3c), & I loovvee this stuff. I hate the shampoo & conditioner, but this defines my curls like no other & leaves them soft & bouncy. It does pretty good with keeping frizz down, which is a big plus for me. The scent is divine. It's a little strong, but it wears away after about 20 minutes. If you read the package it is actually a leave in conditioner, so I use this when I straighten my hair as well. I also love that this comes in a pump. My hair is almost to my shoulders & 1 pump & 1/2 is perfect. I would recommend this product to anybody with really curly hair!

Conditioner -Unlisted Brand - One 'n Only - Argan Oil Moisture Repair Conditioner

I was really dissapointed with this conditioner. It was known as a "miracle worker", but...this did nothing for my hair. I have naturally curly, 4b-4c, hair. It's pretty damaged, and gets dry really easily. I was expecting this product to moisturize my hair and soften it up. It did neither. I'm almost done with the bottle (it's been a few weeks) & my hair feels the same, of all things it frizzes it up like crazy! Also, the price isn't that good...keep in mind, I'm in highschool with no job, sooooo this was a waste. It doesn't have ANY slip what so ever, which is a no no for curly hair. I would not reccomend this for any girl with curly hair. The only thing good about this product is that it smells heavenly. It has a strong, husky (kinda sexy) kind of cent, lol I love it.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express Colossal Cat Eyes

I LOVE this mascara. If you do not know how to use the brush, you will NOT like this product. It is a different brush that most people aren't used to, I didn't even get the hang of it until the 3rd week, maybe 4th. I have no idea what other people are doing to apply this but you have to use it very carefully or else you'll get clumps (which is very rare for me) the cat eye look is possible, as the packaging promises, but once again, if you don't know how to work the brush, don't bother.

Hair -Clairol - herbal essences honey i'm strong shampoo and conditioner

I love this stuff! My stretched/relaxed hair usually tangles with any shampoo, but this one detangles so nicely! It doesn't leave my hair feeling dry or anything. The conditioner left my hair soft and silky and super manageable. I will definantly repurchase :) Update 10/3/12: OMG! This stuff must seriously be doing magic for my hair! Usually when I blow dry my hair to straighten it, it's brittle and just feels dry. After I got out the shower & blow dried my hair, it was very soft, but I didn't think anything of it. I just finished straightening my hair & wow....it has so much shine, body, and it actually looks healthy! Which is saying a LOT! (My hair is fried from heat and color) it looks like my hair got done professionally. You can't beat the price for a product this good. Deff repurchasing!
