I bought this awhile ago, and I love the way it looks when I use it on my curly hair, and though II would give it 5 stars, the smell is gross -- almost like a cleaning product type of smell. Still, it works so well and I got this for about five bucks at a local grocery store, which is kind of cheap for a Nexxus product; if I could find it at this price again, I would probably repurchase.
I bought this awhile ago, and I must say while the price was great and the pigmentation is pretty good, the color is not at all black and the packaging is really bad. The colour is more of a greyish charcoal color than it is black and the bottle it comes it is useless. Every time I open the bottle, little bits of shadow get all over the place and furthermore, you wind up having to carefully pour some out into the cap anyways in order to be able to get some on yoru eyeshadow brush. This product would be a million times better if they changed the packaging on this, but until then, I probably will not repurchase anymore colors in this line.
I got a sample vial of this from Sephora, and while I like that it's complex and unique, the scent has way too much licorice in it! To be fair, I am not particularly fond of licorice to begin with, but I did not expect the licorice to be this overwhelming. I suppose this scent might wear better on someone else, but it's no good on me.
I got this in a sample size from sephora, and I am extremely disappointed in this scent!! I love sweet and sugary scents, but this is sickening -- I spritzed on a little bit on my wrists and within 10 minutes I had to wash it off. Very nasty and cheap smelling but at least I didn't actually pay anything for this stuff.
Fragrances -Lavanila - Vanilla Lavender - HEALTHY FRAGRANCE
PeeWeeScaresMe 1/6/2011 9:52:00 PM
This scent was part of a 4 piece Lavanila set that I received for Christmas. Not only was this the worst scent of the kit, but one of the worst scents I have ever smelled. I could not smell any vanilla in this, just an overwhelming, cheap, cloying lavender scent unlike any lavendar I have ever smelled. Lavender is not my favorite scent to begin with, but I have tried many lavender scents that are much better, or at least much more wearable than this is.
I enjoy grapefruity scents, and it sounded so delicious having grapefruit and vanilla blended together. However, I just don't care for this scent -- it kind of reminds me of VS Pink which I feel is a bit cloying anyways, and it has that slight greeness that this scent seems to have. I really don't detect any vanilla in this fragrance, but it might just be because the grapefruit is more overpowering on my skin. I am giving this three lippies though because the scent is at least wearable and does have good lasting power.
I bought this back when it first came out and I have been using it almost daily since then. Even though the primer is sample sized I still have a little bit left; it's amazing how long this stuff lasts and it's my favorite of all primers that I have tried! I have used the UD primer prior to purchasing the palette and loved it, so I was happy that this was included. I lost the dual eyeliner that came with this a week after I purchased the palette, but the few times I did get to use it I did like it, though I remember it being a bit creamier than I expected. The palette itself is great -- there is only one or two colors that I don't care for, but the rest (especially Sin) are used quite often. UD shadows have the best pigmentation and they last forever and I am really glad I purchased this palette.
I got this as part of a 4 piece rollerball set and the Pure Vanilla was the best one of the four! It's a delicious, smoky vanilla scent and while it is a little sweet, its not foody or cakey. This is probably one of the best and sexiest vanilla scents I have smelled and I will definitely purchase a full sized bottle when the rollerball runs out.
I got this as a part of the Lip Saver Roll from Sephora and this was my favorite color of the three (the other two were Pomegrantate and Wild Rose). The texture is nice, not at all sticky; the color is a pinkish brown nude and there is a light and inoffensive scent. The amount of product in the pot will probably last awhile, but I feel that the Korres Lip Butters are over-hyped. It's just an average lip moisturizer with a bit of color in it and it has to be reapplied too often. Chapstick or Vaseline and a colored lip product over the top would give you the same results and would be cheaper too. I am just glad I got the whole set for $19.50 because these retail for $10 individually.
Lip Gloss -NYX - Lipgloss with Mega Shine Tea Rose
PeeWeeScaresMe 1/6/2011 7:04:00 PM
This is my favorite color of all the NYX glosses I have tried. Most fair-skinned people such as myself might avoid lilac-colored lip products but this seems to look great on all skintones. The pigmentation is very good I just wish the lasting power was a little bit better. Still, I am giving this a 5 because I love the way this looks and the price is so cheap!
I really like this shade, I just wish it was a litte bit more nude than pink-based. The pigmentation is good and the lasting power is fairly decent; the smell isn't the most wonderful in the world, but within a minute or two I don't even notce it.
Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Summer Vanillas - Lemon Vanilla mist
PeeWeeScaresMe 1/6/2011 6:54:00 PM
I love foody lemon scents so I picked up a small sized bottle of this during the SAS. Unlike some other viewers, I get no lemon cake from this. It smells like super sweet and tart lemon candy, and while it is an okay scent, I wish more of the vanilla came through. In the drydown it smells less tart, but it's just not what I expected. One reviewer said it was similar to the old Tutti Dolce Lemon Meringue scent but I don't find this to be true. It's closer to the Mark Lemon Sugar line, but I find that Mark LS smells better than this. If you want more of a lemon cake scent I recommend going through an etailer.
I got this as part of a giftset a while ago, and I must say that I think the scent is great. However, like many other reviewers have said, the staying power is very limited, but then again it's only a body mist so I wouldn't expect this to linger. If I layer it with the Cassis Rose Lotion I get a couple of hours of scent wear.
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Cassis Rose Body Lotion

I got a giftset with a bunch of Cassis Rose products a while ago so I figured it was about time I wrote a review. I normally get nauseated by rose scented products, but Cassis Rose smells like a smoother and slightly creamier rose scent that I expected it to. However, the only use for this product is layering the nice scent, because it does very little to moisturize.
I love this scent! I got a giftset with the full size mist, shower gel and body butter for $11 so I can't complain about the price. The scent is like a combination of the sugar note from Aquolina's Pink Sugar and sweet lemon. The products layer well together and the mist lasts has decent staying power. I just wish there was an EDT or EDP for the Lemon Sugar line, but I will continue to purchase from this line regardless.
