Eye Shadow -Unlisted Brand - Designer Brands- 48 Palette

This is a great palette and at only AU$15 you would be crazy not to go out and get one right now! I found it by accident and could not say no! there is a great range of colors from neutrals to brights and a variety of shimmer and matte. All the colors glide on easily and last ages, in fact the hot pink that I smeared on my hand 2 hours ago has not come off even with excessive rubbing and cooking dinner (I'm a bit lazy so haven't managed to reach for the make up remover yet!) I don't think anyone will be disappointed with this palette!

Beautiful color and nice texture! however, at AU$33 I won't be buying again, plenty of other cheaper lippies out there with even better staying power!

Stick -Napoleon Perdis - Stick Foundation
rated 4 of 5

This isn't my everyday foundation as I dare say it would probably do some damage if it were, the formula is quite thick and heavy, however the coverage is excellent so it is my bad skin day foundation, also good for going out because I know it will last! You absolutely positively need a good brush for this one though because of the texture, a brush gives the best application NOT YOUR FINGERS!

Eyeliner -Napoleon Perdis - China Doll Gel Eyeliner in Equinox (black)

This product does dry up, so what you have to do is take the end of your brush, jam it in there and mix it. Trust me it works! mine has been going for 8 months now! oh, and did I mention how awesome it is?!

Mascara -Napoleon Perdis - Long Double Black Mascara

very disappointed with this, moral of the story; don't buy mascara from a cosmetics counter where the girl serving you has thick, clumped crusty lashes! I'm not sure what I was thinking! I love everything Napoleon but this just didn't cut it! what a waste...

Mascara -Chi Chi - Lash Magic Mascara

surprisingly amazing! this is excellent mascara, I have it in black and it has the most unusual rubber brush but it works so well and is really good for bottom lashes. Long lasting too, no panda eyes at the end of the night!

Makeup Brushes -Unlisted Brand - Manicare - Artiste Stippling Brush 17

I'm disappointed that not everyone has had a good experience with this brush! I find it to be an excellent dupe of the MAC skunk brush but for literally a quarter of the price! I found mine shed a little bit when I first washed it but it's great now! although I don't use it for liquid foundation, only to finish off my make up with some MAC fix+ or some skinfinsh. All in all a great product, wish it wasn't made of animal hair though, kinda creeps me out! much prefer taklon brushes!

Skincare - Face -MAC - Fix+
rated 5 of 5

I use this everyday. Mostly I spray it on my stippling brush to give the once over as the finishing touch for my face routine, I also use it to refresh my face and to foil my pigments, I have also been told that this stuff detangles your hair (but I have hair down to my waist and frankly it would make a very expensive hair detangler!) my question is- is there anything this stuff doesn't do? an absolute must for cosmetic obsessors such as myself!

Eye Shadow -Inglot - Freedom System Palette
rated 5 of 5
PeacockPatty 3/16/2010 3:53:00 AM

I have the 5 one with a small selection of the shadows I use most for on the run and most recently a 10 palette with a mixture of matte and shimmer oranges, bronzes and whites (I was in the mood for them when I bought them) The 10 palette cost me AU$85 so essentially that's $8.50 a shadow and they are massive! I think the quality and value kicks MAC in the bum (although I may get flamed for saying so) long lasting, beautiful pigments, and so many damn colors to choose from, you will need to set a whole day aside just to put together a 10 palette If you are thinking about it I promise you will not be disappointed!

Palettes -Urban Decay - Book of Shadows - Alice in Wonderland [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
PeacockPatty 3/16/2010 3:48:00 AM

I love this palette as some one who has never owned UD eyeshadow and would have thought that a Book of Shadows was some kind of freaky pagan ritualistic spell book. So when I got the opportunity to find out what all the fuss was about I obliged and bought myself one on ebay. The shadows are stunning, probably not work appropriate because there is some major glitter happening here but great for going out or mardi gras and stuff... all in all I love this palette and as I won't be using it everyday, I won't be buying one again as this will probably last a really long time!

These just came in the post today and oh my! (heart!) Some one distribute UD here pleeeeeeeeeeaaseee!!!!!

Pressed Powders -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish Natural - Medium Dark
rated 5 of 5
PeacockPatty 3/16/2010 3:39:00 AM

since I have just finished my 3rd compact I thought it was best to write a little bit about it. I have medium plus which works beautifully on my NC25 blemish prone skin, it also counteracts my shiney-ness that happens when you live in the driest state in the world and it gets to 46 degrees (Celsius) in summer. Needless to say, this stuff is rad.

Polishes -Unlisted Brand - Ulta3
rated 4 of 5
PeacockPatty 3/15/2010 6:57:00 AM

How are more people not reviewing and loving this nail polish?! If you live in australia go now to your nearest Terry white and for the same price of one OPI polish you can literally buy 10 of these little beauties ( and you won't be stuck for choice with so many colors to choose from!) So down to the basics, the formula dries well, mush less chipping then most of my expensive polishes and the formula is fairly thick only requiring two coats if that. I also live how there is a variety of matte (I finally found matte grey!) pearly and shimmer. I going back for more very shortly!

Lotions/ Creams -Palmers - Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula
rated 4 of 5
PeacockPatty 3/15/2010 6:45:00 AM

I have spent hundreds on moisturizer from the high end to to all natural stuff etc etc but I always come back to this. I use it mostly on hard skin such as heels and elbows and every now and then I dowse myself in it because it is cheap and luxurious and I can! I love love love the olive butter as well. You just can't beat this stuff!

Lip Gloss -Unlisted Brand - Savvy

Who wants Clinique color surge lipgloss or Lancome Juicy tubes in different packaging for $3 a pop? Hells yes you do! I use all three and I cannot for the life of me tell the difference! This gloss comes in beautiful colors, smells good stays alright isn't sticky and has no nasty ingredients, oh, and did I mention IT'S ONLY $3!!? yep, well it is. You will find these at priceline on a stand that says 'all products $3' so I don't know how long they will be around for (the $3 ones in the tubes) but goodness me they rock!
