This junk causes excessive thinning!!! I damn near go into cardiac arrest every time I shampoo my hair since it looks like half my hair is in the shower after I stopped using this foolishness! It made my super thick course hair very soft so I thought this was a go product-- after a month of using and using correctly I noticed my hair was thinning... I was only taking my same BC pills that I had been taking for over 2 yrs so it wasn't the BC pills... I wasn't taking no other meds-- I was like I think this mess is thinning my hair and stopped using and sure enough did some review searching outside of makeup alley and what do you know - I'm only one of many thin haired victims- my hair has always been thick and this crap for lack of harsher word* has thinned my out so bad that I am on triple loads of biotin / prenatal vitamins / and in search of nothing less than a miracle. I am looking to sue- it is that bad... So for all you wen users that love it and all you Wen employees good luck cause this is a nothing but a scamming hair thinning epidemic... Oh I won't waste my or your time in writing about the scamming hassle to cancel this BS or get money back after they refuse to cancel your subscription... Yeah, subscription like a damn magazine or something... Operation hair grow back in full effect!!!

Gels/Soaps -Nubian Heritage - Lemongrass and Tea Tree Soap

THis is a great product for my oily acne-prone hormonal pollen allegeric type skin... I use the Lemongrass & Tea tree on my face and the NH B;ack soap on my body.... the lemongrass bar is great for cleaning clogged pores (strinks them in one wash without a mask) and soothing irritated skin. I always buy it randomly as in when I run out I don't have it readily available - I saidI would get diligent and keep it on stock -also in the summer it helps wash away the Georgia humidity and chicken grease-looking oil from my face without stripping it and it suppress the inflammed "bumps" on my face in an overnight instant... which helps for date night;). It also brightens my comlexion with using any type of bleachers. The price that I have found ranges from $2.99 to $4.99 - I only go to the Beauty supply stores to get it at a less expensive price and stay away from those lil kiosks where the price is higher for a $2 soap. I'm about to start the accutane treatment to hopefully treat the internal aspect of my acne so I'm waiting to see if this will be too harsh - I also use Ceravu cleanser which is good for about two weeks at a time then it starts showing no effects...

Let me start by saying all dermaquest products are pricey! I used the B5 serum as a moisturizer for about a month on and off - NOt sure if I saw any affects - so if any one has any good results from this product I can give away my stash!!

good and cheap conditioner I use when I leave conditioner in my to workout... I keep this and the suave clarifying shampoo on hand - (just part of being a product junkie)

great for removing that chicken-grease look for the moment... I definitely keep this in my "go-every-where bag" and I gives it the clean polished look until the oil starts again!

THis is the only mask the truly shrinks my pores... this has to be the strongest mask on the market,... my kid cousin disobediently slapped this on her face and it took her eyebrow off... she still suffers from the missing eyebrow after 10 some yrs later... anyway that's how strong it is in pulling out the gunk.... I am a fan for life - I have used other stuff when I'm on my "expensive chic" moments.... but I always go back to this one.

This product is awesome... I immediately see a difference when I treat my hair with it - I have been experimenting with different conditioner treatments and sleeping in them for "operation- healthy hair & operation hair-grow-back" and this is the foundation of all those "operation treatments" I use... My hair has the bouncing and behaving silk effect when I use this- however you have to be careful not to use it too often... I try to use it once every 2-3 months if I being disciplined... Smell - death Potency- intense Results - Awesome -

This was such a great "steal" and literally a "steal"! My mom is a product junkie and she never uses any of the great things so I when I make my way home I steal what I can... so good for me some bad! and this one was great... I use it on my feet and they become baby soft - its great as an out-the-shower cream!. I also use it for a hand treatment with gloves - I just hope I don't have to buy my own because it "smells" expensive!

Hair -Nioxin - Thinning Hair System 4 (coloured hair)

I gave this a 4 overall rating because I used this system once before with the follicle booster and was on biotin and properly taking care of my hair.... this was a few yrs ago... now I'm on the system 4 again with Biotin 10,000 mcg and hoping this product will show me favor on what I think is thinning hair. So I am 3 weeks into this treatment again along with the Argan Oil conditioner and a protein leave-in condition with the Biotin... My edges are destroyed compliments of micro-braids on already stressed edges (will NEVER do micro-braids again). Nioxin pls don't fail my edges!!

Primer/ Corrector -Clinique - Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector

THis is another goodie from Clinique that helps with my oily skin and closes the pores... I do get concerned that it clogs my pores though - I try to use it when I'm doing date/ party night. No breakouts so that is a plus for me... CLinique is really ahead of the game with this product as all others I have tried just burned and broke me out.

This product is not for acne of the face... as it is too harsh - if you are lucky to use it on your face by all means clear that face acne! But this stuff will clear the "appearence" of stretch marks and body scars and dry up body acne... hair bumps too... just make sure you heavily moisturize. The pricing is defintely not consistent - those little kiosks that sells the soaps are too expensive (for me)!

Is this product supposed to clear ash-effect??? B/c it did nothing for my dry ashy look... just made the ash appear shimmery! Will not buy it again but one of siblings swears by it....

Cleansers -Dermalogica - PreCleanse

As a product junkie - I have this complete line in my stash - I tried this a precleanse about a yr ago and it worked great... low & behold I decided to try it again this yr and I was rushed to the derm on an emergency visit!! My face was completely swollen - I tried to do process of elimination and thought it may have been my birth control pills by Cryselle... then after the hydrocortisone and Acanya (clindamycin) cream the flare up went away... keep in mind this was around the start of this new brand of BC. So I tried the precleanse again and H/E/L/L broke loose on my skin again - so even if its not this product and its the BC's, I am eliminating both from my usage... not sure if this caused the havoc on my face or not but I'm doing an allergy test for the precleanse, BC, and everything else I ever used on my face and body next week... thank goodness for insurance! So if its ruled that it wasnt the precleanse and I take a chance to try it again - I will write another review.

Conditioner -Pantene - Relaxed and Natural Breakage Defense

I have been a fan of Pantene I think since 1993 and this has been sent from the HG for my siblings and me! We love it - when my hair has been thru H.E.L.L. from trying all the extension styles and stuff I use this to get it back in shape - I have reached out and tried other lines but I always go back to the product - also the conditioner I think is perfect for all the heat styling since it coats your hair- which some may not like; but after a good clarifying shampoo the coating is removed. It also serves as a deep conditioning mask too - I love the smell and the bouncing & behaving effect it gives my hair! Now I am on "operation-hair-grow-back" so I am experimenting with Biotin pills, argan oil conditioner by Peter Coppoala, end trimming every 6-weeks, hot oil treatments, any other herbal oil treatment I come across on MUA, and no heat styling in between shampoos. Hopefully my hair will get back to my desired length and I can just maintain with my lovely Pantene!

Skincare - Face -Unlisted Brand - Accutane (by prescription)

I am considering going back on Accutane - I tried it twice in the early 2000's and stopped.... the side effects I experienced the first full course were dry lips, and toxins brought to the fore front. I had these large cysts durign the 1st week and some peeling but my complexion was beautiful... It dried me out but I was still left with the oily look and not the matte look that I was going for... the cyst dried up but as soon as one would dry up another would appear and they appeared on my forehead (dead smack center) - I had to pile on neosporin on my lips because of the dryness.... Can't remember the dosage but I'm pretty sure it was quite high considering the oily, wet look I had on skin when I met with my derm. The 2nd course was fairly low- I do remember that & I dodn't finish the course because I just didn't want to deal with the drying again after my lips were never right again! Now I am considering having kids and want to try this as a last resort again because I can't control my skin anymore - I have my appt w/ the derm next week so hopefully they will give me a treatment and tell me once the treatment is over I can "then" go and pop out these HEALTHY babies... will write another review one I'm into the treatment if they decide it is the best course for me.
