Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24-7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero

I played some with a dark waterline look. But let go of it, because the jordana pencil I had was not working, too waxy or something. I bought the UD smoked 24/7 set for christmas gift to myself. "ZERO" is now my fave for the dramatic lined effect!! Love it. It is black, seriously: not greyish or blue-toned. After a couple hours, it drops a little to the top of bottom lashes. But I don't mind it. It is a high end $ pencil, in full size. However, I consider it fine b/c it lasts for months. Why not try it at Ulta when ferreting out your go-to black liner? I'd recommend it to friends.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette

This is natural and glammy both! I have recommended this to two women as a great makeup collection staple. It was my first h.e. pallette, and 1st UD item...it really convinced me to consider the "h.e. investment" in all my makeup purchases! I bought it last July, and it looks close to new, because the shadows are so pigmented, a "little dab'll do ya". The packaging is lovely and important, because I have my products around for so long...each needs have functional and attractive container. (It would be better with a magnet close, for some extra security.) I sanitized it today: with 90% alcohol in a fine spray bottle. Dried quick; I had to wipe down the cardboard though. That UD gave the brush and primer freebies was awesome too, b/c UDPP is terrific! (Look up how to de-pot it though.) TRY the shadow with a damp (h2o) brush for more fun with the colors. My favorite colors are: sidecar, halfbaked, toasted, and buck (matte). I gave it a 3 for price: it is NOT up there like some department lines. Also, I factor the "accessibility" into the $, and Urban Decay is accessible and approachable. :-) (For example, the Clarins counter felt SO foreign to me!) I've gone on to buy 24/4 pencils and the UD Nskin from this intial Naked palette purchase. Highly recommend as an investment or gift. UD Naked 1 will be around your makeup collection for months/years, like a comfortable pair of jeans that you love.

Liquid -Urban Decay - Naked Skin

This was my first h.e. foundation. My shade is 1.0 I have been happy with it. I found that it works best with a primer. I apply it with a brush. It's a 'wet' formula, that I have to let 'cook' on the skin before applying concealer or blush. I now mix it with another foundation to get the right shade, because the UD is a little yellow for me. (My skin tone is neutral to cool.) I've used it for over two months, a little bit does go a long way. The pump bottle is a great design: easy to get the right amount, and wipes clean. At christmas time is was hard to find, 1.0 was sold out around town, and on two websites. Given the right shopping discount and personal need, I'd purchase this again. I think Naked Skin is a great product from 2012. :-)

Other -Unlisted Brand - Baking Soda

I tried this for exfoliation, with warm water and my regular cleanser. My experience was favorable with the exfoliation, but after my face was red and irritated. Having combo acne-prone skin, baking soda dried my face in some areas. So I'll skip this for my face. What are really miss are the Japanese Scrubbing grains, from the Body Shop. That was an awesome product! It scrubbed and then turned kind of buttery and soothing.
