Highlighters -Guerlain - Les Meteorites Ball Powder Beige Chic 03

Well I finally bought this product in Chic Beige. I was in Grand Cayman and paid only $39U.S which i now know was a good deal. I wanted to get the Pink Fresh one but wasn't sure if these were overpriced or the same as in the states. (darn that's the bummer about duty free shopping while traveling)Anyways I am olive toned and this works more like a powder foundation not a highlighter. This did even out my skin tone, but other than that I've been a bit dissappointed as I dont see any of the peachy colors. Again I just bought this last week so I will update my review with any news. The package is good, Although for the price I would expect either a plastic pot or some type of metal would be very nice.
This is really a great blush. I've searched for something that brightens up my face without overdoing it. well, I've gotten SO many compliments while wearing this blush. It truely does luminate or give my face a glow. I gave it a 4 because I believe theres always room for improvement. However the price is a hands down win, only $3.50. The packaging could be better. Overall an excellent choice.
I finally tried this, and I was very disappointed. In fact the peppermint or some extract that is used was too strong for me and made my lips feel like they were on fire. I had to rush to the bathroom and wipe off the balm. I guess i would say if you have sensitive skin not to purchase this otherwise, i dont really know how it works as I wore it for less than 3 minutes. I was trying to keep it on thinking it could just be that way for the first few minutes but it was too painful. Would not purchase again.
I bought this a few weeks back after wanting it since i saw the commercial on T.V.months ago. I know, I know. So not that its a bad smell it's very youthful and fresh. It actually reminds me of those fantasy body sprays from the drugstore that i used to pick up in middle school. This doesnt have very good staying power either. I would not re-purchase this but at the same time its not so horrible that i want to take it back.(perhaps because of the memories) At any rate This product is VERY OVERATED imo. And the firm dkny used to market did their job very well. This scent is NOTHING SPECIAL. it was about 65 bucks and yes the bottle is rather difficult. They have a new RED apple, be delicious out but they didnt have an open tester so i have yet to smell that, but am tempted.
I bought my first one in Fuzzy Navel sometime last year. I loved it, it's a sheer orange that suites olive skin very well imo. I recently picked up some at the local walgreens as they were 40% off. I picked up Sea Breeze, Alabama Slammer, Strawberry Daiquiri, Planter's Punch, Bahama Mama- all of these ones seem to be light/summery- very fresh faced (pink/red/orange sheers) I would re-purchase in a heart beat. However I did pick up a few others that i wasnt too impressed with, these colors were brown/nude tones First there was Astro,Sky & Alpha, these all had sparkles in them and jus seemed to lack that "just kissed" juicy look imo, then the last was solar which is kinda a sheer brown- which was okay. This product GIVES OFF GREAT SHINE, and has yummy scents to accomadate their names. -Happy Glossings
Other -The Body Shop - Home Fragrance Oil - Cranberry

I picked this up a few nights back and decided to try it out this evening. I LOVE THIS SCENT! I dont know if i have been completely oblivious to the cranberry frangrance oil or if they just got this in. I've been using The Body Shop's Cranberry lotion, lip balm, shower gel, and body scrub for the past 3-4 years and barely noticed the cranberry oil. Anyways its soo sweet and reminds me of fall/Autumn. The other great thing about this oil is that it when you burn it, it really smells like whats in the bottle. You know how some oils smell great in the bottle but then they are diffent when you actually burn it, Well not this one. A GREAT BUy and will stock up since they only carry this during the x-mas season.
Lip Gloss -Prescriptives - Lippity Split in Snowcone

I tried this duo out a few years back and i loved the lighter shade. Kinda reminds me of a winter-y sheer gloss. Although I love the pinkish/nude/sheer color i am not fond of the deep chocolate brown- in fact i dont use that side at all. I recently saw this for $14 at "the color cosmetic company" a store that estee lauder owns-where they sell things slightly discounted. Anyhow i picked up another one even though these last awhile. and i will def. buy again when i run out.
Wow I can't believe this stuff is still around. I used this about 5/6 years ago and it worked wonders for me. I moved out and went to college and didn't have a rep but decided to review the product and see what others thought of it. My face hasn't acted up in a looong tie but lately I've been breaking out often. Anyway, I was sitting here writing and reading reviews and thought hrmmm. What worked for me before? Thats it I had a whole system that i used in the past from mary kay. So voila, i found it and will be REPURCHASING and seeing how my skin takes to. this
Fragrances -Oscar de la Renta - oscar de la renta intrusion

I picked this up at TJ Maxx for $15. I really liked the way it smells on me. It is not a "girly-girl" scent. But it doesnt smell at all like a man to me. In fact I would think that a woman with authority who has sex appeal would spray this on herself. It is Mature but not for granny, and theres something about it that is sooo alluring. However as other reviewers have noted it is not for Everyone. And I would buy this again.
When this scent first came out i was nuts about it and had to have it. I purchased it at sephora and was informed that they only made it in the 1.7 size.(so I dunno where some reviewers are getting these in "2.5") So anyways, it Is pricy for the amount. I paid $85 for a 1.7 and the bottle is elegant however it is not practical at all. Its like picking up a brick.(not good to travel with) But all in all it is a wonderful, classy, yet delicate scent. I would purchase again.
The best word to describe this scent is "Fresh". It makes me feel soo clean and alive. It has this crisp very energetic vibe to it. The packaging is very creative,(The pink reminds me of some trendy high-tech japanese product) yet BEWARE, if you throw it into your purse/bag or anyplace it can be turned upside down it WILL SPILL. Once you see the bottle enclosed in the larger plastic, "boxy" shaped bottle you will know exactly what i mean. Also, I have noticed people complaining about the price. First of all it is worth it and Secondly In California and parts of the WestCoast you can sometimes find this at discount stores. I recently picked up a few bottles at "Ross" for $29 and have bought the shower Gel at "Marshalls" for $8. I would buy this product again.
I received Chance as a gift from my fiance and really really love it. It smells very similar to Carolina by C. Herrera. I purchased C.H. after I received Chance and thought Hrmmm. maybe i should take Carolina back because it smells sooo much like Chance. I used the two on seperate occasions and realized that Carolina is much "Lighter". Although I like both I would have to go with Chance because it's bolder and seems to resonate an aroma of "Power" but in a very sensual feminine way. Both are great but Chance is much more dominating.
I tried this lip gloss in Honey about five years ago and have been using it ever since. The scent is not so great however, the shine this lip gloss produces is immaculate! In my opinion this would best compliment olive/tanned/caramel/brown/etc. skin tones. The golden specks are very subtle yet create a marvelous "Glow" on your lips. I cannot tell you how many times i have been complimented while wearing this gloss. The staying power is weak but for $1, its a no- brainer. Remember to stock up whenever you see it because often times I have trouble finding it. The bad things about this product are that if you have long hair, it may stick onto your lips and drag over your cheeks. The packaging is awful, no safty seal, but if your alive in today's world you're at risk anyway. The last is that you do have to apply A LOT to get the glow I am talking about but hey, it's worth it if you want gorgeous lips. HIGHLy Recommend
