Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Infallible Gel Lacquer Liner in Blackest Black

Great product! I don't tend to wear black liquid or gel liner because it feels to bold or stark next to my pale skin. Instead, I usually use a black pencil I can smudge or a dark grey gel liner. But, sometimes I want a bold look. So, after loving this gel liner in Dark Slate, I purchased Blackest Black. It's a nice really dark black. It doesn't budge or flake on me. It applies smoothly and evenly. I certainly don't use this one as often as the my other one but, it's a great product to have on hand. I recommend it to anyone who likes to wear black gel or liquid liner.
Moisturizers -Ponds - Ponds Nourishing Moisturizing Cream

Prologue: I would normally say my skin is oily, but my skin has become more combination over the last few years. This winter, however, my skin had disintegrated into doing what ever the hell it wants. Meaning my normally oily/combination skin was sahara dry and I had no clue how to take care of it. All winter long my face has peeled and flaked like I'm sunburned. My normal moisturizers were not cutting it. So, out of desperation, I went to Target and looked at just about every moisturizer they had in stock. I've never had dry skin before so I didn't want to spend a lot of money trying out a moisturizer that might not work. Finally, I found the little ponds travel size moisturizers and picked this one out. Review: I really, really like this moisturizer! There is a faint herbal smell but it doesn't bother me. When I put it on it spreads really easily and feels like it's sinking in fast. My skin has not broken out because of using it. However, I only use it at night, because my skin will get really oily a few hours after putting this on. The best part is that my skin feels soft and smooth. The peeling and flaking has gone away. I doubt I'll need something this heavy in the summer, but next winter I'll definitely go back to using this product. The only negative I can think of it that it comes in a tub instead of a pump or a tube. Other than that, I'm very happy with my skin's turn around.
Frankly, I can understand why some people hate this product - I wouldn't want a foundation that made my face sparkle, either. Based on reviews, I've specifically looked at my face in direct sunlight and I don't really see any sparkles. I do see it a little on the back of my hand and I do see it in my bottle - but it doesn't translate to my face. I do cut this with some moisturizer and I lightly powder over it. Maybe those actions cut the sparkle? That being said I'll get on with the rest of my review. For reference, I'm an NW15-20, Chanel BR12-22, Laura Mercier Tender Rose. I wear the shade 001 Ivory. I love that there is a shade that fits my pale, pale skin in the winter. Also, it's a cool pale - score! No looking jaundiced for me! I'm guessing that I'd move up to the shade Shell in the summer, but in the winter Ivory is perfect. At full strength, I'd say it's a light to medium coverage foundation. As I've said before, I sheer this out with moisturizer. I don't feel this sitting on my skin, which I love. I also like that it doesn't go terribly oily on me. I still have to blot, but I don't end up looking like I've slopped crisco on my skin. I've also worn this on days I've gone to the gym and it's held up well. I find this a good foundation for running errands and weekends. I would not wear this to a major event or when I need my makeup to last forever. But that's just me. Basically, this isn't my HG foundation, but it is a nice staple of my makeup bag. I will be purchasing this shade again in the future.
Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Infallible Gel Lacquer Liner in Dark Slate

I've used gel eyeliner in the past and I didn't like it. So, when I decided to try it again, I wasn't willing to spend high end prices. I decided to purchase this one based on the rave reviews here. Boy was everyone right - this stuff is amazing! Unlike the ones I've tried in the past, this applies smoothly and easily. Also, I love this color. It looks gross in the pot, like concrete, but on my eyes it's a nice soft black. It's great because I find black liquid and gel liner to be way too harsh on me. I think it might dry up before I use the whole pot, but either way I'll buy it again.
I've been using this shampoo for the last six months and I love it. I have to start by saying I don't use it every shampoo, but I use it at least 50-60% of the time. This leaves my hair feeling healthy and soft. Sometimes, I don't even bother with conditioner and my hair still feels soft when dry. I find this pretty amazing because I dye my hair regularly. I also haven't had any problems with my hair being oily or limp after using it. I like the herbal smell, but I could definitely see it turning off some people. Overall, I find it a good product that, at least for me, does what it claims.
I'm fair skinned with a cool undertone. I find most bronzers either too dark, too orange, too shimmery or a combination of the three. However, this bronzer is none of those things. It looks natural on me. I can swipe it on the edges of my face for contour or over my high points to look like I've had a little color. I don't even buy other bronzers anymore. There's no reason to when this is all I need.
I have this in Tender Rose and I'm an NW 15-20. I think this is a good color match. Overall, I like this powder foundation. It has good coverage and it lasts all day. I don't like how heavy and tight my skin can feel if I've applied too much. That's fine though because I've learned when to stop buffing more on. I have oily skin and I have to blot my t-zone at midday. But, it doesn't make me crazy greasy or anything. I will buy it again because I like having a powder foundation for days when I'm to lazy to apply liquid. I also really like taking this when I travel because it's more convenient.
I purchased this after I ran out of Spiked. It's a medium cool taupey color. I love the color because it lacks warm tones and looks very natural on me. For reference, I have medium brown hair and my eyebrows are black. I switched to this over Spiked, even though Spiked matched my natural brow color better, because I found the overall look too dark for my pale skin. Lingering has a softer effect and I just love it. The formula is pretty great. It's not too waxy and the color glides on smoothly. I also love how tiny the tip is because it helps apply the product precisely. The cons would be the ridiculous price and the small amount of product you get for that price. But, I can't resist as it's an HG product for me.
Shampoo -L'Oreal - EverCreme Cleansing Conditioner

I've really debated what score to give this product. I purchased this after I'd box colored my hair too many times and it was very damaged. I didn't have any problems with this causing my hair to be limp or oily. Instead, it worked as a nice gentle cleanser and my ends actually started looking better. So why the bad rating? The smell is atrocious! It's so strong and lasts until my next shampooing. This product made me feel like pig pen from the peanuts cartoon. Only the halo surrounding me wasn't dirt it was the awful smell of this cleanser. I kept trying to persevere because it seemed to be working on my hair. However, I stopped using it when I started getting headaches from the smell. So, while this cleanser is actually a decent product for my hair, I can't give something I'm unable to use with out feeling sick a higher score.
I'm cool toned and pretty pale. Chanel hasn't always had foundations that were cool enough for me so I love this range. I wear a BR12 (winter) and BR22 (summer). I'm a Mac NW15-20, Laura Mercier Tender Rose, Revlon Ivory and Shell. This is my HG foundation. It's lightweight and doesn't feel heavy on my skin (although I often cut it with a little moisturizer.) It doesn't make my oily skin greasy. In fact, it's the only foundation I've ever worn without powdering that lasted all day. It just looks amazing on me. People often compliment my skin when I wear this product and that rarely happens with other foundations. The product is so good that I really don't mind the price.
I only purchased this to help get my mascara and eyeliner off. Instead, I found a really nice basic cleanser. It dissolves all my makeup, but I don't love it around my eyes. I have to rub the oil in for my mascara to dissolve and it clouds up my eyes if it seeps in. Still, if I don't use a separate eye makeup remover, this cleanser will get the job done. This doesn't break me out and it helps balance the oil production of my face. Sometimes I will wash my face a second time with another cleanser, but often I use this by itself as my evening cleanser. I've already repurchased and will continue to in the future. Cleanser is one of those things where it can be great for one person and awful on another, but this works for me so I wanted to add a positive review.
I love this little gem. My eyeshadow has never creased while wearing this as a primer. I have oily lids and have to wear primer daily if I want my shadow to last more than an hour. I like that this is a cooler flesh tone. It makes a nice canvas for my shadows to go over. But, I never wear this as an eyeshadow alone - the color just wouldn't suit me. Lately, I've been having fun trying out other primers and they're nice. However, if I could only have one primer in my makeup bag, it would be Painterly hands down.
It's okay. It's quite waxy and stiff. I find that because it's so waxy the color does not apply smoothly. Also, the color medium brown is too warm for me. They shouldn't call it medium brown. It should have a name like chestnut. I will use this up by applying it in a thin layer then putting a darker powder over it. I figure the wax will help the powder last longer. I wouldn't turn someone off from buying this. I think for some people the forumla and color will be fine. However, I'll never purchase this again.
Moisturizers -Elizabeth Arden - Let There Be Light Radiant Skin Lotion

I love this lotion, and I've purchased bottle after bottle of it. However, I don't think this would be a great product for everyone. I don't really use this as a moisturizer. I don't find it moisturizing and alone on skin it leaves a weird mother of pearl look. Instead, I mix it with my liquid foundations to sheer them out and to add a little illumination. It's perfect for me because I find most foundations (and some tinted moisturizers) too heavy to wear comfortably. If I was buying this as a moisturizer I'd give it a horrible review, but added to my foundation it's one of the most important items in my makeup collection. It's never broken me out, either. Even thought it's "discontinued" I see it in TJ Maxx and Marshalls from time to time and stock up then. I'd be heartbroken if I couldn't find it at these discount stores.
