Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Whisper in Petal Rebel
PISALISA 5/18/2013 10:06:00 AM
This is the shade and formula that I've been searching for. Petal Rebel is the ultimate "my lips but better" lipstick. Even though it is a light blue-based pink, it is NOT opaque...and that is what I love about this shade! It's not at all frosty and is extremely comfortable on my lips. It's not greasy, sticky or heavy. This has become my go-to lippie because it imparts the prettiest pink glow on my lips.
Treatments (Eye) -Unlisted Brand - Lilash - Purified Eyelash Stimulator

I am comparing this product to Rapid Lash, since I have tried them both. Lilash is considerably more expensive than Rapid Lash. I noticed growth, but my lashes grew nowhere near as fast or long as Rapidlash. Lilash definitely irritated my lash line and stung horribly when I got some in my eye. Don't get me wrong...it works. But why spend more than twice the $$$ on such a harsh product, which also gives mediocre results? I'll stick to my Rapid Lash!
Treatments (Eye) -Promaxyl - Eyelash Renewal serum Rapidlash

Listen up, ladies...this product is AMAZING! I was very hesitant to spend $30 on an eyelash growth serum because I was skeptical of it's claims. I can tell you, with 100% certainty, this serum has at least DOUBLED the length of my natural eyelashes. It's incredibly easy to use...just a swipe of the brush on each lash line, before going to bed. I started noticing a difference in length after about 1 1/2 weeks. The full results were noticeable after about 4 weeks. I would have never believed that longer lashes would increase the attractiveness of a person's face this much. I wish that it would thicken them too but I am still thrilled with the results. I have very sensitive eyes and have accidentally gotten this serum in my eyes a few times. It did not burn or irritate my eyes at all! I'm hooked...I can never let these lashes go away.
I want to scream "HG" from the mountain tops! This deep conditioner has left my hair in the best shape it's ever been. Nothing, and I mean nothing, has ever made my hair so soft and easy to style. This deep conditioner cost me about $4.00 on sale at Walgreens...but I would easily drop ten times that amount because the results are stellar! I've tried K-pak, Morrocan Oil mask, and every other high dollar conditioning mask on the market...nothing compares! I'm going to buy up as many tubes of this as possible before they sell out!
I have found my HG foundation, and Nars Sheer Glow is IT! Absolutely amazing. Flawless coverage and the most natural skin-like finish. I have to admit, when I ordered this foundation, I expected it to make my face look dewy. It actually leaves a kind of matte finish, BUT, it still leaves the most gorgeous glow on my face. Most matte foundations are very flat, masky and not at all flattering on faces with fine lines. This foundation makes me look radiant without the dewy look I thought I needed to look fresh and youthful. I don't know how Nars did it but this foundation is pure genius!
NYX Milk is a very creamy white eyeshadow pencil. I love that it glides on so smoothly and lasts most of the day on me. The shade is a true white color (without blue or yellow hues like some whites). It is completely matte, which is a hard quality to find in a white shadow. I use this pencil almost every day on the inner part of my eyes and on the water lines. It leaves me looking awake and fresh all day. The only (but major) gripe I have is that it is near impossible to sharpen because it is plastic and very thick. But, for the results, this pencil is still worth it.
This is probably the most flattering blush I own. I love buying new and exciting blushes in trendy shades but none of them make me look as flawless as Dusty Rose. This blush is a staple in my makeup collection. It's my go-to blush for when I want that "I'm sexy but didn't really have to put any effort in to it" look. NYX makes some amazing blushes and I will certainly keep this one in my stash for a long time.
Foundations -Wet 'n' Wild - Coverall Cream Foundation
PISALISA 3/16/2013 10:35:00 AM
***Edit*** I bumped this up two lippies because it works very well when applied with a wet Beauty Blender. This definitly helps with preventing the caked-on overly matte look. I am really liking this foundation now... I might actually LOVE it. I currently own more than 15 foundations and I reach for this one every day! **Original Review** This is a decent foundation for those who like a VERY matte complexion. I do not like completely matte foundations so this will never be a useful foundation for me. It gives great coverage and lasts very long. This foundation still looked the same on my face 6 hours into wearing it. Applying it was a pain because it dries too quickly and any layering resulted in extreme cake face. Also, the color selection is horrible. I will not repurchase simply because this formula does not suit me at all.
I admit that I am somewhat of a high-end blush hoor. I have spent a pretty dollar on many big-name blushers and never really bothered with drug store brands except for Milani. I read the reviews on the Fit Me blushes and mostly what people do not like about it is the fact that it is not deeply pigmented. This is EXACTLY what I love about this blush! What a concept...a blush that you cannot go overboard with! I prefer the shade "Light Mauve" to "Dark Mauve" but both blush shades give the most understated but beautiful glow. So what if I have to dig my brush into the pan...it's only $4.00!
This was my first UD eyeshadow. Grifter is a beautiful and sparkly lilac shade which has an ethereal effect on my eyes. When I say sparkly, I do NOT mean shimmery. This has straight up glitter in it. Normally I would shy away from glitter but this glitter is very fine and snow-like. I feel like a fairy tale princess when I wear this shadow. The only reason I gave it 4 lippies is that the glitter fall-out is horrible. It stays put with the help of a good primer but even just removing this eyeshadow is very messy and leaves glitter all over the place.
Crème -Graftobian - High-Definition Glamour Color Creme Foundation
PISALISA 2/25/2013 8:54:00 PM
So after hearing a ton of buzz about this foundation, I finally bought some in the shade "Prima Donna". Selecting a shade was pretty easy. Graftobian's website has a color chart which breaks down shades by warm, cool and neutral. "Prima Donna" was in the neutral category and it is a PERFECT match for my NC25 skin. Coverage is pretty amazing. I prefer to thin out the foundation by applying it with a wet Beauty blender. Also, it is VERY easy to go overboard and use too much of this foundation. Less is definitely more! The only reason I didn't give this foundation all five lippies is because it is just too easy to use too much and get cake-face. If used correctly, the finish is gorgeous. I was not expecting much in terms of longevity but I have found that this does last all day without melting down or disappearing. I will certainly repurchase because it is better than most foundations I have ever tried.
***EDIT***This BB cream has completly dried up my face. Also, it's probably not worth the time and effort to apply makeup which will only last for a couple of hours. ***Original Review*** Let me first say that I do not love this BB cream but I do LIKE it. As far as BB creams go, this is the best that I have tried. I enjoy slapping this cream on my face and heading out the door on a lazy weekend. The coverage is superior to any other BB creams. I still have a few red spots and need concealer under my eyes but it does an excellent job of blurring or covering most imperfections. The lasting power is only about 4 hours on me. After 4 hours, the oil sets in and blemishes reappear. I would repurchase again but only in the winter. This product leaves me paler than usual so it definitely wouldn't work on my summer complexion.
This Multiple from Nars is very different from the regular ones like Orgasm. It's a sheer wash of glossy hot pink. The color is very subtle and wearable but can also be built up in intensity if desired. I really like the non-glittery sheen this blush leaves on my cheeks. The color is very fresh and cheerful looking. The only bad thing I can think of is that it will remove any underlying foundation if you don't be gentle about the application. It doesn't really need blended except for around the edges of where you swipe it. I'm thrilled to have such a unique color in my blush collection but saddened that it was only a limited time item.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
PISALISA 1/27/2013 8:30:00 PM
I really don't get why people don't give this moisturizer more love. This is the one and only facial moisturizer which does not leave me greasy and full of acne. I use this product in the morning and before bed every night. It leaves my skin very smooth and supple...but never oily. Without a doubt the best moisturizer I've ever used.
This is a lovely peachy pink cream blush. It is a cinch to apply because it's not super pigmented. Just swipe and blend out with a fluffy brush. It leaves me with a beautiful, ethereal glow. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't last very long on my cheeks. Maybe 3 hours? But, whatever...I don't mind having to re-swipe during the day. This is a great product for a less-is-more make up day. Just swipe some on your cheeks, a little on your eyelids and then dab some on your lips. Add some mascara and you've got yourself a pretty and glowy look for the weekend. I will certainly repurchase if I ever use it all up!
