This matte nude lippie has strong peach and brown undertones. It wasn't flattering on my light, warm toned (NC20) skin though. It was very peachy and garish. The formula is pretty dry and not smooth, it tugged on my lips as I applied it. It also accentuated dryness on my lips, even though I exfoliated and put a balm on first. I usually love Wet N Wild but this just didn't live up to my expectations. I don't understand why the more inexpensive companies can't make a NUDE nude lipstick, instead of brown/peach ones.
Super gorgeous and unique color! It's a ... purple-ish grey? Sounds funky (and it is!) but it's wearable. For daytime, you could swipe it on once and top with a lighter gloss. It's pretty dark on the lips if you swipe it a few times, and chock full of shimmer particles. As someone said below, very rock&roll. Love the Rimmel scent and the classy black packaging. This is a STEAL at $3-$4!
This looked like a nice medium rosy-pink with shimmer in the tube, but when I put it on, it darkened to a bright fuchsia! I was a bit disappointed about that, but otherwise there were no problems. The packaging and the scent are nice. The formula is good; it doesn't feather, it lasts a while, and when it does fade, it leaves a nice berry stain on your lips. Just beware, it's a bit deceiving in the tube, it goes on darker!
I love this pink! It's a neutral to cool-toned pink, but I wear it often and I'm warm-toned with light brown hair. It's not a bright or tacky Barbie pink, it's subtle enough to wear everyday. It's a creme formula, no frost or shimmer at all. I like to wear it with a smokey eye. It's not drying but it can be unforgiving on dry lips, be sure to put a lipbalm on underneath and exfoliate your dry lips often.
Gels/Soaps -Philosophy - Black Cherry Italian Soda

Smells so good! The scent doesn't linger much after your shower, but it smells good while you bathe. You can smell the sweet fizziness of a real Italian soda with this one.

I just purchased this and it seems to be working well. I used it mixed with my hair conditioner in the shower as well as a dab on damp hair and blowdried. My hair feels very silky and it isn't weighed down at all. The texture is that of a dry oil. It isn't like a serum. The smell is nice, it's different than the typical Fructis scent. It smells like a vanilla with a hint of floral, it reminds me of a perfume I own and love called Casmir by Chopard. The scent doesn't linger for long though. The ingredient list is kind of sketchy. There are silicones, and "fragrance" is listed higher than the actual moroccan oil, so there isn't much of the actual oil in the product.
Fragrances -Thierry Mugler - Angel Comet Eau De Toilette Refillable Spray

The new Angel EDT is still very strong, only try one spritz! Angel EDT smells a bit different than the original Angel, it is definitely a bit lighter and "fresher" if you will; it ends up having more of a pine note on my skin. It's more like a men's cologne than a woman's in the topnotes. The drydown is similar, but it's again, less than the original Angel. Less unique, less gourmand, less fun. It even reminds me of a cheap dollar store candle at times. It may be good for the Angel lover who can't wear it in summer and wants to, but it's one you'll have to try out first. Like the original, it's temperamental and reacting differently on everyone's skin.
My initial thought was "this smells like Sand and Sable!" .. I used to wear that back in middle school, so it brings back good memories of a simpler time. As it mellowed out, I noticed that it has less of a coconutty note than S&S does, but Jennifer Aniston is still very beachy. I don't smell any distinct notes in this, it quickly fades away into a light, fabric softener, slightly fresh hint of scent that you can barely smell. The lasting power is pretty bad for how expensive it is, and the fact that it is an EDP.
The main, contrasting notes in this fragrance are frangipani and violets. It's pretty heavy on the violets, and there's also some noticeable patchouli. I received a sample of this in a Sephora order, tried it on, and promptly had to buy a bottle by the end of the day! It's long lasting, but it's not too strong. Very feminine, absolutely no fruity or sweet notes in this. It's classic scent that you don't see very often anymore. This will work in any season. A quote from Diane Von Furstenberg (per Fragrantica): “I wanted to put the power of women in a bottle,” said Diane von Furstenberg to wwd. “I feel like in the past 10 years, people have forgotten the magic that a perfume can have, and the power that it has. And therefore, I definitely wanted to do something powerful and seductive, without being aggressive.”
This smells like rubbing alcohol mixed with a Dollar Store perfume knockoff. I smelled a sample in a magazine and it smelled GREAT, I had to go buy a small bottle. The EDP smells weaker than an EDT should, and it's just so alcoholy. I do not understand why this is a trend, who is it that enjoys smelling like rubbing alcohol? So many of these "fresh" fragrances smell like this. Why do they want the human skin to be so clean and STERILE? Gross.
Polishes -New York Color - Long Wearing Nail Enamel - Black Lace Creme 119
PARA_NOIR 11/12/2011 11:56:00 PM
Worst black nail polish I've ever tried. You'll need about 4 or 5 coats to make it look opaque. Even then, when the sunlight hits it, it's still a bit sheer. Takes forever to dry. I like some of the NYC nail polishes, but this one is a dud. Get Wet N Wild Black Creme instead. It's the same price as this, but you only need one or two coats with the Wet N Wild.
I found this at Big Lots for $2 recently. I'm a fan of the Big Sexy Hair Spray and Stay All-nighter hair spray, but I HATE the $18 per bottle cost, so I thought I would try this out. Since it says it's "Convertible Proof" I thought it might do the trick. It
I love the product inside the bottle, but HATE the actual packaging. The dry shampoo smells really great and fresh, and I like the formula. It doesn't show up in my black hair if I follow the directions. I bought the procuct, used it once or twice with no problem. Suddenly, the sprayer stopped working correctly and only released a heavy stream of the dry shampoo. Annoying, but I dealt with it by spraying the product onto my palms first and then applying to the roots. Eventually, around halfway through the bottle, the sprayer stopped working together. I tried everything - rinsing cap and bottle opening in hot water, picking out all of the residue with a needle, I even tried putting on another cap that I grabbed from an unused Aussie hairspray I had in my cabinet - no dice. There must be a problem with the actual bottle.
This works for me. I use regular Cetaphil in the morning in the shower to wash my face, and then at night I use Cetaphil first, rinse off, and then use the Oil Free Acne Wash to wash off any leftover makeup. That is my HG combo, I recently ran out of Oil Free Acne Wash and tried to use another cleanser in place of it that I had at my house (Clean & Clear Morning Burst.. DO NOT recommend)... NO DICE! I had 5 or 6 new pimples within a few days. I HAVE to have the Neutrogena Acne Wash in my skincare routine. I also use the Cetaphil lotion after washing my face everytime to curb any dryness the Neutrogena soap may cause. It won't work for everyone, very dry skinned people should probably stay away from it, but it works for me and I wanted to give it a positive review. I am 22, have normal skin that doesn't get oily throughout the day, with mild acne.
Lip Treatments -Nivea - A Kiss of Relief- SOS Lip Care

I really love this product. I would call it a lip cream - it's not really a balm or a gloss. It's almost like a lotion. I picked this up at Dollar Tree for a buck. It healed my dry, flaky winter chapped lips in two days! The smell is not that bad. It's kind of lemon-ish. It's bearable. I would buy this again - in fact I already have, I just bought 3 backups today! Stock up on these if you see them at your dollar store or drugstore.
