Primer/ Corrector -L'Oreal - Magic Lumi - Light Infusing Primer

I noticed several weeks ago that the dry winter air was causing my beloved Estee Lauder Double Wear to look a bit dull and mask-like, not to mention my skin had paled a bit since purchasing my foundation. Instead of buying another expensive bottle of foundation, I decided to try this. It's amazing! I have not used it as a primer. I mix half foundation and half of this product, and it lightened my foundation to the perfect shade and gave me just the natural glow I had wanted. It's not greasy or shimmery looking -- just youthful and fresh! My skin tends to be oily and prone to clogging, but this product hasn't caused either to happen. I don't know if I'll continue to use this during summer because of my skin type, but for winter, it's definitely a keeper!
I wanted to love this mascara, and I did, for about a week. Then, I developed a chalazion that took nearly six months to clear up. I hadn't had one in ten years before this. This mascara is very difficult to completely remove, and I have to believe it's what caused the chalazion.
Nails -Unlisted Brand - Red Carpet Manicure System

You get what you pay for. I am a Shellac user, and found Red Carpet today at Ulta. I was pretty excited when I saw the $9.99 price tag and bought White Hot and Nervous With Anticipation to do a French manicure. This polish is terrible. I wiped the applicator several times against the neck of the bottle, but somehow, way too much polish remained. Once it was applied to my nails, it ran and dripped like crazy. Then, it wrinkled when curing. I'm returning this tomorrow.
Lipstick -Revlon - Super Lustrous-- Love That Pink

This was my great-grandmother's favorite color. She applied it with a heavy hand and had a hot pink personality to match. Us kids would have to wipe it from our cheeks everytime she kissed us. She passed away long before I began wearing lipstick. But a few years ago, I spotted this at Ulta and had to pick it up, if only for sentimental reasons. I was pleasantly surprised at the results from a lighter application. I'm pretty cool-toned, and think this color looks best on me when I have a slight tan. I reach for it every summer when I want to wear a loud pink, or anytime I want to remember her.
Lip Treatments -eos - Smooth Sphere Organic Lip Balm in Honeysuckle Honeydew

About a week after I received this for Christmas, my eos sphere rolled off my bathroom shelf and into my toilet. I was faced with a decision (besides how to fish it out): should I purchase a new one, or can I live without it? The shape was cool and it smelled good, but something about the formula felt drying and didn't make me feel like I was moisturizing my lips. A few minutes after applying, I always felt like I needed to apply it again. I decided to live without it.
My mom bought this and didn't like it, and passed it on to me. I think it's horrible, compared to the Too Faced primer I've always used. My shadow collects into this gross gunk in my crease pretty much immediately. Using this primer is worse than using no primer at all.

I've been using this product for 3-4 years and have purchased probably three tubes. The first time I bought a tube, I was a bit taken aback by the price for such a small amount. But a little goes a long way, and I use about one tube/year. This product does everything it claims to for eyeshadow staying power. In fact, my shadow seems difficult to remove at the end of the day! Whenever I'm in between tubes, I can definitely tell the difference, and have to run to buy more.
Moisturizers -Philosophy - Hope in a Jar - for all skin types

Last year I went on a hunt to find a moisturizer that wasn't as greasy as the EL DayWear I had been using, and that wouldn't clog my pores. I tried many different kinds, and even the ones for sensitive skin would clog my pores. Finally, my mom told me to try this. I've been using it for about six months and haven't looked back. It doesn't clog my pores and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. Sometimes when I apply it, I can feel my skin pulling it in and saying "THANK YOU!" Is it my HG? I don't know. I removed one lippie because the smell is kind of odd and I think it might be a tad greasy. But, I'm certainly not looking to replace this moisturizer any time soon!
Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)

This is my HG cleanser, and I am so happy I found it! My skin is really sensitive and other cleansers don't seem to have the right balance of cleaning power while not being too harsh. I have used this everyday with my Olay Pro-X for about six months, and my skin has improved so, so much! It's clear and radiant. It is a little pricey, but a little but goes a long way with my brush. It took me about five months to use the whole bottle, and my boyfriend was using it every day, too (and yes, his skin has improved, as well!). I just purchased my second bottle.

This little brush is, without a doubt, my ultimate "desert island" item! This, along with Philosophy's Purity and Hope in a Jar, has restored my skin. In high school, I had flawless skin. After the stress, poor eating, and everything else that went along with seven years of college, my skin had changed for the worst. I had used the manual face brushes from Sallys and had seen some improvement. But as soon as I received this for Christmas, my skin began to improve even more. I've been using it for five months now, and my skin is completely different. My only complaint is that I notice it starts running slower after even the first use with new batteries. It still gets the job done, though.
I bought this at Sephora one day as I was searching for a new foundation. I was intrigued by the spray-on application. I liked this, but ended up returning it because I felt it was too harsh for everyday wear and too expensive just to keep around. Pros: easy, fast and fun to apply; good, flawless-looking coverage; color matched well. Cons: seemed drying and clogged my pores; nozzle seemed faulty beginning with first application. I removed one Louie for price and one for the nozzle, which I felt was prone to clogging or breaking.
I wanted so badly to like this TM, but I just couldn't make it work. The color was very good and it looked great for the first couple of hours after application. Then, my face seemed to melt into an oily, clogged mess! I think this product ended up doing a number on my pores. I was surprised, because I thought this was supposed to work well for sensitive skin.
