Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Smoky ShadowBlast

If it wasn't for coupons, I would have never purchased these. I'm glad I kept my receipt, because these will be going back to the drug store. One of the two was broke as soon as I opened the package. The other, even with UDPP, it wouldn't stay put on my eye lid. It never set and creased within a few minutes. With such horrible reviews of this product on MUA and CG's own website, why does CG continue to sell this product?

Makeup Brushes -Bare Escentuals - Full Flawless Application Face Brush

Rec'd this in the get started kit from Sephora, and it's the worst brush I've ever purchased. Sheds horribly even after a good cleaning. I think I wear more of the brush than the actual product. If you wanted to purchase this seperately from the get started kit, I'd look for another brand.

Treatments -LUSH - Grease Lightning Spot Cleanser

Love love love this!! After just coming off of accutane, I wanted something to help prevent acne and the small spots that sometimes pop up, but I didn't want an acne treatment with BP or something harsh in it! This definately does the trick. I actually put a thin layer of it all over my face before moisturizing. It's wonderful! And when I have a small breakout, I dab a lil extra on it. Love the pump bottle, too! A LITTLE BIT GOES A LONG WAY!! Can't stress that enough!

I'm writing this review for my husband. LOL He loves this soap! Great morning "wake up" for him. I'm glad he's starting to go to all natural products.

Powders -Clinique - Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder

Some background info on my skin...I used to be extremely oily with horrible cystic acne. Now I'm coming off of Accutane, been off of it for a little over a month, and my derm suggests that I do preventative maintence care, but I don't really want to go back on products designed for acne. My biggest battle is redness. I have a lot throughout my cheeks and nose. I didn't even intend to purchase this, but the SA gave me a generous sample, and I really fell in love with it. It's been a big help. I apply this after I've let my moisturizer set. The brush that comes with it isn't the greatest, but it does a nice job if you want to target smaller areas. Normally I just use a big powder brush. The mini brush is retractable, so you can load it up, put the cap on it, and throw it in your bag. I just wish it came in a smaller container for less money.

Cleansers -LUSH - Fresh Farmacy
OrangeBlossom83 8/23/2009 4:33:00 PM
Some background on my skin...I am coming off of Accutane. I used have horrible cystic acne and very oily skin. Now I really don't know what my skin is doing. I have redness on my cheeks and pretty much "normal" skin now. My derm suggested that I just do preventative care now, but I really don't want to go back on harsh acne products. A little over a year ago, pre accutane, I used Fresh Farmacy and didn't like it at all. Now I absolutely LOVE it! It's so gentle and creamy. The tea tree and lavender help keep my face clear, and the calamine, chamomile and rose reduce the redness. Not completely, but it definately helps with the redness. I can't tell you how soft it makes my skin feel! I just love it. My biggest complaint with this is the "packaging". It's a bare product, so great for the envionment, but you have to be careful where you keep it in the shower.
