Going to start off by saying that I love the way this works. It gets off all of my makeup and doesn't sting my extremely sensitive eyes. With that being said, I can't use it. Every time I do my eyelids swell. They don't burn or feel irritated but they do swell. And sometimes that swelling is not gone by the morning. I know that this product is what is causing the swelling because as soon as I stop using it for a few days and then try it again my eyelids swell immediately after use. What a shame because I really do like how well it removes my eye makeup. I don't want to rate it too low because it does work great, but my eyes just don't like it.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous in Carbon Black

I probably knew better than to try this. I have used the regular Voluminous and did not like it for the same reasons but my curiosity got the better of me and I decided to try the Carbon Black version. While the mascara is nice and makes my lashes look wonderfully dark, this smudges on me terribly terribly bad. My lashes touch my brow bone and every time I try to wear this I always have obvious mascara transfer there. The same thing happens on my bottom lashes leaving me with a dark ring underneath my eye. Not a really pretty look. What a shame too because I like the way it makes my lashes looks but the smudging is something I can't stand.

Lip Treatments -Christian Dior - Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm

This lip balm gives my lips the perfect pink color. It is light and moisturizing, never feeling too heavy or drying on my lips. I love this so much that this was the color I wore on my lips on my wedding day. I also like that even when the balm wears off of my lips the color is still around like it has stained my lips slightly. The product description says that it works with the chemistry of your lips to produce its color. It definitely goes on clear and then turns pink, getting darker the more I apply. However, the color it produces may not look good on everyone. It does look wonderful on me and that is enough for to keep this around and repurchase even though it is quite pricey for my tastes.

Lotions/ Creams -Vaseline - Intensive Rescue Healing Hand Cream

This hand cream has a nice feeling to it. Very creamy and I feel it does a great job at moisturizing my hands which are quite dry. With that said, the only thing that bothers me about the cream is that it stays very slippery on my hands. Not greasy, but slippery. My husband even commented on it while holding my hands saying my hands were very slick. I like to use this when I don't really need my hands for a while because everything I touch slides out of them. Good cream all around and makes my hands moist and soft, just wish it didn't feel so darn slippery on me.

Lip Gloss -Korres - Cherry Full Colour Gloss in 52

I have to say I am quite impressed with this little beauty. As a PPP I tend to stay away from red lip colors because they always come off way to bold for my face. This color however is a perfect sheer red that brightens my face without taking over. The formula is light, non-sticky and smooth. I love the smell even though I tend to prefer lip products without scent. There is no shimmer or glitter which I also appreciate. I find that it lasts quite a while on the lips even though it isn't a very thick product and when it does wear off it leaves my lips stained a little bit.

Lipstick -Rimmel - Moisture Renew - Rose Blush

This lipstick is a nice sheer medium rose color and just a hint darker than my natural lip color. I find this to be a lipstick I would wear when I want a softer lip look. The packaging is cute too. It doesn't feel overly moisturizing though it also isn't drying. Just seems like a simple lipstick, nothing too special about it. The only thing that I hate is the scent. I don't understand why companies have to put odd fragrances in their lip products. I will keep it around to use up on days when my lips just need a hint of color, but it isn't something I am absolutely in love with or would repurchase.

Lotions/ Creams -Neutrogena - Norwegian Formula Hand Cream

I have extremely dry hands and I live in the desert so I constantly have to put some sort of lotion on my hands. This is one of my favorite hand creams. It is thick and takes a short amount of time to fully sink in but it makes my hands feel soft and moisturized. A small amount is really all that is needed,...if too much is put on it is difficult to rub in all the way. I also like that it stays around on my hands for a good amount of time. Not that I can feel a layer of it on my skin but rather that I don't feel the need to reapply it often because it has disappeared. It doesn't feel greasy or slippery. I use the fragrance free version and always have a tube of this in my purse.

Lip Gloss -Revlon - ColorBurst Papaya

This is one of my first ColorBrust lip glosses and I have to say I am quite impressed. The texture is smooth and creamy. It lasts a good amount of time on my lips, better than some other glosses but I wouldn't call it long lasting. The color is a lovely, bright coral with a hint of pink that isn't garish. It makes my face come alive without being over the top. This is going to be a perfect color for the summer!

I have tried tons and tons of lip balms trying to find one that helps with my peeling and raw lips. Most lip balms either make the problem worse or do absolutely nothing to help smooth/soothe my lips. I stumbled on this and cannot believe how amazing this product is for me! It smooths my lips and doesn't cause them to peel what-so-ever. My lips are soft, moist, and smooth after using this! I simply cannot believe it! This lip balm has no scent, causes no irritation, does not cause my lips to peel, allows me to wear lipstick without issue, isn't too glossy or oily, and just all around a wonderful lip balm. This will be a lip product that I constantly keep around me!

Top/Base Coats -Orly - Bonder Rubberized Basecoat

I really do love this product for the fact that it keeps my polish on for 5-7 days with very minimal chipping. However, it has one major flaw: staining my nails orange. This has caused me to start trying other basecoats in hopes of finding a similar one. I can already see a good deal of normal colored nails growing out since I have stopped using this so it seems my theory that 'Bonder' was the cause of the orange staining was correct. I went ahead and gave this product a fairly good rating because it does an amazing job as a basecoat but I don't appreciate the staining.

Powder -Laura Mercier - Foundation Powder

I was a little unsure about buying this product because of the price, but I'm am SO glad I did. I've been looking for a powder foundation that could give me the little bit of coverage I need for my red-toned skin. I purchased this in No.1 and while it looks slightly on the yellow side, it is darn near perfect for my ultra pale skin. It may be just ever so slightly on the dark side, but that is hardly noticeable because I don't wear a ton of it. It helps to hide the redness in my cheeks without looking obvious. I've been using this a good 3 months and have not experienced a breakout from it which is a miracle for my skin. I will repurchase when necessary but it seems to be lasting me quite a while. I've applied it with the puff it comes with and a MAC 187 and both give a very nice finish. It doesn't completely control oiliness, but nothing does that for my skin. Overall I am very happy with this product and thrilled that I have something that evens out my skin tone yet still looks pretty natural on me!

Liquid -Maybelline - Pure Makeup [DISCONTINUED]

I had a hard time deciding what rating to give this foundation. I really liked it but sadly it broke me out. I shouldn't have used it anyway because it has Titanium Dioxide in it which breaks out my skin/clogs pores like crazy. Can't use mineral makeups for the same reason. However, I was looking for a light foundation to cover the redness in my skin without being heavy or cakey. This did a great job at what I wanted and it was a cheap price. I love the squeeze tube which made it easy to get the amount out I needed. I think it is slightly heavier than a TM and gives a light coverage. Couldn't feel it on my skin and lasted most of the day. I would have loved to continue to use it if my face didn't break out. If your not sensitive to Titanium Dioxide and looking for a light foundation, this would be a good choice.

Moisturizers -La Roche Posay - Anthelios SX Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15

I have been using this as my daily facial sunscreen for about a year. It gives my combo skin the moisture it needs without breaking me out. I do feel that it makes my skin a little shinier than I would like as I have to blot several times during the day. This does not sting my extremely sensitive skin and I feel that I am getting good protection, though I really wish it did come in a higher SPF. The only complaint I have about this SS is the shine, but I will keep using it until I can find something I like better.

Makeup Brushes -Bare Escentuals - Handy Buki Brush

At first I thought this was a great brush. But the more I used it the more I realized this is not a brush I can use. It is very rough and pricks my skin. I was noticing a lot of skin irritation over the last couple weeks and it finally occurred to me that this brush was the cause of it. It was like I was getting tiny scratches every time I used it. My face products, that I've never had any issue with, began to burn and my face itched incredibly bad all day. The only thing I had changed was using this brush instead of a flocked sponge to apply my Jane Iredale Pure Pressed. I stopped using this brush and my skin is starting to return to normal. This brush might be good for people who don't have extremely sensitive skin and I did feel that I got good coverage from it, however, it was too uncomoftable to keep using.

Fragrances -The Body Shop - Cassis Rose ] [DISCONTINUED]

I picked this up the other day in the perfume oil. I am not a rose person, or a floral person for that matter, but I was really drawn to this fragrance. Something about it makes me want to wear it constantly. It is very pretty and not overwhelming at all. I plan on going back and getting more products with this fragrance.
