I got this for $3 at the SAS, normally it's $7, which I think is just a tad bit pricey. Overall, this is an awesome lip balm. It's packaging is super cute and chubby and it really does soften my lips. It tastes like chocolate and vanilla.
I love this fragrance. It's super old...and I've been wearing it since middle school, but it brings back memories. I don't think it's too overpowering or too "fake smelling"- it just smells nice and citrusy.
I'm glad that I got this before it sold out at the counter. The combo of pink and grey-taupe are just so classic. Also, the shimmery highlight is a perfect dupe to another highlight by ulta that is my HG. I also enjoy the magnetic closure of this.
Conditioner -Suave - Professionals Almond & Shea Butter

This conditioner is really nice! I rotate this with my aveda damage remedy to save some money. The smell is nice and it leaves my hair pretty soft. I do have to use more than the Aveda to get the same effect, but at less than $2, I don't mind.
This is a nice foundation if you want sheer, illuminating coverage. It's oil free so it doesn't make me more oily. My only gripe is that the colors run light. I'm usually bisque 0, and I had to go to bisque 4.

The concept of this lightweight hydrator in a pump is awesome, but it makes me get forehead bumps whenever I use it.
Lip Gloss -E.L.F. - Studio 2 in 1 Conditioning Gloss (all colors)

I got this gloss at Dollar Tree. It was $1 as opposed to $3. I have the plum colored one. Pros: CHEAP! Nice color pay off, not drying, decent lasting power. Cons: tastes odd but no worse than Nars glosses, applicator is kind of "furry"-- seems unsanitary. Overall, I would buy it again in a different color (or the same color) but it's not my go-to glosser.
NC30 and I love this as a coral lippie. Adds a nice pop of color to my face and of course the formula is creamy and lovely.
I had a free travel size coupon so I picked this out, blindly without sniffing. This fragrance is very sweet, but oddly enough I don't mind it. I wear P.S. I Love You every night and Coconut Lime Verbena everyday, so this is a nice change once in a while. :)
Background info: I've used Aveda's Smooth Infusion as my go-to smoother for about 2 years. I bought the Avon Lotus Shield on a whim after watching the commercial (guilty). Package: the package for this is tiny, but you only need a small amount. A pump would be nice for this, but it comes in a squeeze-style. Price: compared to Aveda it's a steal Function: I LOVE THIS! I put a nickle size amount in my wet hair and blowdried. After my hair is usually frizzy and I used my t-3 to straighten/smooth it out. After blowdrying with this, I literally had smooth hair. I did not have to straighten it to smooth it out. My hair has stayed smooth for the 3 days it promised, even in humid south florida. I will totally be switching to this product full time.
I bought this as a cheaper alternative to Aveda's Smooth Infusion. I get similar results with this, smooth and manageable hair. Does a great job making my wavy hair not frizzy, I can very much tell when I forget to use this. I use it on wet hair, blow dry, straighten, then add moroccan oil. I love the package because it has a lid and it also twists close if your lose or break the lid. Very inexpensive at around $6, compared to $20-ish. There have been lots of coupons in the paper and on the website too for $1 off. :)
Awesome natural lid color. A small amount of shimmer/sheen to it perks me up so I look awake. I usually wear this under TFSI with just a matte vanilla as a highlight and brown eyeliner for a natural look and it lasts all day. Good color, but dupe-able in my opinion. I had 2 full sizes I got for free, so I've had no reason to look for a dupe yet. If I couldn't find one, I'd probably buy again...eventhough it's $17. :/
I've hit pan on 4 of these shadows. It's my go-to lid color, a beautiful pinky-gold shimmer; you can easily pop different colors in the crease to change up your daily look. I like to use a brown-gold, warm purple, green, or a darker pink. They all look really nice. I use it under TFSI and it stays all day with great color pigmentation. It's so expensive at $17, but the closest dupes are Flamingo by Smashbox (slightly more orange) and Strawberry Fudge by Clinique (slightly more pink) but they're all around the same price point and I own them and reach for Kitten Heel way more.
Very pretty gloss. I like the smell and taste- vanilla. The package is clear so you can see the color inside which I like because it's easy to find in your makeup bag, it's also small enough to pop into a wristlet. The applicator is just a regular sponge-tip and deposits enough product onto your lips with one swipe. Overall, nice gloss.
Lotions/ Creams -Palmers - Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula
OfYourHeart 7/16/2010 8:26:00 PM
HG! I love Palmers Cocoa Butter. It is hydrating and smells like chocolate. A lot of lotions make my legs itchy, so I'd be using body oils up until the discovery of this amazing lotion. I found a bottle with a pump and now I buy the non-pump kind a refill my pump. It seems like the pump is a little hard to find...I found it at Target for around $8, but the refills are less at around $5.
