Skincare - Body -MD Forte - Hand & Body Cream

I liked this lotion even though it has mineral oil in it, which I generally try to stay away from. It actually was moisturizing but in a light way. It also smoothed my skin faster than the M 2 lotion that I thought I loved until I tried this. I guess my skin just responds better to Glycolic Acid as opposed to Malic Acid. It also fades marks and lightens discoloration quickly. I have already purchased another tube because it only lasted 3 weeks using twice daily.

I really liked this lotion. I have a lot of scars on my arms from bumps and this has really helped to fade them. The bottle lasts about a month and I have noticed a difference in my skintone and texture. I think it also helps fade stratch marks. I also used under my arms to fade marks from shaving bumps and they really cleared up. It also helps to prevent future bumps along with a good scrub in the shower. I will definitely repurchase. I think after continuous use it can really help heal damaged skin of all complexions without any harsh chemicals like hydroquinone.

Styling Products -Nexxus - Maxxishine Anti Frizz and Shine Spray
Nybelle 10/19/2009 8:16:00 PM
I came across this at TJ Maxx and I love it. I am almost out of Morrocan oil Glimmer Shine Spray, which I do love, but wasn't ready to buy again to try and save some money right now. So when I saw this for $3.99 at TJ Maxx I had to try it. I must say that I do love it so far. It really controls frizz and maximizes shine without weighing down your hair. The trick is to spray on hands and then lightly run hands through hair focusing on the ends. I love this as an alternative to Morrocan Oil Glimmer and shine spray and you can't beat the price.

Styling Products -Wella - Liquid Hair Brilliant Spray Gel

I love this spray gel for setting the hair. If you want to set your hair on rollers or texturize and dry under a bonnet dryer, this is the product for you. I experimented with this after finding it for $4.99 at the beauty supply store and used it while on vacation in Jamaica, and I couldn't believe how my curls lasted in the hot humid weather. I just washed my hair applied my trusty Morrocan Oil, sprayed all over soaking wet hair, roller set and dried. Even as the curls fell, I was left with soft waves. No crunchiness or frizz. I love this. I will be headed back to the store to stock up on this product because I believe it is discontinued. As with any product, you have to find the right combination of products that work well for your hair type and texture. Don't be afraid to experiment and you will be surprised by what you might discover works well for you. I know that I was.

Styling Products -Wen by Chaz Dean - Sweet Almond Mint Texture Balm
Nybelle 4/3/2009 5:31:00 PM
I didn't really like this for my hair. It is a little sticky and greasy. I prefer products that allow hair to move. This is good for a slicked back look, like a ponytail. I will probably use it when I plait my daughters hair because it really holds the hair together, like a paste. Otherwise, I don't like it for a textured look. It is just too sticky.

Styling Products -Wen by Chaz Dean - Sweet Almond Mint Styling Ceme

I really liked this cream. It held the mosture and actually left my hair feeling really hydrated after it was dry. I applied this while damp and set my hair on rollers and dried. Then I flat ironed using my trusty Morrocan Oil. My hair was really smooth and shiny. I even used a drop to refresh my hair and smooth the ends and it still feels light and smooth. Not heavy like some styling creams. I think that I will be alternating between this and the Morrocan Oil styling cream for variety because I do like both products. Anyone that has dry, processed hair should give this a try. Your hair will love it.

Hair -Wen by Chaz Dean - Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner
Nybelle 4/2/2009 2:24:00 PM
I must say that I got sucked into the infomercial for this product. I've been in love with using a combination of the Kerastase shampoos and Morrocan Oil Conditioner, Morrocan Oil Style Cream, and Oil. One day I was at home at decided to order this product. Well, I used it last night and immediately loved the silkiness that it gave to my hair. I rinsed and used the remoist mask that came with it as conditioner. Then I rinsed and noticed that I didn't have any tangles when I combed out my hair. I also had minimal shedding, which I normally shed a lot when my hair is wet. Then I applied the styling cream for this line and proceeded to set my hair on rollers and dry it. When I styled it this morning, I used my faithful Morrocan oil and flat ironed to smooth it, and my hair looks so shiny and healthy. It has even been raining here all day and my hair is still smooth and straight and "swingy". I think that I will have to add this to my arsenal of products. It really works wonders for dry, processed hair.

Scrubs -Unlisted Brand - The Original Skin Store - Microderm Crystals
Nybelle 3/31/2009 3:59:00 PM
This is the best scrub ever. I like that you can mix it with your favorite cleanser and increase/ decrease it's intensity. This is the only scrub that will reveal brighter skin immediately. Especially if you use the Acne Stop, you will experience flaking skin. You can use the scrub daily and it will remove all dead, flaking skin. This scrub is a must have for anyone using glycolic products and experiencing peeling, flaking skin.

Treatments -Makeup Artist's Choice (MUAC) - Gly-Luronic Acid Serum

This is the best product I've ever used for my face. I had a bad reaction to a peel from a salon, and my face broke out very badly. I ordered this and used it for 1 week and my skin began to clear up. I use it twice daily on my face, neck, and chest area. I also use it on my back, and it not only prevents break outs but is clearing up the dark scars from previous break outs. I use this with the original skinstore acne stop astringent. Maybe I have strong skin, but this combo works for me. Anyone that is serious about controlling oily skin and acne should give this a try.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - The Original Skin Store--Acne Stop

This product is amazing. Now, be forwarned that it does burn. You should only apply it to the affected areas with the light sweep of a cotton ball. I would recommend using it at night and follow with the Original Skin Store Emu Oil moisturizer. You will awaken with tighter pores and glowing skin. My skin has never looked this good. Please be smart in your application of this product. Try it lightly and then increase application based on your skins tolerance level. You will not be disappointed.

Treatments -Moroccanoil - Morrocan Oil Treatment
Nybelle 2/6/2009 3:14:00 PM
I love this oil. I was using Kerastase Oleo Relax Serum, and this is the best. It is better to me because it provides a little hold, incredible shine, and improves the texture of your hair with continued use over time. I also use the conditioner which is amazing. I do not care for the glass bottle, but everything else about this product is perfect. I recommend to anyone with chemically treated hair. My hair is colored, hilighted, and chemically straightened. I use it on damp hair before blowdrying, then apply a little more to smooth hair and protect from the heat while flat ironing. No matter how much you use, it will not weigh the hair down. It also has a tropical smell that I get complimented on all the time. This is HG territory for me now. I still alternate between Kerastase and this, but I can tell a difference. A must have!

Treatments -Kerastase - Ciment Thermique
Nybelle 11/28/2008 3:23:00 PM
I have relaxed, highlighted hair that I blow dry and flat iron weekly. So needless to say my hair tends to be dry and the ends were splitting and damaged. I began using this in conjunction with the Oleo Relax Line(shampoo, masque, and serum) and have noticed my hair is shinier, healthier, and stronger. I have noticed less breakage also. I used to use Aquage healing conditoner which was very moisturizing but did not help with the breakage. I would say that this leave-in is a must for anyone with chemically processed hair that is frequently heat styled.

Styling Products -Frederic Fekkai - Coiff Controle Ironless Straightening Balm
Nybelle 10/20/2007 6:04:00 PM
I loved this product. The texture was smooth and lite. I used the thermal protecting spray then smoothed in a dime sized amount. Proceeded to let my hair air dry. Then I added another dime sized amount once hair was 80% dry and blow dried with a comb attachment dryer. My hair was so soft and silky! I then used the ultra lite finishing cream and ran the flat iron through. My hair is straight, shiny and unbelievably soft. I love these 3 combinations for styling hair.

Conditioner -Neutrogena - Triple Mositure Silk Touch Leave-in Cream
Nybelle 12/28/2006 11:25:00 PM
I love this cream. I have relaxed, thick hair that was damaged a year ago and finally regaining it's normal texture. This helps to smooth out every strand along with the serum. It isn't sticky and you can even use it when hair is dry. I have used everything from expensive Frederic Fekkai Glossing cream to Khiels silk groom and this is by far the best, and cheaper. I recommend for anyone with dry hair that needs light weight moisture and shine.

Styling Products -KMS California - FLAT OUT Relaxing Balm
Nybelle 8/2/2006 7:45:00 PM
I purchased this product on sale at a Regis salon. 75% off retail so I ended up paying $5 for it. It was $5 well spent because I love this. This product is made for thick, coarse hair. It really smoothes the texture and leaves an incredible shine once the hair is dry. I use it in conjunction with Neutrogena Triple Moisture Heal and Shine Serum while my hair is wet. Then I set on rollers and dry. I have beautiful bouncy hair now. I have relaxed color treated hair.I would recommend this product to anyone with relaxed hair that is looking for an alternative to gels and setting lotions.
