I'm generally a really big fan of UD shadows, and am a very satified owner of the original Naked palette. I jumped at the Naked 2 and have had it for about 3 weeks. The color tones in this palette are really up my alley, most are very neutral and some that are overtly cool or warm. I think this palette makes a great smokey eye, especially because of the inclusion of the deepest, matte black (Blackout) I have every used. Overall, this palette is a fantastic value and I believe worth it even if you already have the original Naked.

Concealers -Hourglass - Hidden Corrective Concealer

I've wanted to try this concealer for a long time, and decided to purchase after finally searching in store. It was a difficult shade selection decision because there were only 3 shades available (note that now Sephora has added shades online). I am roughly NC 25 and chose shade sand. Warm seemed more orange and pearl was a light neutral shade. Usually, I would have purchased the lightest shade but in this instance I chose Sand hoping it would provide better correction coverage and I could brighten on top of it. I am not 100% sold on the shade, however the formula is well done. Very creamy yet lightweight, unlike many other popular creamy concealers out there with thick textures (erase paste, BB, LM). I rub the concealer directly on my fingertips to warm the product a bit and place on my under eye area, around the nose, and chin. The best thing about this concealer is that it does not crease, which is what I've always searched for. I feel some of my other salmon toned concealers do a much better job of correcting, but the way this melts into the skin is superior. I will be taking a look at the expanded color selection when it becomes available in store. This is also quite pricey but I feel that Hourglass uses very high quality ingredients and leaves out cheap fillers and chemicals.

Concealers -Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles
rated 5 of 5

I purchased this in shade 160 Brightener. This is a wonderful drugstore Product that would rival any high end "illuminator". The product is fairly thin and fluid which makes it great for layering over a corrector or concealer. I like using this under my Hourglass stick concealer on my undereye area. This also performs well using the "triangle" method under the eyes to give the face a glow. The applicator does not bother me and I will continue to purchase this.
