The Skin79 got lots of great reviews but sadly it did not work for me. The shade was a bit too grey, but since I only use a a bit of cream for coverage the result was still nice. But: it broke me out like mad, plus already existing spots got worse and inflamed. Because I hoped this was due to the hot weather I tried this again but the condition on my skin worsened. So, no more Skin79 for me - and no, it was not a fake product as I bought it directly at a korean store (in Korea).

BB Cream -MISSHA - M Signature Real Complete B.B. Cream SPF 25 PA++

Compared to the Missha M Perfect Cover this one is a bit darker, even though I bought the same shade, #23. The texture of the cream is more fluid and in my opinion more "dewy" and shiny than the M Perfect Cover, plus it takes a bit longer getting absorbed to the skin. Especially in the area of my chin it seems that it doesn't cover evenly and is still oily. I mostly use finishing powder or the make up fix spray by Missha so the makeup holds pretty well :) I will repurchase this because I really like the color (fits me better than the M Perfect Cover) but I'm not sold on the texture of this cream. No breakouts so far.

BB Cream -L'Oreal - Nude Magique BB Cream

Putting aside the fact that this product is not comparable with Asian BB creams, it is still not the right "BB" cream for me. It oxidates very fast and turns the face into a glowing orange thing. It's also not moisturizing at all and dried out my skin, the pearls inside the cream were not helpful at all, since my skin is very sensitive I almost had the feeling that they roughed up my skin! But I didn't get any breakouts and the matte finish was nice. The packaging hower: since it's not really creamy, more fluid, the BB cream just comes out of the tube if you are not careful enough. Because of the terrible color -and no additional features, no sunblock etc.- I will not repurchase it again.

BB Cream -Maybelline - Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream

Although it is affordable, I won't purchase this BB cream again. It was almost the worst BB cream experience for me because of the color: even though I applied just a very thin layer it made me look orange. Plus is doesn't have any of the benefits Asian BB creams have - and the packaging -tube- was very messy. PRO - No breakouts - Might work for people who have a pink skin tone (?) CON - Doesn't blend in very well - Not moisturizing, skin dries out rather quickly - Stays orange - Cream just oozes out of the tube and creates a mess A suggestion: always check the color under natural light!

BB Cream -MISSHA - M Perfect Cover BB Cream

I bought shade #23 in Korea and it seems there are only 3 shades available here - the US shop has more darker shades. I think #23 is a bit too light for me but since I only apply a thin layer it is ok. The coverage is pretty good and it blends smoothly into the skin. You need to wait at least 10-15 minutes until the color adjusts to your skin tone. Haven't gotten any breakouts on my acne prone skin and I will repurchase :) My Pro/Con list: PRO - Good coverage - No breakouts - Smooth feeling - Incredible sunblock, I always get sunburned on my cheeks but never gotten it this summer after applying it! CON - Not for hot & humid weather since it will get greasy, especially in the nose area. - Still greyish, especially in summer and if you sweat I won't use this too much in summer but will restock in Korea before I get fly home. I think except summer (where oily skin like mine gets extra greasy) other seasons work best with this BB cream.

BB Cream -Etude - Etude House Precious Mineral All Day Strong BB Cream
rated 1 of 5

I bought two shades, W24 Honey Beige and W15 Sand Beige which are suitable for darker or tanned skin tones. Since I bought them directly in Korea it was pretty cheap (no shipping costs etc.) and it is a very popular brand here. Sadly I have more negative experiences than positive ones. First, I thought that I finally found a great BB cream with the right shade (not too light!) but no. After applying the BB cream it looks ok first but two to three hours later it turns dark, almost orange, like crazy. The lighter shades do not turn darker so I can't even switch to another cream. And regardless if I use fingers, sponge or brush it simply doesn't blend well. Together with fixing powder it doesn't look like a flawless finish but more like a cakey mask. Here's my Pro/Con list: PRO - Good choice of colors (4 shades) - Good coverage CON - Breakouts on the chin - Oxidates very fast - Greasy feeling - Turns oily after 2-4 hours - Makes certain spots on the skin flakey & dry - clogged pores - Pump is uncontrollable, I never get the desired amount out if it. This BB cream might be suitable in winter or cooler countries; I would repurchase it but due to the breakouts I won't.
