Moisturizers -Perricone - Face Finishing Moisturizer

I received this product as part of Sephora's rewards program and was very excited to use. I've kept it for months now, trying to use it here and there to test the results at various times. Unfortunately, it has broken me out every single time! Love the smell and texture. It does give brightening, texture, and toning improvements, but overall worthless to me because it breaks me out.
Not sure why so many negative reviews, this is my favorite Vitamin C product! Cannot live without it! I stopped using it for a time (because of price) and noticed in pictures that my skin looked more dull. As you know, with any Vit C product your skin has to build tolerance--which is why many people have commented on redness or mild breakouts. Also not sure why this is listed under moisturizers? This is a serum! I've been using this for years & years and it definitely brightens! It's not the kind of dramatic results you get with using a glycolic and it won't get rid of dark spots like hydroquinone, but with continued use, it's a great, mild brightening product that will give you a youthful glow! I also love the packaging, as with all KS products. Keeps the Vit C protected from light and you can see how much product you have left. Lasts forever, absorbs easily, does not make me oily. I tried a sample of Ole Henriksen's Truth Serum and that did cause a mild breakout. I'm curious about Skinsceuticals Vit C products, but the packaging is a deterrent for me... I currently use Peter Thomas Roth Camomile Cleanser, Total Vitamin, and CeraVe daytime moisturizer w/SPF 30 for day. At night, I use same cleanser and Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion with the Murad sulfur spot treatment if I get a pimple from having too good a time the night before! lol! The nights I do my spray tan, I use CeraVe's nighttime moisturizer instead.
Treatments (Eye) -Peter Thomas Roth - Un-Wrinkle Eye

This is my latest go-to eye cream. I'm on my 3rd bottle. Much more noticeable results than Dr. Perricone High Potency Eye Lift. Bought that and noticed NO change at all. I do also use Shiseido's Benefiance gently patted on top (under eye) after I'm done with my makeup. The PTR is not that moisturizing, but I'm fine with that b/c I layer the Shiseido on top. What I'm interested in is peptides and firming and the PTR does keep my crinkles away. I have moderate under-eye wrinkles and slight loss of firmness that Botox can't help! :-) I'm always on the lookout for something better, however, so I might try Dr. Patricia Wexler's or La Roche-Posay next time.
Cleansers -Peter Thomas Roth - Chamomile Cleansing Lotion

This is my HG cleanser because of the texture (not foamy, not runny, just perfect), it removes my makeup, doesn't break me out, and soothes my sometimes red skin! I've started alternating with the orange glycolic cleanser (although that is a tad drying) and that one definitely brightens. The chamomile cleanser is the perfect day-to-day cleanser, especially when combined with a Clarisonic.
Moisturizers -Korres - Yogurt Cream (Yoghurt Cream)

This product has an amazing texture, not too thin, not too think. Goes on so velvety and feels like it dries to a perfect powdery finish. I break out from everything and get red easily, so I decided to try Korres because their products don't contain mineral oils, silicones, etc. Have not broken out at all and my face actually looks soothed!! Super excited! Does not make me oily either (their pomegranate moisturizer does). I do wish they could put in some hard core stuff like retinol or peptides or some kind of proven anti-aging ingredient, but you can't have it all! Use this product for a day cream, and use Murad Perfecting Lotion (with retinol) at night. My face has never been more clear and even.
