Eyeliner -Maybelline - Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner

I have this in a navy blue color. I loved how creamy it was at first but the texture is a lot drier now after I've had it for 6 or 7 months. It is good but not any better than the Physician's formula or Essence gel eyeliners and those both cost less and are still usable after a year. I don't really like the brush that comes with it either, the one that comes with e.l.f.'s cream eyeliner is in my opinion a lot better. I bought this in Italy for around 10 euros and I would repurchase if I didn't find any other navy eyeliner but there's no way I would buy this in black with all the great cheap eyeliners that are out there. Can't comment on its lasting power because I don't have oily lids and most things last on me.
I loved using this mascara for the first two weeks after I opened it, it was quite wet but it separated and lengthened so well. Then it slowly got more and more clumpy and now I often have to use a q-tip to remove or separate my lashes if I forget to rub the brush into a tissue before each use. It doesn't smudge or flake but mascaras rarely do on me. It is ok but requires too much work and I think the effect is a bit too unnatural for my taste, I often end up with gigantic lashes that look like bad falsies when I would rather have soft and fluttery ones. Not bad, not great.
I love this product, it has never let me down. I usually fill it with my VS Beauty rush body mists (because the scent tends to fade pretty fast and I need to reapply) and it's so easy to use it during the day. I forgot I had it in my bag for a couple of months and the container was still almost full so obviously the liquid didn't evaporate. The only problem is that I don't think I can fill it with my Gucci Rush 1&2 fragrances because the bottles have a weird square design and I don't think the top can be removed. I think the Travalo is pretty cheap for how well it works and that it makes a great gift.
Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Beauty Rush Gloss -all

I am not a big fan of tube lip glosses but if I had to choose my favorite these are it. I have four or five shades and they all have different tastes, most are really pleasant and I am quite picky when it comes to lip product flavors. My favorite is Slice of heaven, the color is an almost transparent milky pink but it has lovely golden shimmer and it smells like delicious vanilla cupcakes. There are a few that have more pigmentation (Fineapple and Taffy go lucky) and some have almost none (Guava girl and Slice of heaven). They are sticky but not too sticky and they do last a long time on the lips. I usually buy three or four at the same time so they cost about 6 dollars which is acceptable. I really don't see them being any worse than Lancome's Juicy tubes and I think they are a lot better than e.l.f.'s Glossy lip shines. Although I don't use them that much they are nice and make great gifts so I would buy again.
Lip Treatments -Blistex - Complete Moisture Lip Balm
NikitaRose 12/8/2012 2:50:00 PM
I usually love Blistex products but this has a very unusual smell, someone described it as an artificial sugary lemonade and I agree with that description completely. The two or three times I used this it didn't seem to help or hurt my lips, it worked just like any other lip product but the thing is I expected better from this company. It felt nice on my lips but not as hydrating as the one in the tube. I would not repurchase this but I bought some other Blistex balms in stick forms and like those way better.
I have these in three shades - Milk, Cottage cheese and Yogurt. Milk is wonderful to brighten the inner corner of the eye, I often apply it to the whole lid and then put on black eyeliner because it makes it stand out more. Cottage cheese is a pearly white and I often use it alone, without any other eye product except for mascara to highlight the inner eye corner. But because it is shimmery it is more obvious than Milk so I apply it more sparsely. Yogurt is the shade I use least and the reason I don't buy any of the bright, colored jumbo pencils, I just can't find a good use for it and I don't like to layer eyeshadow over cream products. Not because of the staying power or creasing (I don't have oily lids so products rarely crease on me) but because I prefer to use a real primer. I sometimes use it to line my lower lashline but I am not sure I would buy again. I am guessing it would be a good replacement for Cottage cheese for ladies with more tan skin, I am NW15 and Cottage cheese looks pretty natural on me but might look too sharp on darker skin (especially if you are going for a natural look) so Yogurt might be the better choice. People are probably disappointed in these because they are similar to a lot of other Jumbo eye pencils out there but most, even if they are just as good (the L.A. Colors ones), don't have such a wide selection so I'm guessing that's why people love them.
I love the design of this eyeliner and it performs so well, but it stains my lids like no other. The tip is very very sharp and it's so easy to create a precise wing with it, I've been using gel and cream eyeliners for the last two years and couldn't believe how much easier using this pen is. The color is not waterproof (it doesn't claim to be) but once it dries it is kind of smudge proof but rubbing your eyes still might not be the best idea. I don't have oily lids though so perhaps I am not the best test subject. I've had it for two months and the color is as dark and pigmented as it was on the first use, there's no crumbling and flaking, in that way it is much much better than the e.l.f. eyeliner which sometimes stops working after a week or seems nearly empty even on the first use. The only problem with this eyeliner, and unfortunately it is a big one, is that even after using baby oil and Bioderma to remove it my lids are still noticeably darker/greener, it seems to be particularly hard to remove near the lashline where the color is probably the most concentrated. Maybe this wouldn't be so noticeable on darker skin tones but on my NW15 skin it looks pretty disgusting. I will buy again if I find a remover than can completely remove the product but if I don't I definitely wouldn't repurchase this.
This is a lovely shimmery white eyeshadow with lots of silver, white and *I am pretty sure* turquoise sparkle. It must look great on tan skin but on me (NW15) the effect kind of gets lost. The texture is not thick and buttery enough for really good color payoff and although I am happy with it I don't think I would buy again, Artdeco's shadows are not as great in my opinion, better get Catrice, their selection isn't as wide as Artdeco's but they are in my opinion better, cheaper and you get way more product. I also hate Ardeco's flimsy packaging, it's great for people who put all their eyeshadows in palettes but here they don't even offer you a choice, I can't even imagine what would happen to the eyeshadow if I traveled with it in my make-up bag.
Avoid this if you are NW30/NC30 or lighter, it looks terrible on my NW15 skin, a shimmery orange mess, more orange than any orange looking bronzer and more shimmery than the most shimmery blush. The glitter is quite chunky and noticeable on the skin, the texture is quite similar to e.l.f.'s blush (which is really a highlighter) in Gotta glow It is definitely not finely milled enough for a subtle glow. I guess ladies with tanned skin could use this for a ''J.Lo'' bronzed look but it's not subtle enough for anything else. I like gold highlighters but this product is just too hard to work with.
Lip Gloss -Isadora - Shiny Lip Lacquer - Glamourous Red #18
NikitaRose 11/23/2012 4:57:00 AM
The product is okay but the color is not very flattering. I prefer bright red lip glosses but this one is darker and has some shimmer in it and unfortunately it doesn't do anything for my NW15 skin. I have to say I like the formula though, it's not sticky at all and it's easy to apply on the lips (sometimes red lip glosses can apply very streaky). The tube looks really boring considering how much this costs, it's a drugstore product but it's pricey drugstore and in the end it costs about as much as a MAC lip gloss. The applicator is a regular sponge and a cheap looking one at that. If this was a lot cheaper I might consider buying it (in another color) but there's no way I would pay this much for such an average product.
Lip Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Crazy Rumors brand Perk Coffee Bean Lip Latte
NikitaRose 11/18/2012 9:15:00 PM
I don't like this lip balm very much. The consistency is wonderful, soft and buttery, in many ways similar to the Hurraw lip balms which are also organic and cruelty free and are probably my favorite lip balms ever. What I really dislike is the scent, this does in no way remind me of coffee, it doesn't smell like roasted or instant or machine made coffee. Maybe this is the way a coffee bean really smells like? If it is I have to say it doesn't remind me of coffee at all, all I know is that the sweet scent makes me sick and it's impossible for me to use this product. The packaging is kinda cheap but for the amazing price of less than two dollars I won't complain. I plan to try more Crazy rumors lip balms just never again in this flavor.
Bronzers -New York Color - Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in Sunny 720
NikitaRose 10/22/2012 3:15:00 PM
I think this is probably the lightest drugstore bronzer and therefore perfect for my NW15 skin. I don't think it is a great shade for contouring though, at least not for me, the pigmentation is just right but it comes out looking ORANGE. I still love it for giving my face a bit of color. It's not such a must have as I expected it to be based on these good reviews but it is a nice product for any pale girl (and boy) out there. I will stick with my NYX Taupe for contouring though, it is not as finely milled but the color looks much more natural. I also have to add that the packaging for this bronzer is one of the worst ever, it doesn't even close properly and when it does it's hard to open. I have the same problem with their pressed powder compact though so I guess it's just a bad container.
I really like the formula of this lipstick, it is creamy, very very pigmented, feels comfortable on the lips and lasts for a few hours. I think the formula is better and creamier than the Ultimate Colour lipsticks in Be Natural and Frozen rose, perhaps because it's a newer shade in their range. This is a bright orange color that doesn't look that flattering on my NW15 skin but I still like it for the summer months. It has a subtle scent but it reminds me of something expensive, it's not a cheap lipsticky smell. I especially love the packaging which is just amazing (but perhaps a little too heavy) for 4 euros. Would repurchase.
I really like this lipstick, it is a cool-toned pink that looks really flattering on my NW15 skin. It is quite pigmented, goes on completely opaque but is not drying at all, in fact the texture is quite creamy. The only disappointing thing about it is the lasting power, it starts to disappear from my lips after an hour or two but it is really easy to reapply even without a mirror. It has a delicious scent but no (noticeable) taste. What I am really impressed with is the packaging, it is a little heavy but it is so sturdy, makes the lipstick look like it was worth five times more. Would repurchase.
Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Gloss in Taffy Go Lucky
NikitaRose 10/20/2012 11:48:00 AM
This is a pretty great gloss. I adore the hot pink color, it has small golden shimmer in it but it is not too noticeable. I wish it was a little more pigmented because the color is so beautiful and unique but on the lips it is not so obvious, it just gives them a nice pink tint, perhaps if you layer it over a similar colored lipstick it will be more true to the color you see in the tube. It is not sticky at all, it has a sweet taste and pretty strong candy scent. It was pretty cheap for the amount and quality that you get. I do have to warn you that the color makes the teeth look yellow. Would repurchase.
