I wanted to try something different on my virgin hair without it being too drastic and caca maroon gave me just that. I really liked the reddish colour payoff it gave me, it is relatively cheap due to the bob length of my hair and received many compliments on the shininess of my hair. However the application is a rather tedious process, creating the right consistency is difficult, trying to wash the dye out takes forever and cleaning the bathroom of green stains takes even longer. Although I really liked the results it takes far too long for someone who is slow at doing things as it is, also I can’t stand the scent of the block, which makes storage difficult.
I bought this after falling in love with Honey I Washed the Kids, although it smells the same in the bottle when using the floral notes become much stronger which I detest. Disappointed with this product as I'd prefer HIWTK in a gel form so half of it doesn't run down the drain.
This smells so natural and healing, I found the pump difficult to use, dispensing way to much product for a spots only treatment. I'm not sure this product actually helped reduce any of my breakouts, think I'l stick to the proven BP.
One of my top three yankee scents, its fresh but has a slight comforting sweetness to it. Very subtle, could be used in pretty much an area of the house, wouldn't be strong enough to cover strong kitchen or smoking odours though.
I don't think this mascara is anything special, its natural and subtle but I’d rather buy a high street mascara for everyday use and splurge on a more dramatic mascara for nights out.
I quite like this foundation, even though it does really suit my skin type. I have very pale skin, but 27 alabaster was much too dark and I couldn't buff it in more because it didn't provide my acne-prone skin with enough coverage. I feel this foundation's finish would suit a more normal to dry skin type, as my oily t-zone melted this makeup off within a few hours.
Yankee describe Wild Passion Fruit as a vivacious and bright fragrance, and it is certainly that. The scent is more energizing than relaxing and is probably more suited to a kitchen or bathroom, than a bedroom or living room. I have only burnt this candle in the tart form, and I consider it to have a very large throw to the point where even with the window open it could be distinguished through a closed door and down the hall. I would repurchase this, but it is definitely a spring/summer scent and only if I needed something incredibly strong
Garden Sweet Pea is the only candle in Yankee’s floral range that I would repurchase, probably because it is quite sweet. Although I usually prefer candles the scent is nicer in reed diffuser form in a larger room, as it seems to have a smaller throw and therefore gives a lighter, less sickly and more genuine sweet pea smell.
Bahama Breeze smells like sticky, fizzy cocktails; however, the scent is almost sickeningly sweet. The throw is moderate and I am not sure which room this scent should compliment. I love the colour of this candle, but I think it smells nicer in wax form than when melted.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

This is currently the best moisturiser for my acne prone skin, provides moisture to combat acne medication with leaving an oily mess. A little goes a long way; this is one of the only Clinique products I would repurchase, but not on a student budget. My only problem is that I cannot apply after my topical medication or the moisturiser goes into little lumps.
Lips -Clinique - Chubby Stick - Woppin Watermelon *NEW FORMULA*

I really liked the colour payoff of Woppin’ Watermelon, it is a pretty tone for pale skin, but it does not have great staying power. In addition, I find that unless I exfoliate my lips beforehand, it will highlight any dry skin or cracks, so not an ideal product for on the go.
Strawberry Buttercream has a light, airy strawberry scent; it has less of an artificial smell than Sweet Strawberry. This creamy scent has quite a small throw, and is probably strongest in tart form. As a fruit scent, Strawberry Buttercream is obviously not a winner for those who enjoy more refreshing or spicy scents. I have repurchased this, and would do so again.
True to form, Black Cherry has a rich, syrupy scent like cherries, but not in an artificial way like Sweet Strawberry. It is marked as a fruit fragrance for obvious reasons and therefore is suited more to kitchens (or bedrooms if you really like cherries), this candle was not designed to help you relax or distress, but smells great all the same; the throw is not overpowering or too weak.
Pink Sands is my second favourite spring/summer scent behind Vanilla Lime, it has a very cool and very sweet smell, but not in an overpowering way; and reminds me of DKNY Fresh Blossom. This is definitely not for those who prefer earthy or spicy scents, I would nearly place this smell in the floral section rather than fresh category, although this does have a slight hint of sun cream, but not a strongly as Sun & Sand. This candle has a medium/small throw, and I find that after I extinguish the scent in a house warmer jar the smell disappears almost instantaneously, also I don't think it smells as nice when burnt as it does in the jar.
I love the smell of generic detergents and bought a fluffy towels tart after smelling the large candle. When burnt, Fluffy Towels has a very wide throw and I struggled to find a room that the scent suited without being too overpowering. My colleague bought the fluffy towel reed diffuser, and had to remove it from her bathroom because it was so strong it was constantly making her sneeze. Fluffy Towels is quite unforgiving and harsh, therefore I prefer Soft Blanket, which has a comforting, safe smell.
