Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Riche Lipstick in Peach Fuzz

Like a lot of other reviewers have mentioned, this lipstick is nothing like it appears to be. I wish I had researched it before buying it even if it was only $5. I was so pissed! In the tube it looks like a peachy nude but on lips it's sooooo frosty and colorless.

One of the only hair products I've repurchased. My hair is insanely unruly after years of abuse caused by dyes, heat, and God help me, home perms. I would describe it as cave woman hair. For under $3 at walmart I purchased this not really expecting much. A year and 5 tubes later, I'm still in love with it. I even put one in my moms stocking this past Christmas because I knew she'd love it too. I use a nickel sized amount rub between my hands and apply to the length of my dry hair. With whatever is left on my palms I work throughout my root area. I noticed if I put too much by my roots my hair looks matted. It smooths and defines my frizzy waves and leaves my hair soft and adds shine. I think it makes my hair look better the longer it's in my hair so I never feel the need to apply it more than once. My hair is about halfway down my back and this tube lasts me about 2 or 3 months using daily.
I put this eyeliner on my waterline before a nine hour workday. Within the first half hour, it had to be reapplied. It literally disappeared from the outer corners of my eyes. Throughout the night, I reapplied it 4 times. Maybe I prefer a darker line than rimmel had intended, so I was a little disappointed. I assumed an eyeliner claiming to be waterproof would have more staying power. A good thing about it is while it does need to be reapplied to keep a dark line, it doesn't melt down the tear duct or do that messy smear on the outer corner. It just kind of works it's way into the lower lashline. I will continue using it for this reason because there's nothing I hate more than checking my makeup only to find out I've been walking around with clown eyes. I bought it at walgreens for about $4.50. They had 2 colors. A sparkling black and a dark brown. I tried the brown because I have more black eyeliner than I know what to do with.
I apply all my foundation with my fingers and found this extremely difficult to blend in. It has a kind of sticky feel. The coverage after one application wasn't enough for me so I applied it twice. It looked alright. A little dewy. The foundation itself smells a little like chlorine. That didn't really bother me though because I'm not sensitive to smells. I set it with the new coverall powder which comes with a ridiculously small sponge. It helped the overall look but I wouldn't repurchase this foundation again. I used twice the amount I would use of other foundations. Some good things were the lightest shade was a good match for me, it was really cheap ($2.99 after using the dollar off coupon that was attached) and at best is a decent foundation for someone that needs little to no coverage. But there a lot of negatives. Coverage wasn't great, wore off after a couple of hours, comes in a squeeze tube, and basically too much effort to make it look just okay. I had high hopes for this because wet 'n' wild has really improved the quality of their products. This one just wasn't for me.
Foundations -Cover Girl - Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation

Really great foundation. Very natural finish. I bought classic ivory. There are no pinkish or orange tones. Just looks like skin. My boyfriend even complimented me and he never seems to have an opinion on my makeup. And it lasts all day! Bottle says it's a three in one foundation. Primer, concealer, and foundation in one. Also says it's shine free. And it is. I set it with a powder although I probably didn't need to. Dries to a matte finish but not chalky. Doesn't settle into fine lines. Too soon to say but this might be my hg foundation! Cost about $12 at walgreens not on sale without coupon so I'm sure it can be found cheaper.

I love this stuff. My skin hasn't looked this good in years. Dramatically reduced the appearance of my acne scars and has evened out my complexion. It's kind of hard to find. I had to drive to several walgreens before finding it, but it was worth it. I blend it into my face after every shower before bed. Has a slight stinging sensation but seemed to go away after a few uses. Cost about $8.
Liquid -L'Oreal - Visible Lift Serum Absolute Advanced Age-Reversing Makeup

I like this foundation. I had bought the l'oreal infallible foundation in the past but broke out like crazy so I avoided this one. It hasn't turned on me yet. The coverage is pretty great. Not a very natural finish though. I would wear a moisturizer underneath it especially for under the eyes. Lots of color options for pale skin. Doesn't oxidize on skin.
Lipstick -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Matte 903C Just Peachy
NicoIcon999 12/29/2012 3:24:00 PM
While the color of this lipstick is pretty, it is just way too much work. Upon applying, it looks really thick. Like Crayon thick. Really waxy. So I blot my lips but waste a lot of product in doing so. Throw on some gloss to try and blend the rest of the lipstick and it ends up kind of clumpy so I re-blot my lips. Eventually I get it right but it takes a while. If it lasted more than an hour it might be worth the time, but it fades quick. Not to mention the lipstick applicator broke the first day I bought it.
I bought this in a shade called simply natural. The color is gorgeous! It's a natural nude shade leaning more towards a pink nude than a peach. Long lasting color that doesn't flake on lips. Really pretty on it's own but like other reviewers said, it might be kind of dry so a little gloss wouldn't hurt.
Accidentally bought this because I thought it was their sable eyeliner. I actually like this more. Creamy texture works well blending under eyes. Chestnutty tones make blue eyes pop.
Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Clump Crusher mascara

I'm not too picky when it comes to mascara. I only ask it doesn't leave dark circles under my eyes or clump my lashes together. This has passed the test. I've tried several mascaras that claim to be clump free but this one really is. It's bittersweet finding the perfect mascara because I love trying new products. I plan on buying this for life.
Liquid -Estee Lauder - Maximum Coverage Foundation

I have acne. Not horribly bad skin. The problem I run into mostly is covering the scars from picking my skin. After reading so many reviews on the amazing coverage I decided to pick this up. Spending nearly $40 on foundation isn't something I typically splurge on, but it would be worth it if it worked. I almost bought it about a year ago and the woman at the EL counter even told me "oh, you don't need this! This is for people who need a lot of coverage!" So that's what I expected. I have to say, the shade very light was perfect. The coverage however was comparable to revlon colorstay mineral mousse, which is now discontinued I think. The problem I have with both is upon applying, all dry patches show up. After about an hour, all my scars start showing up. I have better luck with maybelline super stay which costs a third of the price and looks way better.

I know I shouldn't, but I pick at my skin. Almost like I have skin picking sessions where I stand two inches from the bathroom mirror and pick at every little thing visible. I end up with broken skin, blotches, and painful swollen zits. My skin is super sensitive and anything targeted towards acne that I've bought has always backfired on me. I figured I would try this because my skin was having a really bad week so I'd take a chance. After playing with my face after my shower, I dabbled this on all of the areas I had messed with. Right away I liked this product because there was no stinging sensation upon applying to my broken skin. I slept a few hours and woke up shocked. The product didn't budge from where I had applied it and when I rinsed it off my face my acne was considerably less inflamed. The smallest of my blemishes were barely noticeable and the worst of my zits were smaller, calmer and less noticeable. I highly recommend this!

I've had cystic acne for years and have never found a single product that works. In most cases, I end up using something way too harsh that ruins the non-problematic areas of my face and irritates the cystic acne along my jaw and neck making it worse. This soap so far is different from anything I've used before. From day one, three stubborn cysts that I had for over a week went down dramatically. They felt a little dry, but in a healing way, not a bad chemical reaction way. The apples of my cheeks, forehead, and other areas of my "good" skin didn't suffer. My entire face feels soft and clean. I hate the whole skin getting worse before it gets better thing and I hope that this soap doesn't backfire on me over time. I am not using any other acne regimen because it might complicate things. It smells like sulpher obviously but for those of us with cystic acne, we really don't care as long as it works! My rating would be higher, but it's too early to tell.
Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup
NicoIcon999 8/5/2012 1:12:00 AM
This was $12 or $13 at walmart. I found it pretty difficult to blend. Just found myself giving up and dealing with a streaky finish. Because of the dewy effect, trying to set it with a powder just made it look worse. Within an hour my face felt so extremely greasy I couldn't wait to take it off. My skin isn't oily to begin with either. As far as coverage goes, I wasn't that impressed. I'm not throwing it away just yet because it is summer so it has that working against it. As far as good things, it is a pump foundation and the color match was good. Most importantly, for me anyways, it didn't cause me to break out.
