Mascara -Yves Saint Laurent - Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils

Wow! I hate to say it but when I pay more for mascara I'm seldom let down. YSL gives you fat gorgeous lashes with only 2 coats. The packaging is nice too. You will pay more but this actually delivers. It will last you 3 months too so you'll save yourself the drama of purchasing and repurchasing drugstore mascaras that clump and flake. BTW, the colored mascaras are beautiful too. Must trys are the blue and the purple.
A silicone based primer, the first available commercially. It does the job of giving your face a smooth finish and helps makeup last longer. The price tag isn't so great and for much less you can get the same results with Monistat's anti chafing gel.
This fragrance has been around for awhile and as lovely and classic as it is I'm sure it will be around for some time to come. There are light floral notes with subtle tones of sandlewood. There's a soft gentle complexity with this fragrance that definitely makes it a favorite.
Powder -Unlisted Brand - Earthen Glow Minerals-Cover Me Foundation

This broke me out big time. When I contacted the makers I got no response. So I foolishly took another chance and ordered again only to be stiffed by the company with no product and no refund. I'm really upset. Funny thing is they sent me an email of all times last week to invite me to try them again. Said they are reopening and would love to have me back as a customer. Are they kidding?
I said that I'd buy this again because the quality of this product is very good. It definitely moisturized and conditioned my hair. The only drawback is I've found an equally good deep moisturizer from Earthen Glow Minerals for much less and since I love their shampoo and conditioners much more I've switched over. Their deep conditioner must have the same stuff in it because I can't really tell the difference other than the Ojon is smokey where Earthen Glow's is kind of like lemongrass.
Makeup Brushes -Everyday Minerals - Long handled Kabuki
NewYorRican21 10/15/2008 12:21:00 AM
Definitely one of the better quality kabukis available and the price makes this buy even better. If you're looking for a kabuki brush or an applicator for mineral foundations this is the one to start with. It's unlikely that you'll ever really need another.
I'm not a fan of CG mascaras because I seek volume first and length second. No clumping is always a plus but... Anyway I didn't see anything special about this. I can say that I did with Volume Exact (it gave volume) but this one not so much for me. The consistency was rather thin and it just didn't perform as I'd hoped.
I wish I knew about this in High School. Really this is one of the best DIY facial treatments that I've used. Leaves my face super clean, clear, and soft. The lactic acid really does it's job and the thickness of the yogurt helps it stay put for a full 20 minute treatment.
This was like a freebie for students right about now... meaning if you find it be sure and ask how long will the sale be on because the foundation match crisis look like it might be over
I really like these bars so much that I purchased 20 of them even though I already had some at home. Wouldn't want to be without them because the quality and excellence in this soap is definitely present. Great for sensitive, exzema prone, and normal skin types. Even oily skin like mine keeps asking for more of this soap.
Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eyeliner Gel Blue Peep [DISCONTINUED]
NewYorRican21 10/13/2008 4:27:00 AM
I love fluidlines for lining eyes. They give you a precision line like a liquid liner without the harshness of the look. Or the long drying time. These are great and this color is so nice that I own two. I'll never finish them because a little goes such a long way.
Moisturizers -Philosophy - Hope in a Jar - for all skin types
NewYorRican21 10/13/2008 4:24:00 AM
It's an ok moisturizer. I bought 2 of the makeup optional skin care kits and this came with it. I was pretty disappointed with the results of the kit overall but this was likely one of the better products that were within the kit.
this is a pretty good mascara for adding volume, curl, and ok length without too many applications or other tools(curler or comb). For the price it's definitely a good buy.
Scrubs -Carol's Daughter - Ecstasy Sea Salt Body Scrub
NewYorRican21 10/13/2008 4:19:00 AM
I love Carol's Daughter's packaging and the smell of this delicious scrub. I don't have sensitive skin and actually have a pretty tough hide so this one does just the trick for my skin. Exfoliates nicely
Great mask for oily or normal skin. Now that I think about it it's probably great for dry skin too since Aveeno is. Anyway I've been using this for years. Just use raw oats, add a little honey, and you can stop there but if you'd like adding a little yogurt or fruit juice will just increase the facial experience.
