Okay I've had both version of this product - the duochrome "proper" and the non duochrome copy. (btw if you want to check the id code for the proper one is 10306AAV {bottom of bottle}) and the proper version is gorgeous - purple, silver, green. Lovely by itself or over a black or white base. The non duochrome is a bit ugly in my opinion; a greenish silver that isn't very flattery or very shiny. So if they one you have doesn't look like the pretty swatches you see in store or online; this might just be why.

Gorgeous color, horrendous application. Wasn't expecting great quality but the formula turned out to be so thick and difficult to apply even the brush bent under the weight. If you can make it work then good because it really is a lovley shimmery jelly with small and medium sized round glitters, but for me the brush was terrible, all bent and stray hairs everywhere and along with the super thick formula did not work at all. Sadly

Top/Base Coats -Sally Hansen - Double Duty Base & Top Coat

I was really freaked out when i bought this once i saw the reviews here, thinking i was going to be sitting here waiting for my nails to dry forever, but once i actually used it all my worries went away. I haven't used a base coat before and this seems to do everything its supposed to, it's stopped my nail polish from peeling and seems to minimize both tip wear and chipping. Dried quite quickly for me. As a top coat i find it easier ti use then others i have tried (OPI's in particular) and once again it dried quite quickly and left a lovley shine, especially on glitter and foil nail polish. Maybe they have improved the formula but i didn't have any of the drying troubles many seem to have had.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Telescopic

I really love this product, was a little iffy about the brush at first but it goes on so clean that i fell in love. The formula seems pretty perfect and isn't watery or clumpy - since the brush is so thin if it was clumpy you would really notice!! My only problem...is the packaging, or maybe not even the package but the text and logo on the bottle, it's so warm in Australia that it's all come off and now my bottle is covered in yucky black streaks that get on my hand every time i use it. Means i have to use a napkin or some tissue paper to hold the wand and bottle each and every time or have to spend ages trying to wash black tar off my hands, unpleasant. Hope they fix this. The mascara itself is awesome though and i would totally repurchase this even with the packaging issue i experienced. Comparable to high end mascaras for sure.

Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Intense ShadowBlast

I really wanted to like this product, and I love the colors (got the beige one) and it seemed great when I tested it on my hand at the shop. But when it comes to going on your eyes it's so thin it doesn't really work and the wand doesn't work very well for application. Worst of all every time I use it my eyelids would get warm and then get all red and swollen. Was quite painful and was a complete surprise because I don't have sensitive skin and have never had a reaction before. If u ally want to try it, do so on your eyes and watch out for it feeling warm. In the bin goes mine.

Gels/Soaps -LUSH - Sultana of Soap

Like the look and smell but upon use found the soap part melted away to quickly leaving many painful hard bits that weren't even exfoliating(too big forthar) just uncomfortable and kinda messy. Wish this worked for me asi love oats and such. Btw: alternatively my boyfriend tried it too and HATED the smell, said that when it was wet the smell made him think of seeing sick :/ unpleasantbuti thought I should put that out there.

Love. Sweet, warm and beautiful to look at. I would buy it again but I'm currently upgraded to the it's raining men shower gel if anyone likes the smell but find it difficult to lather like idid.love it, so pretty. My fav all year hard soap :)

I love lush and all they do, and I love how this soap smells to! So sweet and lovely, button my skin the smell is just off putting. I think it must just be my personal skin makup because I know many who just have no issue. Wish I could love it more. Still, might just leave in the sock drawer so they smell nice.

Cleansers -LUSH - Fresh Farmacy

I love ff, it was one of my first lush products and even if I hated the rest I would gobsck for this. It can be finicky to get used to it, as if it is mishandled it can melt fast. The best way I have found is to cut up the ff into small, about 3-5cm pieces and only take the piece I'm using into the shower. The rest I keep in an airtight bag in the medicine cabinet. Soon as I'm done using it I put it out of the shower( usually on the top metal bar so I don't have to get out, this means I don't use it us quick. I've repurchased this 10+ times and will continue to do so, it's helped clear up my skin which is always a bit oily and in my teenage years was very acne prone. I only use it for face and neck, and my boyfriend has been converted to ff as well as it helps his control back acne. 100% recommended
