Hmm, I've had a trial size of this for a couple of years and didn't think I was all that crazy about it. I recently tried it again in place of my body lotion and could not stop sniffing myself all day, it smells so good on, the scent is subtle yet lasts all day. Soaks in nicely, doesn't feel cold to the touch like my regular cream which is a plus on a winter morning. I may try finding a cheaper apricot oil, but I would repurchase this particular one.
Lip Gloss -Chanel - Rouge Double Intensité - all shades
Neely 7/13/2005 8:48:00 AM
Bought this on the great reviews, I purchased Sandstone which appeared to be the most neutral shade in the small color selection, it is a nice brownish rose shade in the tube but goes on much darker, a little too intense of a color for me considering there's nothing subtle about this once it's on - think red carpet event. The first time I used it, I was happy with it, the color went on evenly, if dark, and the gloss made it very comfortable. Every single time I've tried to use it since it has gone on completely unevenly and balled up on parts of my lips. Horrible. It is practically impossible to remove, so I end up putting massive amounts of colored balm over it until I have some workable even texture, which negates any 'stay-on' quality, and then feel so self-conscious about the amount of color I just keep blotting until it finally fades. I can't seem to throw it away since it cost $30, but it's my least favorite lip color.

I love this stuff. I'm a scrub junkie and really love the warmth and texture of this one, my skin feels super soft and clean after using it. It may not be for the super sensitive, as it is not the most gentle feeling scrub, but that's what appeals to me.
Self Tanners -L'Oreal - Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Towelettes in Medium
Neely 5/23/2005 10:15:00 AM
I tried this after my sister raved about a different brand of self tanning towel. I used it after exfoliating in the shower, it was extremely easy to apply and dried within a couple of minutes. It had a very mild fresh scent at first, but I noticed some of the typical self-tanner smell develop after several hours (I could smell it on myself by the time I went to bed). I could see a little bit of color by the end of the day and woke up the next morning to a very natural looking, streak-free, even tan. I can tell did miss a couple of spots underneath my arms, but that's my fault, not the tanner. All traces of the self-tanner smell disappeared in the shower this morning. It would be great if it had less self tanner odor, but ease of use wins out, I'd use again/repurchase.
Bath Treatments -Yon-Ka - Phyto-Bain Invigorating Bath

You must try this to believe how lovely and refreshing it is. I use a small amount on a washcloth in the shower, it softens my skin and smells incredible. It's a little hard to describe what makes this a great product because I can certainly live without it - it's not really a cleanser or moisturizer - but it's how mentally/emotionally satisfying the scent is for me.
I love this cream for my super dry winter skin. Feels great, smells fresh.
Tinted Moisturizer -Tarte - Amazonian Clay BB Tinted Mosturizer (Smooth Operator)

I like this product a lot, but it's not a swooning love. I prefer Prada tinted gel moisturizer, but this is my 2nd choice. I have the lightest shade which might be a *bit* too light, but it's sheer coverage so definitely works well enough for my pale face. No complaints at all, just a preference for the texture of the prada over the thinner tarte liquid.
I've used this for about a month now and it's one of the prettiest blushes I've used. I like the color, scent & lasting power. It's rather big & bulky, you get a lot of product & don't need to use much. I'd repurchase if it ever runs out.
Tinted Moisturizer -Prada - Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream

I hate to love it so much, but I do. The fairest color looks perfect and the texture is great. No obnoxious scent. I like the smaller multidose packaging, takes up less room when I throw one in a travel bag. I wish it were less expensive, but I think it is worth it.
I've been using this in 'buff' the 2nd fairest shade, for a few years and love it. Goes on smooth and looks natural. I'm not a big foundation person, I either use this alone or over a little tinted moisturizer. I don't use any other powder with this, but it's not too drying on my skin. I keep it in my bag for touch ups with a rubber band around it because the catch is not extremely strong & it can open up if jostled around. Comes in about a half dozen shades, probably best for fair to medium complexions. Retails for about $28 but lasts a very long time.
If I could only wear one eyeshadow, this would probably be it. Granted, I like a relatively natural eye look, but this is practically foolproof. "Shimmery pinkish nude" is a very accurate description. I'm fair with red hair/ freckles and it gives the best hint of color & shimmer, makes me look pretty without looking overdone. The salon I work at included this & Mystique (recommended as more of a liner) in a basic Trucco makeup package and photographed our multi-ethnic staff all wearing the same colors and it worked well on everyone. Retails for $11-12. A flip-top cap would be more convenient than a screw top, but color and texture win out and make this a holy grail shadow for me.
I'm a body lotion junkie with very dry skin, but I think this is where my search ends! It's very rich, thick without being too thick, not greasy. I sometimes use it on my face as a night cream. I love the wide mouth plastic tub - I can scrape every last bit out unlike tubes or pumps. The big tub costs about $11 and often goes on sale for under $10 on drugstore.com. I've tried cetaphil lotion and did not like it much, it was a bit greasy and not as moisturizing as I like, but the cream is perfect.
Toners -Yon-Ka - Lotion - mist tonic- normal/dry skin
Neely 10/11/2004 4:10:00 PM
I love this is a non-drying toning spray. I spray on after cleansing and gently pat it in to my skin. It makes my skin feel very refreshed as I'm using it, but I don't know if there are any real lasting effects. I'm addicted to the smell, light and fresh. It now comes in a smaller metal spray bottle perfect for travel. It is expensive, but worth it for me.
This is really strange stuff. The packaging really calls attention to how little product there is compared to the size of the tube, it takes lots of clicks to get the stain started up into the sponge tip applicator. I got this in 'flattering' from sephora.com. The color looks like a deep red in the tube but goes on a light, orangey red, not the greatest color. Finally, I applied it several times as evenly as possible over my lips but the color clung very unevenly, it only showed up on the inside rim so that I looked like I just ate a cherry popsicle. I can't get the color even at all! Will return this immediately.
