Fragrances -Givenchy - Amarige D'Amour

Sounds like perfume is really personal... It is impossible to have this one or any for everyone to like. I love the original Amarige fragrance. However, it was a bit heavy of a fragrance for me. I discovered this one by pure accident. It is delicate, sofisticated and romantic, very light, fresh, sensual, warm and not dark in color of feeling at all. My favorite parfume. It is about love and speaks its language-makes me feel amazing. The bottle looks like a classic Amarige one, very silvery. It is certainly not an everyday fragrance, but I am tempted to wear it all the time. Love this parfume!

Lipstick -Maybelline - Wet Shine Diamonds - Mauvey Rocks

Bought it as a summer shade and it worked very well. It has a lot of sparkle and shine, fairly sheer when you put it on. I thought the color would be more purple, but instead it has a lot of brown undertones in it. So it is a calm pinkish brown. Had enough moisture for my lips in the summer and did not look extremely bright, more of a natural look. However, now I noticed it has a really waxy unpleasent smell to it. I liked the packaging when I bought it - it is pink with metal - nice and summery. I don't know if I will buy it again- the smell really bothers me.

Lipstick -Revlon - Moisturous Lipcolor - Waterlily

I was attracted by the name- waterlily! Very nice lipstick.. Made my lips look fuller, adds shine and moisture. Feels weightless, not runny even though is soft. The color is fairly bright (not at all garish though), more of a fall or winter shade. I won't wear it during the summer time. Also, looks great in the evening (not as bright, but more natural).It is of a red shade, but has dark undertones and some scarlet pink in it. Also, the color is not quite plain, has some sparkle to it. The color complements my complection, and my eye color well. I have light brown eyes and dark hair. The lipstick might appear brithter if you have very fair skin. The smell of the lipstick is noticable, but is not unpleasant at all. Once I put it on, I can not smell it at all. I like it very much so far...The packaging is not extravagant, but quite elegant for the price.

Lip Gloss -Naturistics - lip gloss stick

My absolute favorite lipgloss so far. It has a natural strawberry flavor (and it contains a real strawberry extract). It makes my lips feel soft, full and shiny, and it even lifts my mood because of its wonderful smell. It contains a lot of natural oils in it and feels great. It is cheap and the packaging is cute, even though it does not look super sleek or sofisticated. I like it. (I could only find this brand at Rite-Aid)

Treatments (Eye) -L'Oreal - Dermo Expertise Eye Defense

I just love it! Even though I have never tried eye lotions before, I think this one is of a very good quality and does the job very well (also not as expensive as it can be). It is light pink in color and contains some very tiny sparkles in it, so it illuminates the eye area. It is very light and non-greasy, and comes in a charming small glass jar. I would buy it again even for the esthetic value alone. So many cosmetic products that you can buy at a drugstore are comletely plain and presented unatractevely, but I think this one is beautiful. I have some dark circles and very light lines around my eye, also my skin is very sensitive. It did not erase my dark circles ( i do not think any lotion can do it- good rest helps more). However, it made my eye area more lluminous and, less puffy and added some needed moisture (but no grease or shine).I'll keep using it and see if any updates will be needed.

Cleansers -Clinique - Facial Soap Mild

This is to review clinique soap extra-strength (was recommended for skin type III- naturally oily)The soap worked fine for me. It is a very simple basic soap, contains witch hazel (herb) and has no fragrance. It does not leave any film or residue and takes care of the makeup. I liked the fact that it did not seem (but i am not the expert) to have an excess of harsh chemicals or dyes and was a natural soap color (not bleached to white) I have been using it for over 6 months and have no complaints about the soap. However, I think that it might be a bit too drying for people with sensitive skin. It must be accompanied with a mosturizer especially during the winter. Also, The toner#3 that works with the soap is extremely harsh (agreed with many negative reviews of Clinique toners in general). So, I will be switching to some other brand soon. Not everything that is expensive is automatically the best.
