Treatments -Yves Rocher - Culture Bio - Good Night Cream

Ooh chile. Such a gorgeous product. Smells great, feels great, nourishes the skin like nothing I've ever tried before. You get real value for money and you there is nothing nasty on the label. (You might want to do a patch test, the amount of plant extracts in this is ridiculous) You know those days when you have a runny nose and the skin is stripped around your nostrils? With this baby I can blow my nose like there's no tomorrow and it still is baby smooth. (Earlier I'd have painful scarring around my nose which would turn brown and peel for months) Me and my baby BIO - we're in this for life.

Liquid -MAC - Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15
Natalove 9/28/2010 10:40:00 AM
This was my first foundation, applied by a MUA at MAC and it looked great - but when I came home I've decided it was horribly yellow and didn't match me. I was 15 and didn't know much about my skin then. 5 years later, I can't do without on my bad skin days. PROS: It is a perfect colour match (NW 40) - Velvety finish - SPF 15 - Medium non-cakey coverage - Easy to blend with my fingers - With a little bit of Blot Powder it lasts quite long (let's not be expecting miracles here, ladies) - A little goes a long way CONS: Setting it with powder is absolutely necessary. - Rubs off on clothing - Highlights flakiness somewhat I don't suggest using a primer under it, as the texture is already rich on its own. A lightweight moisturizer will suffice. A concealer should be used under the foundation and set with powder (additionally in the t-zone) - this will also improve the lasting power of the foundation itself.

Eye Shadow -Milani - Eyeshadow in Shock #15

BUY. THIS. This is by far my most favourite purple e/s and God knows I have a lot of those. It is truly unique. Cold shade of purple with blue and silver sparkles, but the shimmer isn't over the top. It packs a punch - the pigmenting is ridiculous, with one swipe you get a ton of product on. It goes on velvety-smooth and is long-lasting. I get no fall-out at all. It's perfect, and the best of it is - it's cheap! Now the size of the pot might put one off but you only need a teeny tiny bit for the colour to be beautifully saturated. Only downside - the clasp breaks my nail from time to time when i try to open the lid.

Eye Makeup Remover -Nivea - Eye Make-Up Remover

Horrid. I don't even wear water-proof makeup, but it wouldn't remove my mascara (I don't even use that much). I'd wake up to clumpy eyelashes, and it made them shed! My gorgeous lashes! You have to rub like a maniac to get the ink off your lower lid and it irritates it and dries it out. Costs a lot of money for a tiny amount. All in all, everything I've ever used by nivea is poor quality. My tip: use olive oil or rice bran oil. Gets rid of everything in a swipe and moisturizes your lashes, while the oil particles are too big to clog your pores.

Mascara -Rimmel - Sexy Curves

WOW. I have naturally long and thick lashes, so I don't find mascaras necessary, and only use them for colour fun. (I LOVE YSL lengthening mascaras) Lately I've been looking for something to give them a nice curl. I hesitated a lot because many mascaras are clumpy and flaky, but this baby girl is amazing. It accentuates my lashes but doesn't make them look overly dramatic. If used with a lengthening/thickening mascara, I get a great false-lash effect. I was thinking of splurging on a lash curler, but I don't have to anymore! I got mine in Intense Black, because I thought it wouldn't be too pigmented - but it was, damn. I think I'll get plain Black the next time - I'm a fan of a more natural look. Oh yeah, my boyfriend keeps staring at them. If a guy can notice the change, then I've got some serious value for money. ;) Will buy again and again and again and again, as it's affordable and often on sale. Also, I love the purple tube! This mascara has serious attitude! Bam-chicka-wah-wahh

Liquid -Clinique - Superbalanced Foundation

Meh. Kinda-sorta. The third foundation I've tried for my skin. Pros: - Lightweight, glides on - especially with a good primer. - Blends easily. - Sheer. - Evens out the skin. Cons: - Oxidizes within an hour! It looks especially bad when you set it with non-transparent powder. - Doesn't work well as a concealer. - Not really meant for oily/combination skin - but it doesn't turn you into a greaseball. Nothing special. Quite pricey. Save your money.

Lipstick -Sephora - Lip Attitude - Glamour

Finally a lipstick that fits me! I've always wore glosses and I'm not a fan of them, but nothing else complemented my skintone than a competely sheer lipgloss. ;( There was a neat sale today, three sephora products for 10 euro, and I hauled two lipsticks: G14 and C15. My ideal ideal IDEAL colour was G15, but it was all gone. ;( I will definitely be on the lookout for that one. They're smooth, with a great finish, and last quite a while. I've tested it by sipping tea for 10 minutes, and then by sweating at Curves. I still have gorgeous lips. I don't think it'll last the dinner though. I took a lippy off because it's not my HG yet. I'm sure I can get something better, but it's a must staple for me!
