Tinted Moisturizer -E.L.F. - Tinted Moisturizer Spf 15
NaomiHa 3/24/2013 9:52:00 PM
Intro: $1 can be found on eyeslipsface.com sometime can be cheaper during their 50% off sale, kmart, target (some stores, not all), sometimes biglots & dollar store. MY SKIN TYPE: acne prone combo skin (mainly dry & have dry patches) Please keep in mind that this is a tinted moisturizer, not a foundation, hence the coverage is fairly sheer, and light. and have a dewy finish, I would not recommend this to those with very oily skin. Some people are comparing it to BB creams, which you should not be doing so, mainly because BB Creams are sightly different compared to tinted moisturizers. I've read some of the reviews some noted that there is a scent to it, I however have no recollection of a scent. Length of the product is a little over 3.5 inch. and comes in a small squeeze tube, which I love, its not messy like the pour out kinds, and making it great to carry in your purse or traveling. I got this as an extra during a swap, and it have currently made into my everyday makeup routine. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ It can be drying and if you put on your facial moisturizer (with spf) first and layer this tinted moisturizer it will show every single one of your imperfections, can get fakey if you have dry skin. TO FIX this problem, I mixed with my aveeno daily moisturizer with 15 SPF, and with the tinted moisturizer (half/half) it comes on smoothly and beautifully and this prevents creasing!!! I've been using this for almost two months now and I am still on my first tube. AS FOR BREAKOUTS: For the first week, I got this burning sensation but decided to give it a try since my skin rarely reacts good when I try anything new on it (when i used this product only I had a horrible breakout with cystic acne etc it was horrible and painful). I stopped using it until my face cleared up. Decided to give it one more try and end up mixing it with my daily moisturizer no breakout since and no burning sensation! with the exception of one huge cystic pimple due to time of the month. With all that being said, I however, will not be purchasing this product. mainly because, it is a hassle having to mix it with my moisturizer and making sure it will match me after I have mix it. I might buy it if I know I have a trip coming and have limited packing space.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Expert Wear Eye Shadow Quads
NaomiHa 1/24/2013 12:42:00 AM
You can get this relatively cheap roughly between $4-$6 USD at Walmart/CVS/Walgreens etc. If you go to CVS there is always a sale on maybeline such as their bucks back or buy one get on 50% off. Sometimes you can also find this at Dollar Tree OR Dollar General for dirt cheap. I've gone through probably 3 or 4 of these. So I believe I know a little bite about this particular item. Packaging is average, I am only giving it a 3 because only because the clear plastic thing ALWAYS break off on me, but what can you expect from something that is so cheap. Color pay off is great, sometimes, (as long as you don't get a dud) the pigmentation is good even without primer. Natural Smokes is my go-to. If its a day look I usually don't use a primer to look more natural, but with a primer I can turn it into a dark neutral smokey eye. I've never had a problem with fading, creasing, smudges, etc. The blendable is easy as long as you use dry, I had a GF that recommend doing it wet and it was horrible, and ruined a quad. Love the fact that its so small I can carry in my purse, or travel bag.... If they fix the packaging I would rebuy in a heart beat, I will always rebuy it. however I think I might venture out somewhere else, only because it always breaks on me, and I do not find that sanitary at all.

Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub Blemish and Blackhead Control
NaomiHa 1/12/2013 11:02:00 AM
CVS Retails under $4 Walmart Sometime has two packaged together for $6 There are different kinds!!! Packaging: the main reason why I am giving it a 3 is because the first week of buying one, a bottle bursted on the side so I have to put it in a container. Suggestions: Your skin re-new it self during night so it best to use it before you go to bed. If you do it during the day time you can cause yourself to get sun damage due to raw skin Invigorating scrub: this one is very abbrassive I suggest using this one once every week, no more than that. You will only need a dime size to clean your face. Please do not use a brush it can cause scratches and tears to your skin which is what happened to me. Gentle scrub: I use this every other day, its less abrassive than the invigorating scrub, and gentle to use. You can use this with a foam brush. The beads are however still too large and rough to be using it with a brush that uses bristles.

Shampoo -Pantene - Nature Fusion Smooth Vitality
NaomiHa 1/12/2013 9:31:00 AM
I got this product on sale at CVS on top of that I had CVS beauty bucks and manufracture coupons for both the shampoo and conditioner. I got the two largest bottles they sell. In grade school-middle school Pantene always made my hair fall out (not crazy but more than its suppose to) So during highschool I switched to something else. This particular formula did not give me this problem, HOWEVER, it gave me rash patches and scabs on my head.... Usually a bottle this size would last me about 7 months, I've had this product for well close to two years. Not because its so big... but because I am afraid of it. This rash didnt start happening until 4-5 months into using this product. But not only i had this on my head, I would sometime get it on my back. There was a time I just stop using both for 2 months, and all my problems went away, but just sitting two bottles taking up space I started to use it again, and the problems came back. After trial and error, I learned that it wasnt both shampoo & conditioner that was giving me this problem... It was just the shampoo, the condictioner is fine. However this product causes product build up like crazy. My head is always greasy, and it stinks up quickly.

Concealers -Hard Candy - Nobody's Perfect concealer palette
NaomiHa 5/20/2012 10:01:00 AM
Priced at $8 in Walmart stores. I believe this is also Walmart exclusive. The first 2 months the product has been creamy and never crease. I basically fell inlove. soon after the darkest color got gloopy, and dried. the other colors started to crease. Though the green and salmond color stayed strong. I began to have a love hate relationship with this pallete. The producted started off really creamy and nice, after 2 months it changed and got dried and chalky, creases, basically a living hell (EXCEPT the green and pink). Comes with a horrible brush, I use the I.E. Bare minerals concealer or the ELF studio conceal brush to apply the product. The product has not once broken me out. after each application i spot clean my brush before grabbing more products due to very acne prone skin. Concealer: It comes with 3 concealer colors that you can mix to get your desired color. It also came with the green concealer which cancels out redness. the Yellow cancels purple and is usually uses for bruises on legs lol and undereye area. IT also helps covers veins that can appear on eye lids. Lastly the light pink color, is used for brightening, can be used as a highlighter to accuate your features without shimmer. This product has last me a good year and im finally almost done with this. Lately I have been into dry brushing, i think its whats its called, basically means I use the concealers as concealer and foundation <--- i just want to get rid of it. the darkest concealer shade was a dud after the 4 months mark its so hard its impossible to get to. The two lighter shade i have been using for foundation. Yellow: The Yellow I dont see myself using since it creases the most out of the other concealers. I am going to throw this pallete away once all but the yellow and the darkest shade has been use without looking back. Green: i find this green option to be the best out of the 6 choices. I also found this to be one of the best green concealers out there. < its not chalky, and easily blendable. it stayed as it did since i first got it.... i actually thing the product got more creamy over time. this color and the pink color gives me a love hate relationship for this pallete. Pink: Same goes with the pink. the consistancey seem like it got creamer over time. I used this to highlight my cheek bone, my nose bridge, cupids bow, and bottom lip. It gets chalky after 3 hours of application however. (only around the nose and lip area, cheeks stayed the same) but these two alone are not worth it to justisfy to repurchase this product. I also have the Costal scent pallete, The green on that pallete is really chalky and bright. basically almost highlighter green. another love hate relationship product.

Eye Shadow -Physicians Formula - Baked Collection wet/dry eye shadow
NaomiHa 5/19/2012 11:50:00 AM
Have this in Baked Smokes & Baked sugar I got this when it first came out which was $12-$15. but now its $8-$10. either way I find this pretty expensive for being a drugstore product. They are ultra shimmery and sheer, not really pigmented. sometime can come off chalky on your eyes. I'm almost done with Baked sugar so I am going to review this one first Its basically your skin but shimmery, only because its very sheer. I used all three (not at the same time) to brighten up my eyes. I used the two brown colors most, and have completely gone through it. I remembered it being very messy, meaning over time my whole face got shimmery from the shadow on my eyes. now I only have the white color left, which is the most pigmented out of them all. I tried it as a eye brightener, I wouldnt suggest this since its sooo white and shimmery its not good at all. however I have been using it as a highligher which kinda work. but since I am almost done with it (project pan) I am going to deal with it. There is still fall out but i guess since its on my upper cheek bone it doesnt fly all over the place (dry skin oily lids maybe). but I love this shadow as a highligher Baked smokes the two lighter shades on the dome looks completely different but when you apply on your eyes they look completely the same. I was obsessed with this trio because I used to do nothing but smokey eye but now I have gone to natural. I do turn to this trio when i have date night. I love this trio HOWEVER the only problem I have with this is the same problem with the baked sugar. With baked sugar you can't tell with fall out as much because theres no color to it. but with baked smokes... theres no getting away with it. I suggest using a primer. with the packaging, I had both lids on both trios broke on me, the packaging is just very cheap and poor quality. it is also bulky. The sponge tip allwas falls out but if you really put it in there, it gets stuck and is impossible to take out unless you have long nails to dig it out. NOTE if you use these dry expect tons of fall outs, HOWEVER if you wet your brush a little, there will still be fall out but not as much. I do love the look it gives, if it didnt have so much fall out. Once I have gone through the two trio that i have I will not be repurchasing this.I would not recommend this at all to anyone with oily lids

Blush -Maybelline - Dream Mousse Blush - All colors [DISCONTINUED]
NaomiHa 5/18/2012 12:52:00 AM
I had multiple colors of these but the only one i have left is #10 Pink Frosting (currently doing project pan) pretty colors! and great selections. however, i find this specific color really glitery I dont remember the other colors but I remember most of them were very glittery, which gets all over your face, neck and check throughout the day. I have a love hate relationship with these. I love the colors and pigmentation the blush alone can be very easily blendable. but if you accidently grab too much. just wash your face it will be impossible of "fixing it" I stopped using maybelline's dream mousse anything only because it broke me out like crazy. but now Im on a regime that keeps breakout at bay. today with the current skin care routine. i still get bumps from this... not acne... just bumps. however I can't see myself throwing my last jar away especially since i have like 15% left so I am trying to finish it up but after I am done with my last jar, I will no longer be buying this line ever again only because it causes breakouts. another thing i dislike this product... is the packaging, its heavy bulky and in a jar. <-- probably how i get my breakouts. other than that I love the color selection, pigmentation, if it wasnt for my problems with this product I would love this product. I wanted this to work. but meh not much i can say about this product.

Moisturizers -Nivea - Creme
NaomiHa 5/14/2012 9:59:00 AM
This stuff sells in USA but can be hard to find and no the ones made in Mexico is not the same. I have been using this since I was a baby and does wonders on me skin once I get a hold of it. I've never tried this on my face only because I have acne prone to sensitive skin and is afraid to try too. It is non greasy and has a clean baby powder like scent. Ones made in Mexico however is and kinda stinks. Whenever I do find it however it's really cheap under 5usd. I've mostly find it in target but rarely. My aunt lives in France and on Christmas every year we only get a huge box of this stuff haha. I just dislike the packaging it's in a tin which I find unsanitary and because the cream is so thick and rich anything can easily get stuck in there

NaomiHa 5/12/2012 10:05:00 AM

I noticed my face lasting longer not so much on my eyes. first off... it stinks... but only for the first minute you don't smell it anymore after that... thats the only reason my overall rating is 4. Other than that i would purchase this in the future.

Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - EXTRA VIRGIN Coconut Oil (All brands)
NaomiHa 4/14/2012 3:07:00 PM
Coconut oil is a cheap and fantastic multi-purpose product. for a LARGE jar at walmart it was only $6. Though prices does vary... the most expensive I've seen it for was generally about $12 for the same amount of product. The jar is quite large (31.5 FL OZ) and it has lasted me a little over a year. I am completely obsessed with this... I use this to cook but also beauty related items such as: Hair: it helps make the hair shine without weighing it down or making it greasy, it smells so good, and can sometime defrizzes your hair.*As long as you take a dime size and rub it with your fingers and use your fingers to comb your hair........ you dont have to worry about greasy feelings. Lips: I have really dry burning lips. so at night before I go to bed I would scrub my lips and put this on the next day it is still there and my lips are super soft. Feet: Idk about deoderizer BUT it softens my heels. I would put this on at night before bed and have my sock on... next day. almost baby soft! down size... you can always find it in a jar so it can be a little unsanitary especially if you also use it for cooking.... try using it with a spoon to get out your product. Dry skin: I have put this on my face where it tends to flake and it has not cause me to break out.... and I have sensitive acne prone skin. I also put this all over my body. it feels great. from the review below apparently it can help remove dandruff... which I need to try out so I will update this in the future

Treatments -Biore - Ultra Deep Cleansing pore strips
NaomiHa 4/14/2012 2:46:00 PM
Price: normally 8-12 USD depending on how many strips you're willing to buy. you might think oh $8 bucks thats cheap.... but you go through these quickly and it thens to add up. I find packing normal, and very neutral reason why I give it a 3. My personal opinions: sometime it works and gets everything out. and sometime it gets little to none at all.... but then again i dont really have much so I can't speak for myself. I have dry skin. HOWEVER my boyfriend (combo skin)... you can see his literally a foot or more away on his nose.... and I barely does the job that it claims. If you're using this before an event I highly suggust doing it AT LEAST one hour before since it can cause redness.... for my boyfriend he only get red for a few minutes. but as for me, sometime i stay red for 5 to 30 mins. it depends on how sensitive you are. Quick overview: cons: -expensive over time -doesn't always work -the scent smells like elmers glue no joke.... i personnally detest the smell -sometime can peel off your skin -it feels like you have a cast on your nose -hurts to peal it off Pros: -if you use it long enough I noticed my pores getting smaller - you can find this product anywhere, walmart, cvs, grocery store, etc except clothing stores and maybe gas station. I personally stop buying these. occassionally I would get them during a swap or so.... other than that I just make my own that I found a DIY on Michelle Phan's youtube video. and it works just as good, and less painful. smell is still horrible however lol

Scrubs -Biore - Pore Perfect Pore Unclogging Scrub
NaomiHa 4/6/2012 8:54:00 PM
got this during a swap since i didnt want to pay for something and end up not liking it. I must say using this alone, it was alright nothing to fancy, though i do love the smell. I wasnt in love with it. I used it for a week saw no difference. But once i decided to try it out with my brush cleanser (DermaNew brush) i feel in love... it had a tingly sensation. My face started to look brighter that day, and then after the next day I noticed my chin area started to clear up real nice. the packaging was standard, though i do wish it come out of a pump, sometime i feel like i accidently squeezed out too much which kinda is a bummer bc i dont know what to do with the left overs, its kinda gross to put it back to the tube. but its not the worse packaging so i give it a 3 as neutral. I've only used it for about a month but so far so good, I will have to update this review within the next month or so

Primer/ Corrector -Physicians Formula - Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Primer
NaomiHa 2/23/2012 11:57:00 AM
$11 at CVS. however I only buy Physicians formula when they have their deals "spend $10 and get $7 back" *note* sometime this product can be find at the dollar store. Have been using this for 5 yrs now I find it kind of expensive (considering how much product you get) I hate the packagaing, i find it unsanitary, and I never know how much comes out, you kinda have to eyeball it. Also you can never tell how much you have left in the package. I am a college student who is studying art and film, so I dont have the money to be spending too much on a primer. I also find that all primers does basically the same thing and if you look at the ingredients most highend and drugstore basically have all the same ingredients.... I like that this primer is actually talc free... I have noticed that Talc is the main reason behind my breakouts. I also Like the fact that this has SPF of 15, which is great for indoors (I suggest a higer SPF if you are an outdoor girl) When the primer is applied on It makes your skin 2 shades lighter than it actually is. (wait about 3-5 mins) basically when its dry it goes back to your natural skin tone. I also like the fact that it tones down all my red spots and gives me a dewy apparenence. i usually wear this with my powder foundation or my BB cream then I walk out the door.... I can't really tell if your makeup actually stays on all day, but i know that it reduces MU transfer. I only buy this item when theres a CVS deal going on, other than that I would never pay 10.99 + tax for this product.

Eyeliner -E.L.F. - Cream Eyeliner - Coffee
NaomiHa 2/23/2012 11:46:00 AM
$3 on elf website. Packaging is kinda big and bulky, not something you can fit into a small purse/clutch I got this during a swap. Have been using this for about 2 weeks now When I swatched this product I thought " holy cow its creamy " then when i looked at my finger I thought, wow, its really rich. product (for me) last forever (especially if you pack on some powder brown eyeshadow ontop of it) it doesnt glide or fade throughout the day (with this technique). However when you apply it onto your eye, its not as rich as the swatch I did. I would apply it once, wait 30 seconds or so, then apply on another layer, soon after I lock it with my maybeline quad eyeshadow pallete (I cant find the name but its really popular on YT) I use the liner shadow ontop and it stays on all day.... from 6am when i get ready for class and to 7pm when i get home from class. Its also easy to wash off you dont have to scrub or anything. I will def. purchase this again

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Angled Eyeliner brush
NaomiHa 2/12/2012 3:07:00 AM
$3 on E.L.F's website purchased this brush because I wanted to try out a thin pointed kind of brush. Also because I love almost all of their Brushes... however I must say this is a HUGE miss for me. when you use it it bends, and the control is hard. I have nothing to say about this. I will be putting this up for swap once I clean it if anyone is interested and willing to try it. Try using the small angle brush for eyeliner thats what I did and it works perfectly
