This is gorgeous! I didn't expect to love it so much. It's a very simple, uncomplicated, one-note scent, but it conveys the most soft and clean scent you can imagine. I spritz this on after I shower and I feel even more fresh! It's just a nice little surprise. I also like that it's not wildly popular. It's like my little "best kept secret" scent.

Deodorants -Lavanila - The Healthy Deodorant

I am highly allergic to commercial antiperspirants so I'm always looking for non-irritating substitutes. This is labeled as a deodorant, but it actually keeps me dry with no irritation whatsoever. I've used all 4 scents. The scents are gorgeous, fresh and subtle. I hope they never discontinue these. Holy grail status!!!

Gels/Soaps -Dr. Bronner's - Almond Castille Soap

I'm kind of a soap freak. I usually have an entire drawer full of soaps at any one time. I keep around seven bars in my bath, one for each day of the week. I've used soaps made from all kinds of animal milks, fruit, veg and nut oils. I've ordered soaps from other countries and paid more for shipping than for the soap, just to try something different. I've collected soaps from my various travels. I've used soaps of all colors, shapes and scents. Yes, I am a self-proclaimed soap-a-holic. My favorite soap of all time was an obscure soap made by a Mormon company in Utah called Stevens soap. It was really, really amazing and I had friends send me dozens of the bars, even after I'd moved away. They discontinued it (boo) and since then I've been in search of a new favorite soap. After all the hundreds of bar soaps I've used I think I've finally found my holy grail of soap. It's this one! I especially love sweet smelling, creamy, moisturizing soaps that have quirky packaging and this one fits the bill to a tee. I couldn't ask for more in a soap. Perfection!

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Complete Salon Manicure Nail Polish

This polish gets 5 stars on the basis of the brush alone. It's totally revolutionary and I've never polished my nails faster or easier. The brush is flat and wide and covers my nails in two strokes, plus it gets color in along the edges without smudging. I adore it!!!! I bought this in the color "Ring My Shell" which is a gorgeous iridescent silvery-white pink. I think it took all of 2 minutes to do my nails with one coat and they look fantastic. HUGE RAVE!

Ugh, huge chunks of gold glitter in a frosty gold base. Nothing like I expected from reading the reviews here. I expected a subtle, sheer, gold shimmer. Way too theatrical and gaudy for most women. Very disappointed.

Hair Styling Tools -T3 - Evolution

I bought the T3 Bespoke Labs Evolution blow-dryer and it was worth every penny. My results were incredible. I was really skeptical and not expecting it to be anything special and not living up to the price tag, but now I'm so glad I took the chance and got it. At first I was worried because it didn't seem to blow out air that hard, but... Some highlights: 1) Dried my hair in record time. 2) Hair is super shiny. Looks like I just put shine serum in it. 3) Hair is so smooth it looks as if I ran a flat-iron through it. No issue with frizz or fly-aways at all. Also feels baby soft and silky. 4) I used a round brush and not only did it curl faster, but the curl held longer than it normally does. It started snowing on me outside so the humidity levels were high and my hair did not go flat or frizz up. It looks as smooth and shiny as when I blew it dry 5 hours ago. WOW. I am so impressed. I just love this blow-dryer. I love when a product really does work like it says it will.

Conditioner -Modern Organic Products (MOP) - mixed greens conditioner

This is one of the best conditioners I've ever used. I can't believe how good my hair looked after using this conditioner and then letting it air dry. It brought out waves and even curls in my seemingly straight hair that I never knew I had before. My hair felt soft, wavy and had much more body than usual. Even my husband commented on how good my hair looked and you know it had to be quite an amazing difference in order to get noticed by him. This is a man who barely noticed when I dyed my hair red! lol I like the subtle scent very much. It's hard to describe, but it's nice and fresh. It also has a fluffy, almost creamy "lather" like a shampoo. I've never used a conditioner that was like this. It's almost as if air was whipped into it.

Blush -NARS - Torrid

The NARS line is known for its blushes and this is one of the best. It's my go-to blush in the Fall. It just has the perfect late summer/early Fall look to it when it's on your cheeks. You know when the weather starts to change and the air gets crisp and cool but the sun is still shining strong? Torrid is the perfect blush for that kind of day. It's sort of the "Indian Summer" of blushes. Love!

This is an unscented lotion with nothing to irritate your skin or conflict with your perfume. It sinks right in and leaves the skin on my arms and legs silky soft and moisturized without a hint of greasiness. I just love it!

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder

This is one of the best products Maybelline has come out with in years. The colors are great. I'm a NC25-30 and Sand works perfectly for me. The texture is finely milled and a dusting of this sets my makeup for the entire day and doesn't get cakey. For this quality of powder it would still be a steal at twice the price.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Ultimate Expressions Eyeshadow Palette - Sand Castle - 396 [DISCONTINUED]

Bought this palette. Noticed some of the shadows had crumbled before I had a chance to use them. Must have happened in the bag during transport. Got a new, unbroken one. Used it twice. Loved the color. Slipped out of my hand (it's heavy and hard to open) and dropped all of 1 foot onto my table. It shattered. Will not repurchase. The shadows are way too fragile and will disintegrate at the slightest bump. Not worth it.

Cleansers -NARS - Gentle Cream Cleanser

This is my favorite cleanser to use for washing my face. It has a light, fluffy, creamy texture, a very mild scent and it does the job. It's just a wonderful product. My skin feels supple and refreshed after using it.

Cleansers -Clinique - Rinse-off foaming cleanser

I absolutely love this cleanser. It's my 2nd place HG cleanser after the Nars Gentle Cream Cleanser. It has a very neutral scent, it's not stripping, it's creamy, but not greasy, and it rinses off well. Contrary to other reviews, I find this not only removes my makeup, but also cleanses my skin as well. I will sometimes follow up with Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant.

Skincare - Face -Pro Activ - Renewing Cleanser

This product burned my skin within seconds of application. I couldn't rinse it off fast enough. My skin felt like I'd rubbed habanero pepper all over it. It was beet red, swollen and covered with welts. I felt like I had the worst sunburn of my life. This product should not be on the market. I've rarely had allergic reactions to products, but even when I did, it did not burn my skin this badly. This was off the scale. Horrid and painful.

Treatments (Eye) -Clinique - All About Eyes

I'm giving All About Eyes a 3 because when I put it on it started burning the skin around my eyes after a few minutes. I gave it to my husband to use because I didn't want to toss it. He used it and after a few days I could notice the fine lines disappear around his eyes and it reduced his dark circles. Didn't cause milia either. He's embarrassed to buy eye cream so now I have to buy this and pretend it's for me. LOL
