I have horrific undereye dark circles and this covers them beautifully. It's a very peach color which seems odd when you first look at it but it really does blend in with your skin and give the area a bright look. One of the best parts is that it stays on all day without sinking into the lines around my eyes. It truly is creaseless. Like the other reviewers said, you have to squeeze really hard to get it out of the tube but don't squeeze too hard! You need approximately a drop the size of a pin for each eye. If you use a wee little bit, you'll get the coverage you want without creasing. It's a great product, yes, but it's also expensive. I'll still buy it again.
This is a lightweight oil that hydrates the skin without that heavy feeling that a layer of oil is sitting on top of your skin. I don't use it all the time but when I do, I wake up the next morning with soft skin that looks and feels lovely. It's super expensive though. Why?
Compared to other oils I've used, this is heavy and just sits on my skin, doing nothing. It's overpriced because it's at Josie Maran product. Skip this and try Tarte Maracuja Oil instead.
I have dehydrated, sensitive skin with rosacea and this is a great toner for my skin. It's simple and effective. It removes any trace of cleanser or eye makeup that might be left over from washing my face. It's soothing and doesn't have a bunch of superfluous ingredients. It's a great, simple product. One of the best things about MB products is that they are dirt cheap. They're spa quality products at prices that are competitive with drugstore/mid end skincare. One lippie off because it's really watery. Be careful that you don't squeeze half the bottle on your cotton pad.
Laura Mercier makes great lip gloss. It's not sticky, it has ok lasting power and feels great on my lips. I love Discrete because I have highly pigmented lips and this gives them the perfect pop of color. It's a beautiful rose color and highlights my lips without being overpowering. This is always in my makeup bag. On those days when I can't decide what lipstick to use, this is always there and always looks great.
In general, love LM lip glaces but this one is not for me. "Barely" is exactly the right word for this color. It barely does anything. I have very highly pigmented lips and was looking for something to throw on as an every day lip gloss either on its own or over lipstick. After a few tries I figured why bother? All it does is add shine and I couldn't care less about that. I want a bit of pigment.
If Ulta weren't the only place around that carried LORAC and Mario Badescu, I would never go in this store. It's bright and clean and nicely organized but most of the stuff is a pile of junk. And don't get me started on SAs who don't understand the meaning of the word "sensitive skin." Maybe I'm being sensitive but when I say I have rosacea, any SA working in a skincare store should know that they shouldn't push glycolic acid products on me. The prospect of salon hair car products was intriguing until I discovered that they don't sell the two brands I use -- L'Oreal Professionel and Kerastase.
I'm not sure how many bottles of this I've bought (10?). When I run out, I just get another one. That's how great it is for my skin. I have dehydrated, extremely sensitive skin with rosacea. This is the perfect moisturizer for me. It keeps my skin calm and soft. I'm not sure why others are saying it's expensive. It's $20 for 2 ounces and you only need a dime sized amount. I also suspect that the reviewers who say it's too heavy or sits on top of their skin might be using a bit too much of it. Need I say that after 10-ish bottles, it's my holy grail?
I can't believe the great reviews for this product because it was a terrible product from the second I opened the tube to the second I washed it off of my face. I have dry, rosacea skin and I was looking for a hydrating mask that wouldn't irritate my skin. I'd been having good luck with MyChelle's Hyaluronic Acid serum and thought I'd give this a try. As soon as I opened the tube, I should have put it away. The smell was not only strong, it was unpleasant (to say the least). I decided to give it a try anyway. Right away it started to tingle. That's never a good thing for rosacea. I left it on (like the idiot I am) for 20 minutes and washed it off. Results: red, blotchy cheeks. Dry skin. Return.

Edit: I realized after a couple of weeks (I didn't use this every day) that it was causing my rosace to flare up. I should have known when I smelled the strong rose scent that it was going to be trouble. Now I'm on the hunt for plain hyaluronic acid without additives. After slathering on oil after oil and gloppy cream after gloppy cream, I finally found what my skin needed -- hyaluronic acid. I found this at Whole Foods and paid a ton for it! $42! I've since discovered other places where I can get it online for about half of that so when I run out of this bottle, I'll buy online instead. Ok, so here's the deal. My skin is mature, dry, sensitive and has rosacea. Lately my skin has been feeling extra try so I've been trying everything to try to get it more hydration with no luck. Someone on the boards suggested Hyaluronic Acid and wow! I'm glad they did. After two days of using this my skin is soft and doesn't have that itchy tightness. This is the only product I changed in my routine so I know this is what's making a difference. My packaging is different from the one shown in the profile. It's a glass pump. It takes two pumps a day to get hydrated but not oily skin. It's amazing.
I have rosacea and I LOVE the green version of this for covering up the redness in my cheeks. Within seconds of applying it, I can see the redness drain from my cheeks. It's amazing, incredible, wonderful but I don't like applying it all over my face because it does leave a greenish cast. I removed one lippie because it is expensive. Fortunately, I use a pea sized amount so it lasts a long time. Another reason for no perfect score is that it does dry my cheeks out. I have dry skin already and this doesn't help with the dehydration. Overall, reducing the redness trumps any other issues I have. It's almost a miracle product.
This is really just a bad product all around. I have rosacea and I wanted something to cover the redness and give some healing properties. I like BE matte foundation and I do believe there is something to that Active Soil Complex that helps my skin. I thought this would help cover up a mild/moderate flareup but I should have know that yellow does not cover red. (Green does). I applied it by gently patting my skin with the brush provided and the loose yellow powder. No coverage. Add more powder. No coverage. Add more. Now my face looked yellow and red. What the? Really? Definite return. Note to self: GREEN is on the opposite side of the color wheel from RED. That's why it diminishes the appearance of redness.
I own one blush and this is it. Yes, I know, I should hand in my MUA card for only having one blush but this is all I need. I am MAC F&B N2 with rosacea. I have to be really, really careful about blush colors. If it's too brown, it looks like dirt. If it's too peach, it looks fake and if it's too pink, it looks like a rosacea flareup. Enter LORAC Rose, a dusty rose that gives me a hint of natural flush on my cheeks without any of those undesirable looks I wrote about above. This is very highly pigmented so I tap my blush blush a couple of times on the blush, tap off the excess and apply lightly. It brightens my entire face and makes my eyes look alive. Love this stuff! It's the only blush I need.
Yes, big fat lashes with one coat. That's great but after a few weeks, this starts to get thick and goopy and difficult to use. I find myself constantly wiping the brush which is a huge waste of product.
This is a great mascara if you want feathery lashes. It doesn't seem to give much volume but it coats all of my lashes evenly and gives them a very delicate look. I would buy this again even though I usually prefer thick lashes but for a softer look, this will be my go-to mascara.
