Treatments -Neutrogena - Rapid Clear Acne Eliminating Gel

This is the second time I have bought this gel. The first time my face was suffering from really bad hormonal acne and this gel helped clear it up. At that moment I wasn't in love with it but it got the job done. This time I only had two cystic pimples on my cheeks that were not going away with my usual triple antibiotic ointment I use now when I get a pimple somewhere, so I decided to get this again. I started using it three times a day since Sunday. It is now Wednesday and one of the pimples is down to 1/4 of its original size and the other one is virtually gone. You can't tell that I have a pimple on each cheek anymore. This stuff works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You only need a little bit so you get a lot of use of the little bottle so the price is super if you compare it to other acne treatments. I already found what works for my occasional acne now and I am not steering away from it.
Powder -Prescriptives - All Skins Mineral Foundation spf 15

My grandmother is a die hard Prescriptives fan and turned all her daughters and grandaughters into fans as well. I have used other Prescriptives products and I have loved all of them I got this foundation when my grandma got it in the wrong color for her ( she is paler than me) and when I tried it it was the perfect color for me, which is Level 2 Warm Medium. It goes on so smoothly on the face, no cakeyness. When I started using it my face had like 7 pimples around my cheeks but this covered them perfectly and it has SPF 15 as well and that is always a plus. I took a concealear brush and concentrated on my problem areas and they were all gone. I used to wear it everyday to class, because I didn't look like I had foundation on. It's expensive, like all Prescriptives products so I'm only using it on special occasions. I heard Prescriptives is being pulled so if you can go out and get this foundation because it is amazing if you're looking for a mineral foundation that doesn't make you look like you just stepped into a pan of powder or that you are wearing foundation. It lasts a long time too, a little goes a long way. Definitely a good buy from Prescriptives!!!
Cleansers -Garnier - Nutritioniste Nutri-Pure Daily Exfoliating Gel Cleanser

I got this on a whim and my face looooved it!!!!!!!!! It has a tingly feeling on the skin that feels like its really detoxifying your pores and leaves your face squeaky clean. Its a scrub but gentle enough to use daily and it lasts quite some time too. Sadly, thanks to my hormones I had to stop using it for a while because I developed a serious case of hormonal acne and this just wasn't meant to clear up acne. But now that my face is as acne free as it will be, I'm back to using this and I will continue using this as long as my acne remains under control.
Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Triple Antibiotic Ointment

This thing is great for the original purposes, treating scraped knees and cuts, etc. I use it for that and for treating blemishes that just won't seem to go away with anything else. It doesn't cure them in 8 hours but it does bring the head up by the next day and when it's gone, no scars!!! which is more than I can say for other treatments. Everyone should have this in their first aid kit for the obvious and if you have a pimple that just won't go away, give this a try.
I wanted to try this a few times before I reviewed it and I have to say I'm in love with this mask!!!!!!!!!!! The first time I used it my face was so clean and smooth my mom stopped me in the hallway and was shocked at how glowy and clean my face looked. After battling with acne for the past 6 months I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm currently using the Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub, an aspirin mask once a week and the Mint Julep Mask just perfected everything. You can really see the oil that was clogging your pores. It's so cheap and it works better than the ProActiv Refining Mask. Everyone needs to get this even if you're not acne prone. It smells like toothpaste to me and it does sting a bit when you first put it on but I actually love that feeling, so please...go to your nearest drugstore and GET THIS ASAP!!!!!!
Toners -Neutrogena - Clear Pore Oil-Controlling Astringent

I used to use this everytime I washed my face. It was the worst thing I could have done. It burned and dryed my skin really bad. Now I only use it when I'm taking off my makeup. What I do is take my makeup off, use the Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub and then I put this on. This way I make sure there's no makeup residue on my face when I go to sleep. I'll also use this if I've already washed my face but my face is a bit oily and I'm going out or something. It stings a lot and for a long time. I always have aloe vera on the fridge so when I use this toner I put aloe vera on my nose and cheeks (where it stings the most) and the burning goes away. If you can't handle a heavy burning sensation I don't recommend this. It does what it's meant to do so for that I gave it 4 lippies. My face likes it, just not all the time.
Scrubs -Biore - Pore Perfect Pore Unclogging Scrub

I don't know if I'm using this scrub the wrong way. The little scrubby things don't really exfoliate my skin and my nose still has clogged pores. And I've tried it with my face really wet, I've tried it with just wetting my face a little bit and my nose is still as clogged as it was. The salycilic acid has kept my acne at bay so that's why I don't regret buying this but I thought that this scrub would clear my nose and chin. I have to use ProActiv Refining Mask or an aspirin mask after steaming my face to see some results. This is more a cleanser than an actual scrub and I recommend it to maintain your acne under control but not for the purposes it claims.
Has anyone noticed that you need a looot of time to see this thing working? I'm pretty sure this could be used to maintain smooth feet but not to get them for the first time. I like it but I don't love it.
My face became really acne prone after a week of taking Provera. I had 7 pimples on my face within 3 days and I've never had more than 2 at once (and that only happened a week before my period). My grandmother got me ProActiv and that made me breakout worse. After seeing a video in YouTube about this product I decided to give it a try with Rapid Clear Acne Eliminating Gel. I used the cleanser two times a day and twice a week I used it as a mask. Within a week my face was visibly smoother, the breakouts I had were almost gone and the new ones that appeared while using this were smaller and healed faster. The mask is amazing. I use it when my face gets really oily. It is a bit drying but if you're using a good moisturizer after this its quite manageable. I'm already on my second bottle. Now that my face has cleared up I'm using a scrub in the morning to get rid of the scars and this cleanser in the morning. I clearly recommend this to people with acne prone skin.
Moisturizers -Biore - Nourish Moisture Lotion SPF 15
NadiaV 6/11/2009 1:34:00 PM
I ran out of my Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion I was using and I asked my mom to get me an oil-free moisturizer. When I got it it felt really good on my skin, it absorbed really good and I looked glowy, not oily. Since I don't have a moisturizer to use at night, I put it on after using my benzoyl peroxide spot treatment for a few blemishes I had, and OMG!!! everytime I patted it on my face I would see white little clumps of moisturizer on my hands and face. I tried it the next day after letting the spot treatment set for a few minutes and I still got the clumps. If anyone has experienced this, please let me know that I'm not crazy. I just tried it again without the spot treatments and it went on my face just fine. If your face doesn't have a blemish on it and you're not prone to acne I think this is a good moisturizer for you. Despite the apparent conflicts with my acne treatment, it's working fine for me.
