I love this eyeliner. Very black, easy to use, long wearing, doesn't smudge, doesn't fade and has a matte finish. Unfortunately, it's been discontinued where I live :(
I finished the hole bottle and didn't notice any results.
This thing is so cheap. Poor quality. Period.
Highlighters -Christian Dior - Shimmer Powder 002 Amber Diamond, Spring 08

I had been looking for the best highlighter for few months or maybe a year. I read and heard a lot of reviews about different products such as NARS Albatross, Benefit High beam, Moon beam and MAC cream bases. I even went to the stores , swatched them and didn't like them - They seem to be glittery, then I saw this in MUA Top Picks and I was interested because I had never heard of it so I went to Sephora, swatched it and I kinda liked it, but I had higher hopes because of all the positive reviews here. Well, I've been using it for few weeks now (mainly on the cheekbones) and it's awesome! Thank you, ladies in MUA! The shimmer is so fine and doesn't show up. It just makes you look "glamorous and glowy". I think this is what they use on models and celebrities. The secret exposed :) Yes, it's expensive, but it will last you forever. Go and get it.
Foundations -Yves Saint Laurent - Perfect Touch Radiant Brush Foundation

Coverage: Medium. Finish: natural/satin. Recommended for normal to dry skin. Okay, when I first bought this about 2 years ago, my skin was oily, but now, I'm on Roaccutane so my skin has become normal (sometime the apples of the cheeks get dry). So I have experimented this foundation on both oily and normal to dry skin and I liked it on both, but I do love it more on my new normal skin. Notice that when my skin was oily I used to blot my face with a tissue paper after applying this foundation to achieve a natural look and BTW, I have some acne scaring around my jawline and some pigmentations on the temples. I have it in shade #6. I apply it after my Smashbox Photo Finish foundation primer and then I set it with Max Factor Creme puff powder and that makes my skin looks flawless, natural and not cakey ! Now, let's get to the brush. I don't know why people hate it. I think it's good. Yes It's not awesome, but it does the job and it's travel-friendly. I mean it's a built-in brush, what do you expect?! The only thing that I don't like about it is that it's hard to get it clean.
Love love love this color! So pretty and very natural. It almost matches my lip color but with warm undertone and that is exactly what I've been looking for, not the one that makes me look like a ghost. The lipstick itself is very creamy and pigmented and very comparable to high-end lipsticks. Well done, NYX. Highly recommended, specially for medium to dark skin tones.
It's anything, but "women"-related except for the pink packaging. It's so not feminine and it's very strong. I didn't like it, I wouldn't repurchase it and I wouldn't recommend it.
Amazing primer. It fills in the fine lines, evens out the skin texture, feels like velvet (not greasy at all!), makes the application of foundation easier and makes your makeup lasts longer. I noticed the difference after using this primer. I've been using it for a year and I love it.
Lip Treatments -The Body Shop - Lip Care Stick - Cocoa Butter
MyNameIsNorah 4/16/2011 3:00:00 PM
This is a really good chapstick. I got it because my dermatologist told me to get a lip treatment that includes cocoa butter 'cause it's moisturizing. Well, this chapstick does moisturize without making my lips sticky and it smells like chocolate - which is not my favorite scent, but it disappears in seconds, so that's fine. Would I buy it again?ummm, I don't know. I chose "yes" cause it's good, but I think there are some cheaper alternatives and it doesn't has SPF in it. (that's why I gave it 4 lippies) Bottom line: If you don't care about the price and the SPF and if you're not sensitive to the chocolate scent then I recommend it to you.
I got this color after waiting for 2 weeks since it was out of stock in my town and I fall in love with it immediately! It's SO gorgeous!! You can wear it alone all over the lid, on the lid with darker colors in the crease and the outer corner OR in the crease and the outer corner with a lighter color on the lid for a more natural look. One of my favourite colors of eyeshadow ever.
Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Body Cream - Sensual Amber
MyNameIsNorah 4/4/2011 4:21:00 PM
I LOVE this scent. It's very unique. You rarely can find it in body creams and lotions not like the floral scents that are very redundant (I still love them though). I use it in the evening because it's a bit heavy for the day. The cream itself is nice and moisturizing and I think the price is good, not cheap, but not expensive. This scent deserves the money anyways :) Highly recommended. UPDATE: I still love the scent, but the body cream started to smell like chemical stuff, weird. I don't know if this only happened to me or what. I still love the lotion and the body mist though. Never had this issue with them.
I hate to say this, but I'm kind of disappointed. The color payoff is not great because it's very hard to apply, dry and makes your lips dry too. So you have to strongly moisturize your lips. I don't think I will repurchase. I don't recommend it. The only thing I like about it is the color (mauve) and the fact that it's a twist-up liner.
Moisturizers -Garnier - Skin Naturals Soft 24-Hour Nourishing Day Cream
MyNameIsNorah 4/2/2011 9:27:00 AM
I like this product. I used to use the one for oily and combination skin which was a great, very light and not greasy moisturizer, but lately, I've been on roaccutane so my skin have been very dry that I had to switch to a thicker moisturizer and since I loved the one for oily skin, I thought this one will work good as well. Yes, it works well. It's affordable, heavier, moisturizing and still not greasy, but if you have a very sensitive skin then it may sting a little bit.
I've never ever used a powder foundation nor a translucent powder. I thought it's time to get one. So, I bought Creme Puff to 1)set my foundation and 2)to give me more coverage. Well, it did what I wanted and the color matches me perfectly!! (medium beige) I cannot compare it to another powder since it's my first one I got. Will re-purchase. Highly recommended for the same reasons I got it for.
Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - glysolid glycerin cream
MyNameIsNorah 3/26/2011 5:06:00 PM
I've been using this cream for years and it has been one of the best moisturizers ever. I always go back to it. It's very thick, but not as greasy as Vaseline. I apply it on my legs and elbows at night before I go to bed and when I wake up, I find that my skin is still soft !! awesome product, great price !
