Lip Gloss -Essence - Stay With Me

These are my favourite drugstore lipgosses. The formula is extremely creamy, smooth and non sticky. Not to mention some of the shades (Candy Bar and Hottest Pink) are packed with pigment. They don't last that long, 2 hours on me, but that's typical for any gloss. The brush is a little funny, but nothing that effects application too much.

I love these, so much that I own 20 of them. They've very affordable and come in a great range of colours. The brush on this is amazing, wide and easy to maneuver. Formula wise, these are non streaky and apply effortlessly. My favourite shades are No More Drama, Blue my Mind and Choose me. Definitely check these out.

Highlighters -TheBalm - Mary-Lou Manizer

This highlighter is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It's a soft gold with strong shimmer, not glitter. The formula is ultra smooth, buttery and easy to blend. On the skin, it makes your skin absolutely glow without being greasy or gritty, even on my oily skin. You can use this as an eyeshadow too. It's replaced my beloved Urban Decay Sin as my go to all over eye shade. Great job theBalm!

Blush -TheBalm - Hot Mama

One of my favourite blushes! The packaging is super cute and the mirror comes in handy. Hot Mama's formula is smooth, easy to blend and super pigmented. The colour is a warm pink with peach understones and golden shimmer. It's very versitile and looks great on my yellow toned skin. Not to mention it gives my face a beautiful glow. I recommend this too anyone in the market for a pretty peachy pink blush.

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Eye Studio Master Precise Ink Pen Liner
rated 3 of 5

I'm a little torn with this liner. I LOVE the brush on this. It's super thin and easy to build a thin or thick line. It lasts a good 8 hours on me, which is pretty amazing considering how oily my eyelids are. On the contrary, I hate the formula. The liner is not very black, and I end up having to shake the pen like crazy to get the smallest dispense of liquid. Bottom line is I won't be repurchasing.

BB Cream -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector - Light/Medium
rated 2 of 5
MuppaLova 6/16/2012 8:30:00 AM

I was excited to jump on the BB cream bandwagon, but I was disappointed with this product. The coverage on this is pretty good, light to medium and definitely more than your average tinted moisturizer. The smell was a little off putting, but nothing I couldn't handle. My main gripe with this product is the greasiness. Upon my first application, I couldn't help notice that my face looked like it had been slathered with oil. Even with my favourite powder the cream melts of my face within 2 hour, no matter the how hot or cold outside. BB creams are suppose to feel lightweight on your skin, but this felt quite heavy on my face. I will try to be economical and use it up, but I will definitely not be repurchasing.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette
rated 5 of 5

This palette is beautiful! The shadows are super pigmented, smooth and easy to blend. They make applying eyeshadow like a dream, though Hustle and Creep aren't as pigmented as the other eyeshadows. My favourite shades are Sin, Half Baked Toasted and Buck. The velvet culminates lint like crazy, but other than that I have no issues with the packaging. You can recreate so many looks with it, it's a must have for any makeup collection.
