Fantastic, full, but weightless coverage and excellent price. My only drawback is the tone of the concealor doesn't match my complexion. A bit too beige. But, I am making it work for me because it just works so well. I apply a tiny amount in a stipling motion and instant perfect coverage.
Primer/ Corrector -L'Oreal - Revitalift Miracle Blur
Msgdfx1 4/14/2013 1:38:00 AM
I like this product. It does what it says it does, however, provides zero coverage. You definitely will need a concealor if you have problem areas. But, it does a great job of smoothing the appearance of pores and fine lines. So, its a winner to me.
Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express Colossal Cat Eyes
Msgdfx1 2/15/2013 9:13:00 PM
Well, I fell for the schtick that this product will deliver a cat eyed look by emphasizing the outer eyelashes. Well, it does that. But, the formula is so weak and light, it really doesn't make a huge difference in my natural eyelashes. Not a great mascara.
Hair Color -L'Oreal - Feria Hair Color in Espresso (Deeply Brown)
Msgdfx1 11/10/2012 10:42:00 PM
I used this product today. It didn't wreck and ravage my hair, fortunately. But, I developed hot roots. I have been using Ion Colors in lt, med, and dark brown. The colors are so true and beautiful in the Ion Line and I never have this problem. But, back to Feria. I decided to use this as it was at a special price. Well, the color on the length is ok, but, I hate the orangery roots. Will not purchase again.
I recently used this product and found it surprisingly gentle. I like the foam application because it covers my thick hair. Typically I would buy 2 boxes. But the one box did the trick for me. I chose the dark brown tint. It developed pretty inky black but has lightened to a deep brown. The results are nice and pretty natural looking. I would repurchase.
Foundations -Unlisted Brand - Luminess Airbrush System
Msgdfx1 1/1/2012 1:15:00 AM
I recently treated myself to a Luminess Airbrush system and I am really pleased with it. I had been curious about the system after seeing a couple of presentations on HSN. When Luminess opened a kiosk in a local mall, I approached them for a makeover. I was truly astonished after the makeover. The finish is natural looking, luminous and lasts all day. If you can purchase the system from HSN, it will be a savings. I have seen it as cheap as $99.99 there. I paid $130.00 for the basic system. Also, if you can spring for a more advanced model with more features, I would recommend it. The salesperson helped me customize my foundation shade, so, it is an exact match. Expect a learning curve it, but, it is a fun process. Also, it is expensive, but, I consider it worth the expense.
Treatments -Avon - Solutions Plus Ageless Results line reducing concentrate

In conjunction with the rest of the Ageless Results line, this is making my skin incredibly soft and luminous. Love it.
Hair Color -L'Oreal - Feria Multi-faceted Shimmering Colour in #41 Rich Mahogany
Msgdfx1 2/20/2011 10:47:00 PM
I am a henna head, but, recently purchased this product to dye my roots when I couldn't get my hands on BAQ henna. At first, I was really concerned with the results. The color did not look natural. It looked ridiculous and I felt very self-conscious. But, after a few shampoos it settled into a nice, mahogany reddish/brown. Definitely on the deeper side. My hairline looks natural now, but, I don't see any of the highlights that are typically advertised with this product. I would definitely repurchase, however.

Really like this product. Provides moisturization and hydration to my dry, curly hair. And, the price is exceptional.
Fragrances -C.O. Bigelow - Green Tea Eau de Parfum
Msgdfx1 8/6/2010 9:33:00 PM
Recently purchased the Green Tea Eau de Parfum, Lotion and Bath Gel from BBW. I sampled the fragrance at one of the flag ships during the annual sale last month and I had to have it. The fragrance has sweet citrus, jasmine and green tea. It is so lovely and fresh. Today was the first day that I wore the fragrance and I received a compliment already. It is absolutely delightful. It smells wonderful. I generally like the C.O. Bigelow line of bath and body products at BBW, but, never purchase because of the price. But, this one, I will definitely make purchase again. Love it.
Primer/ Corrector -Avon - MagiX Tinted Face Perfector in Medium Deep
Msgdfx1 6/27/2010 9:50:00 PM
This is my favorite foundation type prodouct from Avon. I like it because it provides a gentle diffusion of color on my skin. Since, I really don't really need a lot of coverage, this product works nicely for me. I use Medium/Deep which is a tad light for me, but, it blends down really nicely. On sale at Avon, it is a steal. You don't get a lot of product, in the compact. The other downside is that it does not last. You definitely have to reapply ever so often. I apply in the morning and reapply a couple of times in the day. But, it is still one of my favs.
Hair Color -Garnier - Nutrisse Dark Intense Auburn
Msgdfx1 3/21/2010 12:24:00 AM
This is a pretty new product and I was anxious to try it. It promises to bring true auburn results to dark hair. Well, I am a henna head for a about 2 years, but, I also apply permanent color from time to time to even out the henna red color on my hair. I love henna, but, it does not provide lift. It only lays translucent color on top of your hair. So, I currently have 2 tone hair. The top half of my hair was a Brownish/Red and the bottom, older half is a Cherry Auburn. I was tired of my 2 tone hair and wanted this product to bring my entire hair to one color, a dark auburn. And, this product is designed to bring wonderful results to dark hair. Well, this product was unlike any other color I have ever tried. It vaugely smelled of amonia, but, it was not terrible. But, the color! Oh my gosh! It was a fluorescent orange on application and the die flew everywhere. I was so terrifed that my hair was going to result in a strange, organey mess. And, rinsing the dye in the shower was an experience. My shower looked like something out of a horror movie. There was orange, paint looking suds everywhere. It was a nightmare. I wish that I could say that after all of this, my hair came out genuinely beautiful. But, I can't. This dye pulled up a very, dark brown on my hair. Such a disapointment. The best thing about this coloring experience is that it was very, gentle on my hair. It really did not ravage my hair like most hair coloring products do. So, all in all. I think that it is a pretty fair product, however, it didn't deliver the color it promised.
I purchased this foundation in Soft Honey with great antacipation. I love the Magix primer as it literally morphs into my skin tone, so, I thought how could I go wrong with the foundation. Well, the color of this foundation is a bit off for my skin tone, unfortunately. It is a medium finish, matte foundation. It probably works well for oily and combination skin types because it keeps the oil at bay and lasts a long time. It is a bit too much coverage for me (as I prefer a natural coverage). But, I think that it works well for those that desire a medium to full coverage foundation, desire a light feel and want a perfected look. I don't see any luminesence in this product. It didn't seem to sink into my pores and fine lines either. So, all in all, it is a nice foundation, but, just a little too matte for me.
I samped this fragrance at Sephora recently and I just have to have it. The fragrance is a little pricey, but, it smells divine. It feels more like a spring, flirty tropical scent. And, it lasts and lasts which is rare for me. I just love it. My other favorite from this line is the Vanilla Grapefruit which is more sweet. This is more tropical with a touch of musk.
Hair Color -Unlisted Brand - hennaforhair.com Yemen Henna
Msgdfx1 1/10/2010 1:51:00 AM
I have been hennaing my hair for about two (2) years now and I love it. I purchased from Mehandi.com and I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. I have used several different hennas that are supplied by them, however, I love the Yemen because it builds up to a deeper, auburn color on my dark, hair. I henna about every 2 - 3 months and believe me, it is a job. I have to give myself a really, good conditioning treatment following the henna job and it is heck to rinse out, but, I have never been disapointed with the results.
