Cleansers -Neal's Yard - Palmarosa Face Wash

I was surprised at this cleanser; thought it wouldn't be enough for my acne prone skin, however i was wrong. It smells delicious and calming and is a very refreshing wash that is effective at remove dirt, grease and makeup whilst helping to control oiliness. Will definitely repurchase.

Really good at smoothing out the skin, i use it on my face a few times a week too. Has greatly helped to fade the dark spots on my chest and back and helps to rid my elbows and front of thighs of the small bumps i sometimes have (Keratosis). A bit pricey but worth it to prepare your back and chest for low slung summer tops and dresses.

I surprisingly like this shampoo. Pros moisturising Doesn't cause dry scalp A little goes a long way Non stripping Great for coloured hair Great for afro/ relaxed hair Smells nice Cons Takes forever to wash out of hair Build up can occur after two uses so a sulphate shampoo is needed

I love this stuff. It has a low PH so closes the cuticle of your hair, which means my hair is much shiner when i use this. As low PH products close the cuticle they help the hair in retain moisture which is great form my 4b relaxed locks. The keratin content is just enough to make my hair feel strong and elastic and not hard and brittle as some products make my hair feel. The price is extremely reasonable and the quality definitely out weighs the price so i will continue to repurchase.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express One by One

I cant believe this product has received such poor ratings. I love this stuff. I only wear mascaras that are very black as im dark skinned afro Caribbean and need my lashes to show up as much as they can. The very black version/ shade of this mascara make my lashes look shiny, long, separated and fuller. Would repurchase again and again!

I'm dark skinned black and would never have normally considered red lipstick. But this lipstick looks as great on me as it does on my Asian and White girlfriends. Give it a try ladies x

This product does nothing for my 4b relxed hair. It didn't make it shiny It didn't help control firzz It didn't make it moisturised The ingredients in this product can be found in your normal drug store products. This product is full of cones which do nothing more than try and make your hair feel good and don't provide any nourishing properties at all. With this product your just paying for the name brand as opposed to a fantastic product. Will sell mine remaining tube on ebay and will not be purchasing again.

Primer/ Corrector -MAC - Prep + Prime Face Protect SPF 50

I do love this primer but only if i use it in a specific way. If i use this product without a moisturiser then my face is matt all day long, and i mean not a bead of oil in site! Now if i use this product over my normal facial moisturiser the effects are so so. I've also noticed less is more with this product, the less i use the more shine control, if i use too much my makeup just sits on my face and feels like its about to slide off. Im unsure of the quality of the Spf in this product as still tan as quickly when im using it. The only downfall with this product is the packaging, the bottle makes it hard for you to get a small amount out and its hard to squeeze, when your coming to the end of the product. Overall a good product

Conditioner -TRESemme - Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner

Im loving this conditioner.= for my 4B relaxed hair. If im using it as a deep conditioner i add a tablespoon of avocado oil, cover my head with a shower cap and warm towel and sit with it on for over an hour. I also use it as a leave i conditioner, by mixing half a teaspoon of castor oil with it, and applying it to towel dried hair. This conditioner, makes my hair feel moisture infused, soft, elastic and bouncy. This is one of my staples!

This stuff works simple! I take 5000mg a day and it makes my hair grow much faster than usual, almost 50% more. The only downfall is the break outs, drinking loads of water use an anti bac face wash and you should be fine. I will never stop taking biotin.

This conditioner is officially my holy grail hair product. I love this stuff, i have written reviews on conditioners before as i have been desperate to find a conditioner that can condition and moisturise my dry, brittle, shredded wheat textured hair 4b Afro Caribbean hair. Aussie deep is a thick textured, medium weight conditioner that easily penetrates into the hair strands moisturising the outer cuticle making it lie flat so my hair feel smoother, internally moisturised and elastic like never before. I spend so much money on designer conditioners thinking that the price tag would make the ingredients more effective. I can now buy aussie deep for an 8th of the price of kerastase oleo relax, and redken all soft and it works so much better than either of those two!!!! The conditioner smells yummy too and the packaging makes it easy to use in the shower. Thank you aussie, i can now run my fingers through my hair!

Shampoo -Kerastase - Bain de Force

I tried this shampoo after reading the reviews on make up alley. All i can say is thanks guys, now i know what your all mean, by this shampoo definately compliments the ciment conditioner. Surprisingly this shampoo is very gentle on my extremely dry hair, i didn't find it stripping and it didn't leave my hair in a chewing gum tangled mess like some shampoos. I have now added this to my staples list; my hair feels much more stronger of late, with less shredding and the ends aren't thinning out so quickly. I would recommend this shampoo, if your hair needs more elasticity and resilience.

Conditioner -Kerastase - Oleo Relax

This product made my relaxed afro hair feel moisturised from within. I always look for the 'slip' quality in a conditioner, which basically means that its easy to comb through my hair. I have noiced a big difference since i started combing conditioner through my hair, which i never did before. It ensures that every strand is covered and saturated in goodness! lol! I would use this conditioner once a week, cover my head with a shower cap and sit in the gym sauna for 20 mins. Afterwards my hair would feel amazing and the moisturised feeling would last well into the week. One of the best conditioners i've used in a looooong time. I cant wait to try the new Kerastase slim conditioner, hopefully it will be a strong competitor for this one.

I have quite dry afro caribbean hair, and after reading all the reviews on this product i was honestly expecting a miracle product. I was however sorely disappointed. I tried to blow dry with this product and it left my hair dull, fly away with a sticky coating. Only if i use this product on dry hair after using my straightners, then it makes me hair look glossy and feels moisturised. I won't be buying this again, as there are more effective serums out there (IC olive oil serum) which work better, for a fraction of the price.

For me the key to using this product is not to use too much or too little, as both will result in my normal shine coming through. When i get the amount just right, this product works well, but not as good as the shine control lotion. I did notice a small cyst appearing on my chin when i initially started using this, not sure if this was the result of a blocked pore. Needless to say i wont be purchasing again.
