Shampoo -Batiste - Dry Shampoo

I have tried several dry shampoos including tigi's rockaholic (which i used one time and it disappeared from the can), klorane, powders and this one so far is my fave. I'm hooked on these now because I have so much hair and I like to keep it long and my hair gets oily by the next day. I usually wash my hair every other day, but once in a while I don't mind going a 2nd day without washing because I have to get up super early in the morning for work or other things and don't want to wet my hair and feel cold. I know it's weird, plus blow drying takes forever when I'm in a rush so Batiste saves the day! I LOVE this stuff! I have the regular turquoise can and the blush can. This stuff no kidding soaks up all the oil and takes away the oily scalp smell and gross feeling and gives me a nice clean feeling dried up scalp with volume! I love it! I also love the buy one get one sales at ulta..i will stock up next time.

Concealers -MAC - Pro Longwear concealer

I was very excited to give this a try and once I finally got it I applied it. Then I look into the mirror minutes later once it was dried and I saw lines that I've never seen before! I felt like an old crepe! Pros: -Coverage is not so bad -consistency is not too thick -coloring is good (i use nw25 under my eyes when I'm an nc37) Cons: -dries too fast for you to blend until you get the desired result -the pump/glass packaging is not the best i prefer a squeeze tube but because of the formula they had to package it in an air tight bottle. the pump really pumps out too much sometimes when i fail to get a baby pump out -the formula is too drying for the skin when i believe concealers need to be hydrating because of the delicate skin under the eyes (and i use good eye creams twice a day so my eye area skin is not bad) -i agree with other reviewers, the more you layer, the more it cakes up -when i set it with powder it looked even more cakey I still will rate Amazing concealer as my fave because of the moisturizing formula and easily blendability and coverage and true to skin color effect under the eyes. Although it can crease a tad that's no big deal I just pat with my finger.

Lip Gloss -NYX - Cosmo - Mega Shine

Picked this up at Ulta today! It instantly stood out to me when I was checking out the NYX mega shine glosses..I'm a big fan of bronzy shimmery lip shades and this is no exception. This looks extremely gorgeous on and gives the lips a pouty effect due to high shine/shimmer. You can wear it sheerly for a soft look or glop it on and show it off! I prefer to glop it on (not glopped on so much that it droops off your lips lol) but it's a fantastic shade that I would recommend. It especially flatters the medium/tan complexions. Beautiful and always love the cherry icee scent!

Concealers -Amazing Cosmetics - Amazing Concealer

To be honest, at first I didn't care for it too much because Medium Beige was kinda light under my eyes and Tan was a tad too dark for me..but now that they added several new shades I am forever a customer! My skin tone is especially lighter in the winter but I am naturally tan, not as tan as I want to be but that's beside the point. Unfortunately, since I'm not tan tan, I have to mix medium golden and tan golden. I poured both in a small .5g jar. I'm so happy they added new shades because most were too pink. I have more yellow in my skin than pink. This concealer is the best because a little goes a long way so for 28.00 (.5oz), a tube should last you anywhere from 6-9 months. Depends on if you use it only for under eyes or all over. The larger size which is 1oz is 42.00. This concealer is a staple in my kit for clients..everyone i use it on loves it because it covers those serious dark circles. It can tend to crease because of the mineral oil, but you just have to touch up and gently smooth it out with your finger a couple of times a day. Always set with powder to make sure it stays on it's best as well. Ulta sometimes has the buy 1 get 1 sales..take advantage!

Fragrances -Viktor & Rolf - Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb

My very first whiff of it I thought hmm, very sweet smelling and a little on the heavy side. Flowerbomb grew on me, now I am a BIG fan. The dry down is my absolute favorite, so yummy and sensual! It is a very nicely made perfume. It has 1000 layers of flowers and too kthem 10 yrs to create. Now it is a big hit. It's called Flowerbomb, but does not give off that floral vibe at all, I smell more of the fruitiness to it. It also has patchouli which I usually don't like that much, but the mixture of it with everything smells wonderful and I also think that helps stay on longer. I would love to have the lotion as well since it's so moisturizing and leaves my skin so soft and smells great! I definitely love wearing Flowerbomb more in the colder months rather than the hotter months since it's a little strong.

Fragrances -Thierry Mugler - Womanity

The thought of this fragrance makes me nauseous and have a headache! Let me say, I am a fan of Thierry Mugler fragrances, Alien being my favorite. This is downright awful..what were they thinking? Who the hell wants to smell like FISH EGGS??? The bottle design is very detailed and odd, but interesting looking. The scent is nauseating and gives me a headache everytime I smell it. I sell fragrances, so everytime a customer tests it, the smell lingers and lingers and I can't bear it. When I first tried it, I was like this bottle is so cool so I sprayed it on my wrist and then I realized it was disgusting! Also it wouldn't come off! I washed and washed and even tried rubbing it off with isopropyl alcohol and it still lingered..ugh. The first thing I thought it smelled like was cigars and rosy fruit perfume trying to mask it..bad mix. I am a woman of tasteful fragrances as I have a collection and a very good nose! This is probably the worst smelling perfume I've ever experienced..worse than those 1980's powdery scents! I'm surprised it was created by Thierry Mugler as well since they usually have good fragrances.

Mascara -Cargo - Lash Activator

Let me just say, I fell for all the reviews on RapidLash, but the product did not deliver as much as I expected. Now, I have gotten the mini duo pack of the lash activator and the lash activator night serum and in only a week i noticed obvious results! It claims to see full results in 30 days..My lashes have been growing and sprouting and curling and glossifying..omg am I in love with this stuff! I like the brush application techinique for a night serum as well rather than an eyeliner brush application along the lashline. This stuff works wonders and I HIGHLY recommend it. It's much cheaper than RapidLash. Ulta had a buy one get one free sale on both Lash Activators for about 3 wks so I got the day and night. I love using the day one as a mascara, it's very lengthening but not too thickening so I apply another one over it. For those natural days, I like to use this. I love using this as a mascara primer most of the time too because I want the full benefits! I LOVE this!!! It has 3 main ingredients to promote longer, thicker, and stronger lashes: Biotin, Marine Algae Extracts, and Hydrolyzed Keratin.

Love the concealer, hate the foundation. This just ended my trust of using drugstore brand foundation. First of all I have combo/oily skin so I use liquid only once in a while, mostly I use mineral makeup. This was not super staying at all, it actually made me more oily and slid right off throughout the day..I looked like a greasepit and I use primer, I'm all about using primer for everything. Also, it broke me out! This is why I will only trust higher end brands for my foundation like Smashbox being my favorite. I do love Maybelline concealer though..the superstay 24 hr concealer doesn't break me out which is weird because I thought since that didn't maybe the foundation won't but I was wrong! Also I love the Age Rewind double ended concealer..love it.

I LOVE! I am really into to Maybelline concealers now..I used nothing but high end brands, but if you don't want to spend so much I would go with Maybelline. I have been using the superstay one and still am for my blemishes, but this one covers my dark circles so well and looks natural and not cakey!! I'm a freak for illuminators..i love my smashbox photo op, but this illuminator it comes with is so awesome for the price! I would buy it alone if they made one! The brush is nice and short so you can really control where to apply and blend with fingers. I use medium and have a tan skin tone. I love this stuff..i feel like just buying more even though i just got one because i like it that much! Now..to test on my blemishes, not sure if the color will match though and hopefully wont break me out! For under eyes this is great!!

Treatments (Eye) -Mario Badescu - Ceramide Herbal Eye Cream

This is Mario's most popular eye cream. It's a nice simple eye cream to the point. The ceramides smooth out lines and wrinkles and prevent them. The aha's exfoliate. I have a sample of this. I have too many eye creams that I haven't used this one consistently. I think it's a good hydrating eye cream for those who want to prevent fine lines and wrinkles. It's not going to be the most hydrating, the hyaluronic one is from MB. The price point is great and you still get pro quality.

Concealers -Maybelline - Superstay

I gave this a try since the reviews were so great and the sound of an oil-free long lasting concealer that covers fully drew my attention and so did the price. At Ulta there was a buy 1 get 1 sale so i got this and something else. I have to say I was impressed! Ive tried so many different concealers since I am obsessed with concealer and this one goes on so creamy but delivers great coverage. Also, it's hard to find a concealer that won't break you out and this one doesn't! It's also fantastic for dark circles! I'm going to try the Age Rewind double ended one next!

Love the packaging, love the size, love the price...this is my brush cleaner and nothing else. The smell is very fresh and leaves my brushes squeaky clean and for 8 0z and 16.00 this is a great deal. I used to buy BE brush shampoo but it's 4 oz and 14.00 and not in a pump bottle, which is very ideal especially for washing brushes.

Foundations -Peter Thomas Roth - Un-Wrinkle Foundation SPF 20

This foundation is amazing!!! It is found at Ulta stores and there was a free deluxe sample of this with any PTR purchase and the sample was very generous in a pump tube, so cute!! Anyways, I love PTR products and got so excited when they created Unwrinkle foundation! It has the same vitamins and their famous blend of 6 anti-aging neuropeptides that all unwrinkle products carry to target the fine lines and wrinkles that are caused by repetitive facial expressions, genetic aging, or environmental damage etc. Anyways, I'm still young, but I am a big fan of PTR and good foundation and I tried it out and one of my co-workers swears by it and told me i will get compliments on my skin since she always does when she wears it. I have to say my skin is combo-oily and acne prone, but this didnt break me out and my skin was left flawless and glowy looking while still getting the anti-aging benefits!! Even with primer, my blush would sort of slide and blotch up but when i got home from a very tiring beauty event work shift, i saw that my blush was still in place with this and the foundation still looked good! I'm in love!! I highly recommend this foundation it is great! It is oil-free as well. This is 45.00 and found at Ulta or Sephora.
